6 of us. We sat inside. The patio looked decent though. Big menu and they have specials. Looks like a typical sports bar. They had the Browns preseason game on. Server was ok. I got the chef salad. Someone else got the grilled salad, someone got the ribs, and the club sandwich. The salads were decent size. They did forget the hard boiled egg and we got it later on a dish to add. The ribs were cold and so was the baked potato. Not sure if it sat for a bit. Service was ok. She had a lot of tables. We were just one. We weren't too needy. But I would have liked more water. In town for work and it was pretty late for a Monday, but after back-to-back meetings we were looking for a local place to eat. We walked into Town House and were greeted by a few local patrons and a friendly server. My colleague ordered the tomato soup and grilled cheese with fries which she stated was good. It wasn't over the top fantastic but was a good solid choice. I chose 12 traditional wings- 6 were BBQ dry rub and 6 were Cajun dry rub- I'd say they were excellent. All 12 had a good amount of meat on them. Also, the dry rub was the perfect amount. Often you get wings coated in the dry rub or you're looking for the dry rub in the basket. The Town House hosted us for a private birthday party and I cannot rave enough about the experience we had. The room was clean and comfortable, the catering was delectable, and the staff were top-notch. I highly recommend them for events and catering. The Town House is a locally owned multi-generational family business. My father was a patron, then myself, my kids, and now the grandkids. It's your neighborhood "cheers" where friends meet. I grew up drinking here and now as an adult I can proudly say the food isn't too bad either. It's small-town, comfort food with some awesome bbq. The brisket was a little dry but the homemade bbq sauce made it great. The jalapeño corn cake was one of the best parts and the drinks were spot on. It's good. I've never had a bad burger of the 3 or 4 that I've tried. My wife loves their protein bowl and service is pretty ok, although at times it's difficult to get a refill. The food here is amazing. We have been here several times and have never had anything bad! The salads are enormous. The crack fries, buckeye pretzel bite, chips, fried pickles, burgers, etc are all really good. Fun atmosphere and ok for kids during the day. Service is usually very fast. Came in tonight l, sat at a booth and waited for a server. After 10 minutes, the waitress came to us and asked us if we were ordering food. I told her we were ordering drinks and appetizers, and she immediately told us 'can you please go to the bar, it would be easier for us.' I called to ask if they would have the Buckeyes game on. They assured me they would. We watched the first three quarters and had a great time. Then the the manager decided that he would rather watch the Florida game - this is a bar in Ohio. Literally there was an entire patio of people watching the Buckeyes game but, because Justin (the manager) wanted to watch Florida, he turned the Buckeyes off and LITERALLY said "FU" to me when I asked to turn the Ohio State game back on. I had spent over $200 there but now I am at The Locker Room spending my money instead of Town House. LITERALLY said "FU" to me...unbelievable. One of the most desirable hangouts for an underager in town as they are top notch strict on visitors being of age (strict for late night, during the day this is also a restaurant). The Town House offers cheap drinks (refer to my local photo, 2 Miller Lites and 1 Long Island for $8.50) that save this Bostonian LOTS of cash when he visits his friends down south. When on a budget, take advantage of the sign that says, "WTFOAB" which is WHAT THE FUCK ONLY A BUCK...$1 Keystone Lights? FINE BY ME. They also have some food deals like 25 cent wings on certain weeknights...not sure the exact dates and offerings, so check it out yourself. The crowd is mixed--here you'll find lots of college students (mostly of age, unless a youngster has squeezed in up the back fire escape...who would do that? NOT JEFFREY H. Ever. Well maybe once...) as well as both young and old local Yokels. You'll also find your big name games playing on the TVs, a dart board that could use some cork replacement, a modern jukebox that sticks out like a republican at a gay pride parade, and a pool table in the back with its cover on--because hey, drunk girls spill. I've been coming to the townhouse for more than 20 years now. This is a family owned bar and grill that opened its doors in 1964. This bar has had several updates since 2018, and gives it patrons a great please to eat for lunch and dinner. Also, this is a great nightlife spot, and especially on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Nice spot for lunch, food is generally pretty good. Outdoor patio improvements have been a good addition for them. The Town House has great food and drinks at cheap prices. I have been there many, many times and have NEVER seen the pool table in use other than for a "catch-all' table for the staff. They have a REAL dart board and Golden Tee arcade golf. For a really good time, go there during an Ohio State game... But get there early, or you will be standing on your feet. It's a quaint little place that is happening day or night. In the afternoon, they serve up some great lunch specials. I know this sounds odd, but I love their tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich. My husband is a burger and fries guy and thought the burger was very good. Their nachos are okay, I would like to see them improve on that. Good prices. In the evening, it's mostly a college crowd. We went during an Ohio State game once and it was packed; but great time! Although you could bring your kids in, I wouldn't unless it's during the day. I love this place to meet friends anytime but in the summertime the patio is absolutely perfect. The burgers are thick and juicy, the appetizers are great, the salads are delicious because they are served in big bowls so you can get everything mixed together (I can't stand a salad that if you stir it at all you'll end up spilling it, no chance of that here). Townhouse is a classic place with pretty good food and drinks for the price. My problem with the place is the night shift bartenders. Absolutely terrible service unless you know the bartender personally or a girl. It took me asking my friend that's a girl to order for me for the bartender to notice me.
