Our dinner this evening was awesome. Environment is perfect. Server (Audrey) is attentive and is one of the best. She went above and beyond!!

The Mona Lisa spaghetti was soo good! The flavor of the peppers in the sauce was a pleasant surprise! I had the lasagna & was happy with it but wish I would have gotten the spaghetti as well! Reasonably priced for the portion size & came with a salad. We will definitely be visiting again

When we first entered the restaurant, immediately the ambience and atmosphere made us feel welcome. There were two hosts at the front desk, greeting us with warm and friendly smiles. We were seated and given menus. I'm not one to name drop, but I will mention that the service from our waitress was less than exceptional, however, forgivable. We had to ask for silverware, and then another employee ended up bringing the sets, even making a comment acknowledging the lack of attention to our table. I should have gotten his name. He made us feel a bit better about the service. I won't harp too much more on the waitress, maybe just a bad night. The food was exceptional, not super gourmet or home-run quality, but it was decently prepared and served hot. The spaghetti was a little sour for my taste, but thats a matter of personal preference The four stars take into account the overall welcoming atmosphere and the service of the waitress. The food was hot and served fresh. Just because I didn't like the taste doesn't mean you won't!

It's been very good every time we've eaten here. There is always great service, and the German Pizza is amazing. Wow. The chicken parm? Eh. I'm not impressed, to be honest, but the other food has been great. The chicken parm was slightly overcooked and very thinly sliced for the price I paid. Did I mention how good the German Pizza was? Also crazy enough, the first time we went a few weeks ago everything on the menu was $1-$3 cheaper. Was disappointed to see so many prices to have gone up so high.

The positive: the food is spectacular, old-school Italian. The salads with house Italian are fresh, crispy, amazing-crouton awesomeness. The French Onion Soup was cheesy and flavorful (and not so hot that it required cooling). Best of all the spaghetti with meat sauce was a hint-of-sweet, non-acidic perfection for me, and for my husband the chicken cannelloni was a cool twist on tradition with a whole chicken breast wrapped on sheet pasta with a flavorful cheese medley. The negative: the hostess was approached by waitresses asking for dish removal assistance on our way to be seated. Our silverware and napkins were missing until 5 minutes after the soup & salad arrived. My glass of wine was delivered 10 minutes after the salad. No water was ever brought for the table. Finally (and perhaps this is colloquial) the server responded to every "thank you" with "no problem". I honestly believe they were understaffed for a Saturday evening, which is clearly the norm these days. I would visit again in spite of the service -- albeit on a weekday -- because the food was just that good.

    Specials for the week.

I guess we just picked the wrong time to visit. It took about 30 min to get to the table which we were told. It then took another 10 min to get our drinks. The wonton appetizer was just warm, the pizza app was warmer. Both were very tasty. The Mona Lisa spaghetti was delicious as was the Pork bbq with Cole slaw and homemade Mac & cheese. No room for dessert

It's not good Italian food... the lasagna tastes like it came out of the freezer section. The service was lackluster. Will not be back

Entering the restaurant, you'll want to pull out your phone out as you're led through a dark lounge room and then through a set of red curtains into a grand dining area perfectly fit for a bar in Transylvania. There are a variety of options on their drink menu and after trying a few of their cocktails/martinis I found them all to be either too sweet or not good. Luckily the bartender knew how to make a good dirty martini. The food is basic American fare. I always enjoy a good trio, which is offered for their Mac n cheese and chicken tenders; I ordered the Max n Cheese trio which was pretty good. My husband and I both found our dinners to be satisfying. Their brunch menu, however, is inspired and deliciously executed. My family and I sat on the patio on a beautiful May morning and it was a much better experience. The five of us who dined for brunch were all more than pleased with our drinks and entrees and I highly recommend 740 Social for hip brunch experience.

When we did get our drink order in it took forever to get them, again, a water and a coke and one drink from the bar. It is 6pm on a Saturday yet they were not all that busy at all. Got the Brussel Sprouts appetizer and was highly disappointed. Charbroiled would be an understatement. They were fried to the point of being inedible. Definitely wouldn't recommend those. My husband burger was ok. He got the Honkey Tonk Burger and it didn't taste horrible but wasn't something to write home about. I got a Cesar Salad and it left me questioning what the purpose of even saying it had avocado on it with the 3 slivers on the top as a garnish. At least the bartender made a good drink. That's about as good as it got. We come here on our anniversary and on New Years Eve every year and this is by far the worst service and food we have ever had.
