Black Mission Figs with Burrata Salad, Mushroom Ravioli, Strawberry Bourbon Smash

Strong drinks, cool atmosphere, amazing food!We got the mushroom ravioli and the mission fig and burrata salad and both were incredible! They were presented perfectly, flavor was impeccable, and it left me feeling perfectly satisfied. Would absolutely recommend others to check it out!

I used to come here all the time up until 2017 when I moved away. I'm not sure what happened to the Galley but it's gone downhill. We had a reservation for 6 people on the patio. We show up and the hostess takes us outside and presents us with two tables for 4 and basically tells us to figure it out. So we (the patrons) moved the tables in order to sit together. Oh and it wasn't very busy at that time so I'm not sure why someone couldn't have moved the tables around beforehand, especially since we had a reservation. Now to the food. The menu was mostly the same so I went with the New York Strip (medium rare). First of all the steak was way overcooked. It was almost well done. I would have sent it back but I don't do things like that. The mashed potatoes were not fluffy at all, they were stiff. It was like they were made and plopped on the plate and sat for 20 minutes. Then the mixed veggie side. It was like tiny pieces of peppers and onions "stir fried", but they seemed way over cooked. I tried some of Brads coleslaw that came with his food and it was not good. Overall I don't recommend the galley anymore. Im not sure if management changed or what but the value is not there for the price.

Brussel Sprouts delicious. Boneless chicken wings for &12.00. Not worth it.

The place is small and cute but not crammed. After learning of my birthday, I was treated to a complimentary slice of cake with "happy birthday " written on the plate which was just so sweet. This will absolutely be a MUST return to, whether for a special occasion or date night.

Our server was extremely slow, taking about 10-15 minutes just to bring drinks. The brunch menu itself was one of the weakest I've ever seen, and both my husband and I struggled to find anything we wanted. He settled on the chicken and waffles, I ordered the avocado toast, and our friend ordered a brunch cheeseburger. When the food finally arrived (about 20 minutes later), it was shockingly bad. My husband's chicken and waffles looked like a joke -- boxed frozen waffles with dry chicken tenders and just a drizzle of syrup. My avocado toast was supposed to be served on thick homemade sourdough with a soft, runny egg on top. Instead, it came on thin, soggy bread with brown, slimy avocado and a hard-fried, solid egg. The two strips of bacon on top were flavorless. Our friend even said it was the worst burger he's had anywhere in town. To make matters worse, our server never checked on us once -- no refills, no "how's everything?" -- she only came back to drop off the check. For a $76 lunch (with no appetizers, no alcoholic drinks, and no desserts) for three people, it was beyond disappointing. First, they need a real menu, real chefs, and proper training for the servers. Do better, Black Diamond.

It's located in what feels like the middle of nowhere near Buckeye Lake. It's almost like I summoned it from my imagination, because I saw it on the side of the road right around the end of the day when I just needed some place to get a drink and a dessert. I sat at the bar, and the owner, Ben, served me himself! They have a full bar with lots of creative cocktail options, but I opted for wine. Ben happens to have a deep love of wine, and he gave me a couple of sample tastes of some of the special ones he had at the bar. We talked wine for a bit (he personally sources the wine he offers at Hereinafter from all over the world). It was such a nice visit -- just chatting about wine while drinking wine -- and definitely made my night. I like my wine dry, but I like my desserts sweet, so I got the warm peach cobbler. It was served bubbling hot in a little cast iron skillet, topped with a dollop of sweet cream. It was delicious, and it felt ultra decadent to eat while drinking wine. The atmosphere at Hereinafter is classy and cool and modern with a nod to mid-century decor (there's a plastic pink flamingo at the entrance). If you don't want to sit at the bar like I did, there are also booths and tables, so lots of places to sit and enjoy a drink and a meal with friends.

I received a text to confirm the reservation and the morning of the reservation I got a phone call, wishing us a happy anniversary and confirming our reservation. We arrived early as traffic was lite an we were excited. Upon arrival we were greeted an again wish a happy anniversary and promptly seated by Dottie, the maître D. Dottie introduced us to our server, Joelle and while Joelle got us water, Dottie explained the menu and gave us so many recommendations that we already knew we would have to come back. Joelle returned and asked if we were ready to order. We said no but wanted to start with a dozen oysters. After the oysters arrived Joelle returned and asked about our order. We ordered a 14 oz bone in dry aged ribeye, scalloped potatoes and green beans. While we waited for our meal, Joelle kept checking in on us without hovering. She never let out water glasses go empty and was just perfect. When the steak arrived, it was split table side and served to us individually. The sides were served family style and a generous portion. The steak was cooked to perfection and tender as can be! The potatoes were perfectly seasoned and I think the beans were finished with a drizzle of olive oil that was delicious. Throughout the meal, Joelle continued to check on us and my wife made the comment that she never stopped by when we had food in our mouths. I finally had to comment to Joelle, anyone can bring food from the kitchen to the table, but it takes skill and dedication to be a career waitress and she had it in spades. Though stuffed, Joelle asked about dessert an we asked what they offered. We settled on I think they called it huffmans ice cream, but whatever you call it, we called it delicious. My wife said she would only eat a bite or two. She lied! She couldn't stop eating this perfect balance of vanilla ice cream, fresh raspberries, cherries and a giant chocolate truffle. Oh! I almost forgot, we ordered a bottle of Post & Beam Cabernet Sauvignon. Their wine, bourbon and specialty cocktail selections is fantastic. My wife wants to go back next week. My only warning is to go hungry, and if you are lucky enough to have Joelle serve you, prepare to leave a good tip because she is worth every penny!
