And, as I was checking in, the hotel desk clerk recommended to me. I ordered the steak salad. It was so good & so unusual. Fresh spring mixed lettuce, cucumber, lots of cheese, a healthy portion of steak, mandarin oranges and, to top it off, nice, big onion rings. The service was good as well. A nice surprise to encounter during our travels. The interior is clean and has a 'Forum' decor with pictures and faux plaster all around. Really interesting. The chairs and banquettes were all very clean as well. Our server was super friendly and efficient throughout the lunch meal. We ordered the cobb salad and a Reuben sandwich with fries and they even split them all up in the kitchen rather than make us do it at the table. Truly appreciate that! Wow! We were traveling out east from the Midwest for the holidays and stopped in Cambridge. The Forum was close to our hotel. So glad we discovered it. It was sensational! It was very busy when we arrived on Friday night, so we had to wait a little bit. So worth the wait. Our waitress was friendly. We started with the Saganaki. It was served with fried pita bread and was so good. I highly recommend this dish. My parents had never tried it, but they are now fans of flaming cheese! We each ordered a different entree (fajitas, Italian combo, Philly steak sandwich, and salmon) and all four of us loved our dishes plus the breadsticks were soft and chewy. Was attending a conference in the area and decided to try this restaurant. I started with the salted caramel White Russian cocktail, which was creamy and delicious! The waitress was friendly and attentive. I had the marinated chicken. My husband had the Authentic Greek salad. And had for dessert the Buckeye cake, which was chocolate cake with a peanut butter mousse filling. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture. I really enjoyed my dinner at The Forum while traveling through Cambridge, Ohio. I recommend driving around the older area of Cambridge before dining at The Forum. There are a lot of historic houses in Cambridge that are quite beautiful. The Forum is also within walking from several hotels. I shared a dinner of French onion soup and an angus hamburger with French fries. In all of my years of dining out and sharing food, the server usually brings an extra plate for us to split it up. Our server was so kind and split the hamburger for us including the French fries and the toppings. The service and food were excellent and I will definitely return. Also. You know, sometimes life is just meant to be enjoyed. The same thing goes through at the forum restaurant which was established in 1995 in Cambridge, Ohio. My wife and I stopped here for lunch as we were embarking on a road trip to Fayetteville West Virginia. We learned that this is one of the hundred best places to eat in all of Ohio, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Gyro, which was a specialty item from the menu and my wife ordered the grilled chicken which was also ironically enough another specialty item. My Gyro is fantastic. I did not let my wife eat any of it because I was so hungry and it melted inside my mouth. Likewise, my wife's chicken was so fantastic. She would not let me sample a bite. After I smashed my Gyro, I lifted my fork and a very sly manner and tried to slide it across the table to snag a piece. However, I was met with an evil gaze and a knife in hand, and I quickly retreated. It was smart of me not to steal a piece of chicken lol read more

We were visiting the area to see the Dicken's Christmas and courthouse lights. During our last trip we stayed near this place but went elsewhere in our travels so decided to give this highly recommended spot. It was nice inside and very inviting, with a friendly staff. The menu was a little overwhelming but we automatically started with the flaming saganaki, I suggest everyone try. We've had it at a place near our house and this one was SOOOO much better. It's set on fire tableside and lemon added to diminish the flames, served with warm pita chips. We both ordered the lemon chicken soup which was also delicious. They have a mixture of steak, pastas, sandwiches, greek/italian. I wish I would have ordered the famous chicken fingers but I went healthier with the marinated chicken breast that had a lot of flavor. My husband had the sampler and the chicken parm was grilled which at first we thought weird but he said he would go back just for that as well as the lasagna. The spaghetti sauce was little too chunky for his taste. The only thing we missed out on was dessert. I did not see a menu nor did our server offer. read more

I do not recommend this restaurant. As soon as I walked in I knew something was wrong. No Greek in sight it was mostly high school kids working all Caucasian. You can't even call what I ordered a gyro! It was low quality and gross. They buy all their products from GFS and it's all frozen premade food. If you've ever been to a bigger city, where you tasted a real gyro you would be disgusted by this one. My suggestion is to keep on driving by this place. I think the only people that would like this restaurant are people that never tasted real Mediterranean food. read more

This is the worst food I have ever had at a restaurant. It was mix between school cafeteria and prison food. I got what was supposed to be marinated lemon chicken. It looked like the food that comes with one of those kids kitchen. Not a smidge of lemon taste. Came with potato that like a juice to it. I have made baked potatoes and they are not juicy. Having passed by this place 100 times over the years I finally decided to stop in. This area was always a stop between Columbus & Pittsburgh. Decided to meet my family here for Mother's Day and we all left pleasantly surprised. We arrived and were told it would be a 40 minute wait. It was more like 5 minutes. A nice place with plenty of parking. Got seated fairly quickly on a weekend night. The place was full which is always a good sign. Bread sticks with butter were served. Fairly diverse menu with salads, pasta, steaks, burgers. Was told the chicken fingers were a hot item. Ended up getting the seafood parisian with a side salad. The side salad greek dressing was good. Tomato, onion, croutons, iceberg lettuce, and I swear there was either Daikon, parsnip, or kohlrabi in it. I was so disappointed in my seafood pasta. It was supposed to have a white wine cream sauce but honestly it seemed more like a thick alfredo. It had zero flavor other than fish. Like fishy fish. I couldn't eat it, it made me gag and I like fish. Fortunately the side salad was filling. The steak salad had mixed greens in it, the steak was cooked right but it was cold and loaded with cheese. Was staying at the Holiday Inn Express nearby after a long day on the road. Wanted someplace close I could walk to. Online reviews looked good do I strolled over for dinner. Waitress was very efficient and pleasant. I had a good Gyro with sweet potato fries and an excellent local beer on tap that is similar but much better than Blue Moon (Orange something....). Driving back and we stopped off in Cambridge to grab a bite for lunch. We were greeted and sat right away. We had a few questions about gluten free options and our waitress answered many of them and verified with the kitchen on the last about if they had gluten free buns and yes, this day they did. My mom being a big Elvis Presley fan had to get "The King of Pork Chops", and enjoy them she did. I enjoyed my steak. Very tender and it had a char resembling a outdoor barbeque flavor. The gyro was HUGE, so my dad didn't finish it all at lunch, but I'm sure will tonight or tomorrow! My brother was a bit let down by the Philly sandwich. Not as much flavor as he had hoped for. Everyone had fries and those were and excellent side. A great crisp and crunch to them. An overall solid meal. Very good portions. The service is great. The food comes out in a timely manner. We stopped here on our way across from Dayton to NC and DC. We were very impressed. The restaurant was nice, clean, etc. Our server Rochelle was fast, and knowledgeable about how the food was prepared. The food was excellent! I LOVED their "Olympic Chicken " which was full of fresh vegetables, as well as artichoke hearts, mushrooms, and broccoli. All was just perfectly cooked, not mushy at all. The wine sauce was light and delicious. My son had the "Parisian Seafood ", with shrimp, crab, and scallops. It was also delicious, but heavy with a lot of cream. I think that my dish was one of the best dishes I have had; tasty and good vegetables. They also offer an all vegetarian option, which would probably also be good. The salads were pretty ordinary, but the meal excellent. Even with each of us having a drink and a beer. The total cost was under $70. If we're ever in the area I would find a way to eat dinner here.
