So I'm a person who loves spice; I am also from metro Detroit so I decided to try their chili dog and a bowl of chili. Let me start with the chili: it says spicy and they aren't kidding. Now it isn't uncomfortably spicy but you get some burn. Secondly, the chili is THICK! (My pic showed my spoon standing up in the chili). The chili dog was good, probably the same chili, as it was not a coney. I'm used to a coney sauce with a bit more onion but theirs was good. Service was excellent as our waitress took care of our table and others near us. The environment was not quiet, it bordered on loud but we could carry on conversations. The real key is would I return? Yes, tomorrow would be great. Their menu has so many options I could eat here five days in a row and not get the same thing. read more

This is definitely worth the stop. In the middle of downtown Cambridge, it is a trip down memory lane. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The place was clean and open and really big. Several older couples out having dinner. Your diner fare on the menu. My wife got the hot turkey sandwich and I got the club. We both agreed that the sandwiches were ok but not out of this world. The fries were really good. The coney dog was tasty and just the right amount of toppings to keep it from getting super sloppy. The Pies! Well, that is a different deal. We were full so we took ours to go but man...the variety of pies is great and the taste! Man oh man...they got their pie game on. Both choices we picked (Oreo and lemon meringue) were top choices. A+ all around. Wish I could take this place home with me. The front desk at our hotel recommended this diner style locale. The place was large, seating was ample, service was excellent and the food was wonderful. I had a hot burger sandwich with mashed potatoes & gravy while my SO has a gyro. We cleaned out plates! Located right in the heart of Cambridge, this family owned restaurant has a little bit of everything including "famous pies". The service was a little slow but the staff was friendly. The daily specials peeked my interest immediately once I saw a Grilled Strawberry Chicken Salad with a white balsamic dressing. The portions were generous filling me up for lunch. Having dietary restrictions, I was still able to find a great meal even if I couldn't sample the pies. read more

The coneys are great. The coleslaw could be a little creamier. The batter dipped mushrooms are amazing. They are the biggest ones we have ever had. Done perfectly and the side of ranch to dip them in was great. They were busy, so our mushrooms came out later, but definitely worth the wait! Service was very good. read more

Everything was delicious and well taken care of. Food is always well proportioned and healthy looking salads.

The waitress was friendly and very observant. I highly recommend the cheese stix. They were delicious! The only downside you only get 4 in an order. The marinara sauce delicious. I had the Alaskan whitefish and scalloped potatoes. Both were very tasty. The only side I didn't like was the coleslaw. It had a vinegar taste. My husband had specialty burger with onion rings. Found Theo's thanks to Yelp - what a really good place to get a good meal. I had hand battered and deep fried fish and chips and a salad, and a side salad with Greek dressing, followed by a slab of homemade coconut cream pie. Everything was tasty and good. So tempted to get one of the homemade soups. Theo's is an easy reach from I-70, about 5 minutes maybe to downtown Cambridge Ohio. Service was outstanding, too. Get there at either the front end or the back end of the lunch hour though (we got there @11:45 and it was just before a solid lunch rush), is my advice. The restaurant staff is very friendly and provides great service. I ate the hot beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was really good and had good flavor. The only criticism I'd give is that the sandwich didn't contain a lot of roast beef. I ended up taking the roast beef out of 1/2 of the sandwich and just adding it to the other 1/2. On our way home from vacation & stopped at Theo's for a late lunch/early dinner. It was around 3:30ish on a Saturday and the restaurant was very busy. We were seated quickly and our fantastic waitress made sure to get my family's order in first before the large group of 10+. I ordered 2 coney dogs with coney sauce, mustard, onions, & cheese. There's a reason this restaurant is famous for them! I also had a basket of 1/2 mushrooms & 1/2 onion rings. The onion rings were good, but the star was the mushrooms. Perfectly battered and fried. (I honestly do not remember what the rest of my family ordered for their meals, but they cleaned their plates.) Then came dessert...I split the Oreo pie with my daughter, while my mom had lemon meringue and my dad had peach. Again we were members of the "clean players club!" The food was perfect, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was family friendly. I will be back as it was that good! read more

Walking inside, I felt this restaurant fit into the downtown Cambridge vibe. Nothing outstanding or anything, just seems to aesthetically fit into its surroundings. I ordered their Mushroom Swiss Burger with fries. Unfortunately, this burger comes pre-formed and frozen, unlike their namesake burger that they ground the meat in-house. But, without a doubt, this burger was one very good! Juicy, flavorful, hard to put my finger on, but it was pretty snazzy in my book. Their fries were also excellent. We hired Theos for our daughter's wedding in August 2024. We paid for three tastings to select the food that we were most excited about and looking forward to sharing with our guests. Theos did a nice job with the appetizers but the dinner entrees were on the coldish side and were not the same quality and quantity that we had ordered per the tastings. One food item was entirely wrong. After reaching out to the catering staff and the owner, Theos refused take any ownership or bring any right to the situation based on the fact that they had received a few compliments from guests. However, we were the client who had ordered, paid for, and knew what was to be served. We didn't experience much ethics or integrity here. read more

Found on Yelp while travelling, wasn't looking for anything crazy and this fit the bill. Not bad for eastern Ohio, great location downtown. Huge interior space, just massive. The cole slaw was uninspired, same stuff you get at Big Boy (at least that's what it tasted like to me). The coneys were just OK as well, chili had a unique flavor but nothing great. The price was cheap...slaw and dogs were under $8. Lots of families and groups of people...pretty busy for a Monday. I get the impression they do well. read more
