    Farmhouse Feast - Turkey
    Diana P.

Instead of stressing about making a big Christmas dinner this year, my family opted for the turkey Farmhouse Feast. Everything is already cooked and packaged. All we had to do was pick it up on Christmas Eve and reheat the food. The dinner came with turkey, green beans, corn, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, pumpkin pie, and whipped cream. This meal is intended to feed four people, but I think we could have fed five, maybe six. There was plentyyy of food! My favorite item was the mashed potatoes. Super smooth and creamy. They tasted great by themselves, but the gravy obviously was a yummy addition. It went well with the turkey too. I wasn't a huge fan of the rolls though. They tasted very strongly of yeast. If you like that flavor, then you'd love these. The pumpkin pie had the right amount of spice and wasn't overly sweet, so it didn't cause that "sugar fatigue" feeling. Overall, the meal was awesome! If you want a simple dinner and not a sink full of dishes, I recommend ordering this meal. You'll have plenty of leftovers!

    Filthy seats and wall

Filthy Dirty. Floors, seats, seat cushions. Plain gross. Food was hard to enjoy because of the filth.

Turkey & dressing with carrots and mashed potatoes.

Ahhh the Bears Den!!! yet another magnificent destination steakhouse in the state of Ohio…read more Customers will drive for hours to come to this place. This is a rustic and relaxed style of restaurant, and the steaks are impeccably cooked and they are quite delicious as well as the side dishes. Check the hours as they're not open every single day and you might want to call to check and see if you need a reservation before traveling from a distance. Pro tip: TRY THE PIE!!! The staff here are super friendly and often check back on their tables as would be expected. A nice touch is the great hospitality provided here, which sometimes in a busy big city restaurant is not quite as nice as what you get here. These are really great people. The restaurant is nearby salt Fork State Park, so if you're visiting or staying there, Bears Den can easily be a welcome treat that you will talk about for years to come.

But I went with the special which was New York strip, and I had green beans which you'll see in the picture. I had almonds on them and carrots. I have to say those were the best carrots I've ever had in my life. Steak was perfect delicious, seasoned perfectly. A neat place to visit and I will definitely come back again.

It's packed but do not get impatient, they have this down to a science and you are usually called within 20-30 minutes or less. It depends on the line. The food is tasty, very delicious. The pies... yum o'lala. Clean, everyone is kind. Oh and the Amish families eat there, so you know it has to be good. Our guest ate from the Buffett, we eat from the menu.

There's a buffet or menu items to choose from. We got the buffet. Full salad bar with fresh ingredients, local cheese. Cold salads like macaroni and broccoli. The croutons were good, crunchy but not break your teeth and they had a variety of breads they used. Fresh bacon pieces. The hot foods bar had: -fried chicken (VERY good, highly recommend) -cabbage casserole (little too cheesy for me) -corn (very very sweet, interesting) -noodles (YUM!!!) -dressing (what they call stuffing, it was good) -bbq ribs (fall of the bone but I thought the sauce could be better, have more flavor) -green beans (basic, would be better with seasoning/butter) -mashed potatoes and gravy (yum!) We had good service and overall the buffet was a better deal than ordering something off the menu, especially if you wanted to try a couple different things. It was a good way to get a wide variety of items. Lemonade was very fresh

Olde Dutch Restaurant in Logan -- so many people hyped this place up that we had to check it out…read more It's buffet style with all-you-can-eat salad bar, soups, hot dishes, and pies. Drinks are extra, and there's also a small $1-2 supplemental fee added on, which felt a little odd since it could probably just be included in the buffet price. The food itself is very classic home-style comfort food with lots of options. Nothing super fancy or out of the ordinary, but everything tasted fresh and the buffet was constantly being refilled every few minutes. We also got the iced sweet teas, which seemed to be really popular since almost every table had one. One unique thing -- the entrance and exit are through the gift shop, and you also pay there at the end of your meal, which definitely adds to the old-school country restaurant experience. Our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, too. Overall, worth the stop for the experience and comforting homemade-style food while visiting Logan.

This place was hopping but somehow everything flowed smoothly. We tried a little bit of everything- chicken and noodles, salad, stewed tomatoes, asparagus, has brown casserole, pie, etc. my husband seemed to really enjoy their fried chicken. They also offer a menu you can order from a la carte. The buffet was so extensive that we ended up sticking with it. I only hold off on the fifth star because some of the food was over salted and/or overcooked (especially the veggies- asparagus, cauliflower, etc).
