Wow! Our experience was a 10/10. My husband took me for my birthday, he ordered the "black and blue" while I ordered the filet. I also ordered a lemon drop Martini (and a French raspberry martini) while my husband ordered an Old Fashioned with Angels Envy--all were delicious! Both were magnificent and cooked absolutely perfectly. Our server was super helpful in making drink and dining selections and overall just a little lovely individual. The place is small and cute but not crammed. After learning of my birthday, I was treated to a complimentary slice of cake with "happy birthday " written on the plate which was just so sweet. This will absolutely be a MUST return to, whether for a special occasion or date night. read more

I came here on Valentine's Day for a date and honestly wasn't that impressed considering the price of everything. The butter that came with the bread was overpowered with whatever they season it with, the spinach dip had SO much spinach in it that's all you could taste and they were out of at least 3-4 menu items that we asked for. The potato cakes were very dry and they claim the ranch is made in house but it just tasted like every other restaurant ranch watered down. Beautiful littie restaurant. Stopped in as we were traveling south. Waitstaff person may have been new.The ribeye was cut thin and was tough . The lamb chops were okay. The potato pancake is seemed to be their wasabi mashed potatoes shaped into a pancake and fried. It was yummy but no sour cream in the restaurant. As the small restaurant became busy it was loud and difficult to converse. Seating appeared somewhat tight. We would probably come back. read more

We came to this restaurant for our wedding anniversary. It was lovely inside with real candles and white table cloths. One of the more upscale places in town. Our food was delicious, hot and exactly what we wanted. I don't know if there is a parking lot behind the building but a lot of street parking to pick from in downtown Marietta. read more

I've had a sudden realization: I seriously need more seafood in my life. As luck has it, on a day where I was looking for seafood options, Austyns menu was exactly what the doctor ordered. Austyns has a 'classic American' vibe. It's always hard to define what American food actually is. Being that this is a country of many nations, the menu is filled with culinary influences from all over....land and sea. I highly recommend the ahi tuna appetizer. Extremely fresh tuna, thinly cut and topped with wasabi mayo and a seaweed salad. I can eat this all day. Austyns delivers a high quality product at a reasonable price and that's always a winner formula. I'll definitely find my way back here when in the area. Now on to other matters...It's not every day you find Austyn written with a Y. I have no real point here, just felt it had to be called out lol read more

During our work trip to Parkersburg, we found this steak & seafood place and had an awesome dinner here. We came back a few months later during another work trip with new people. We're all fans now and this is on our rotation when traveling to PKG, WV. First time here, got the crab cakes w/ wasabi mash potatoes & veggies. The crab cakes were meaty and large with good seasoning. The wasabi mash kicks your sinuses but in a gentle way so your head doesn't explode. Also started with a shrimp cocktail which has large shrimp and fresh taste. Definitely a killer first meal. Second time, we had a party of 6 and had a company feast with drinks, wine, and more food. This time I had the black and blue NY strip with Mac & cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly and I loved the bleu cheese butter which was a nice touch. The Mac and cheese was a huge hit at the table as some ordered it as an additional side after seeing mine and another team members. Creamy and cheesy, it was pleasing! It's a small dining establishment with a classy interior. Feels intimate and staff treat it as such. We also had the same server the 2nd time as we did the first time. Somehow she remembered me from my first visit; must've left a good impression haha! Totally coming back; makes our work travel worth it just for the meals and service here! read more

We haven't been here in some time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My filet was really good, perfectly cooked. My wife's fettuccine was amazing. The beef tips appetizer was WAY good as well. My son and I found ourselves in Marietta so we decided to give this place a try. We started off with spicy shrimp soup and we were blown away (so blown away that we ordered more to go for us to eat for lunch the next day). My son ordered the 16oz ribeye and somehow managed to eat it all. The wasabi mashed potatoes and veggies were excellent. I had lobster tail and a salad, also excellent. A nice patron also offered to buy my son a dessert... so he tried the cheesecake as well, and he approved of course. We will most definitely be back when we are in the area... and maybe we'll get lucky enough to score that spicy shrimp soup recipe. So delicious! read more

Wonderful meal at Austyn's. Our server, Oliver, was very efficient and visited with us. He told us lots about the area. We enjoyed the prosciutto prawns with granny smith apple slices. I don't go to Austyn's as often as I like because it's a small place and you feel like everyone is on top of each other and you can't have any private conversations. The spinach artichoke dip was fantastic! I could have eaten the whole thing as my dinner. With us, were friends from Los Angeles and they said that there are great restaurants in LA but the food at Austyn's was very good. read more

Came here for the first time and had a great experience! The waiter was super nice and knowledgeable of menu items. I've never been to a restaurant where you could order Mac and cheese as an appetizer and was pleasantly surprised . The appetizer mac was large enough to share! Dessert was great! Austyn's does reservations, but luckily they had a table available for us and the hostesses were very welcoming. On the other hand, our waitress was a bit scattered brained. We got the beef tip appetizer and it was quite delicious! Unfortunately, after the appetizer things went downhill quickly. I got the Sea Bass special and I thought it was delicious although a little underdone, which was the theme of our meal. My Dad's and fiancé's steaks were both way underdone and my fiancé's vegetables were cold. The table across from us sent their steaks back, too, actually. My step-mom's fettuccine was lackluster. A little redemption came in the form of dessert. My turtle cheesecake was divine. Overall, the atmosphere was the best part of the whole experience. read more

Horrible texture. Like I said, nothing creamy about it. Next up ~ the wedge salad. They were out of iceberg lettuce so they stacked tough romaine leaves and slathered it all with blue cheese dressing than looked like it was bought at the grocery store. Again, horrible. By that time, my stomach was turning from the soup. Took one bite of the tough romaine leaves and left the rest. Took the waiter 40 minutes to get there to take our order. Horrible rolls that appeared to be FRIED. Another 40 minutes for dinner to arrive from the kitchen. Missed the Lewis Black show at the theater ~ $160 down the drain. Will never go back again. My new favorite restaurant in Marietta. Our old favorite had closed and Austyn's was recommended. My wife wasn't very hunger and our server Nicole recommended the crab rolls from the appetizer menu. My wife loved them. I got the Maryland Crab Cake with wasabi mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. Quite possibly the most perfect experience I've ever had. My wife and I are from Cincinnati and were visiting friends for the weekend. It was also our anniversary so we wanted something nice. Our friends recommended Austyn's. We were immediately seated and waited on. Our friends recommended the Truffle beef tips appetizer. AMAZING!!! I got the special that night which was a crab cake crusted swordfish with and amazing side of mushroom and vegetables pasta. Also AMAZING! My wife got the teriyaki salmon and the Gouda Mac and cheese. FANTASTIC! Everything was perfect and, quite possibly, the most delicious meal we've ever had. We were very tempted to get a dessert as well except we had already brought a dessert from home (our little anniversary tradition).
