For one, the lights were way too bright. When the food was delivered she didn't ask if we needed any condiments. She put the plates down and disappeared.The meat was all over cooked to the point it was chewy like jerky. The best part was the vegetables and garlic toast. His French fries were good, I'd make sure she repeated back your order, to make sure I correct. I was brought sugar water instead of tea. The bartender...... a thief. Healthy build but NO looks or personality on the brunette. The bartend all by herself 01/10/2023. She hands me a miller light and takes my 20$. So... apparently the miller light bottles are 20$ But I ask. " where's my returnI?" " I give the tip"."don't just take what's not yours." I said. She said "oh I didn't give it to u? I forgot to take photos. I added it today ( January 21 st, ) we ate at George's Place January 20th aprox. 1545 hrs. I got the Gryo ( Pronounced Year-O) it was delicious. Fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded lettuce. Side dish Crinkle fries. The fries were cooked slightly crunchy on the outside, hot and soft in the middle. I requested more Tatziki Sauce. ( pronounced Ta-zeeky) I could see the sauce but could not taste it. I requested more. Our waitress Melissa kept our ice tea glasses filled. Check to make sure everything was ok. My husband ordered the Ribeye sandwich with crinkle fries. He said his was delicious. Everything I have heard about George's place is true. I would like the Tatziki sauce to be thicker and be able to taste the dill. It was thin like milk, I was not able to get any flavor. When Making Tatziki Sauce; 1.) Getting rid of excess juice is important so that you tzatziki sauce isn't watery the next day. 2. ) Combine the strained and chopped cucumber with 2 cups plain greek yogurt, 1 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice, 4 pressed garlic cloves, 1/3 cup chopped dill, 1/2 tsp salt (add more to taste) and 1/8 tsp black pepper. Living in Florida near Tarpon Springs ( Greek Village ) We were able to always get fresh Tatziki sauce, With lots of flavor. I miss one of my favorite fresh soups... Avegolemono Soup. Pronounced ( Ava-Go-Lemon-O ) soup. My husband and I will be back to Georges soon. Everything was delicious, but the Tatziki needs to be thicker and with more flavor. we ordered a chef salad and antipasto salad. The salads tasted good, but they have doubled the price be halving the salad size. It is the size of their side salad, just put on their small oval sandwich plate. It would take 2 to make a dinner salad, so at the price of $18 for a dinner salad it is not worth it. Don't order the chicken Alfredo or the shrimp Alfredo. Worst meal ever. The shrimp were neither, marinated or grilled. The sauce taste like flour mixed with water on both meals. When I told the waitress both my meal and my wife's taste bland she said everyone complains about the Alfredo sauce. They have great food, however you actually have to be waited on to actually get the food. Went there on Sunday March 21st and there were 3 families ahead of us so we sat down and waited, nothing. I saw one waitress, so I am not sure how one person would be able to take care of everyone after Church on a Sunday lunch. After 1/2 hour we left, if the waitress would have stopped by on the 4 trips past out table to say I am sorry I will get to you and let me get you something to drink we would have waited. Several choices on the menu. Cheese fries would be better with just shredded cheese. Shrimp Alfredo needs Cajun spices added. Reuben was good, but had weird bread. Had the worse experience. Ordered the buffet and a sandwich for my husband. They said I can go ahead up to the buffet. I had eaten my dinner and the waitress came over and asked if we were doing okay. I said what about his sandwich? She brought back a cold sandwich, cold fries, and sat it down walked off. We had been there for a half hour. Come on busy or not busy bringing a customer stone cold food. The melted cheese con jelled back to a slice of cheese. Walking off and expect them to eat it. That was the first time and last time that we will not return to experience this again. read more

Today was the first time I tried this place when I went in I saw the buffet, and it was the smallest I've ever seen, the pizza tasted like there was either vinegar in it or it had bad cheese, The spaghetti was fried, burnt and tasted like school spaghetti. The dressing on the salad tasted like it's been oiled down, their calzones looked good but nope, I got a mouth full of uncooked dough. I felt sick for an hour after I left I have no idea how anyone thinks they're fantastic. We told the cashier it was terrible and they acted offended, like have you tried the food, lady? The Pizza Place has got nothing on George. Staying in the Comfort Inn directly behind George's Pizza made it a convenient choice. I travel a lot but rarely write any reviews on the places I eat at but after having some of the best pizza I've ever had in my life, I felt compelled to write this. I had The Pizza Place thin crust (if you want to call it that) and wasn't too impressed after having everyone at my current place of work tell me it was the best pizza in Parkersburg. It's not, George's is. By far. I ordered a giant (16 inch) thin crust of George's Favorite add onion and beef and had (Who I'm assuming was George himself) hand it to me when it was ready and took it back to my room. I opened the box and could hardly believe my eyes! I'm used to most pizza places skimping on the toppings but that wasn't the issue here. I felt like I had the hook up even though it was my first time ever. I took one bite and literally said out loud, "Holy S***!" The crust was perfect, and although it got a little soggy halfway into eating it (despite my best efforts of trying to devour the whole thing at once) there's nothing that can be done about that since it's the nature of thin crust pizza's loaded with THAT much toppings, I will most definitely be back and recommending George's to all my co-workers, especially those who recommended Pizza Place. If there was ever a pizza that could change your life, George's Place is the place to find it. read more

My family and i ALWAYS love their food. Plus they deliver. Awe yeah. Their website and online menu i love. Pizza delivery is a thing of the past with me. Their baked spaghetti with meatballs, baked nachos, anti pasta salad and even their cocktail shrimp or even their shrimp scampi are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The delivery driver is great too. My first and only time at George's was last week at lunch. It was very disappointing. They have a large menu with items from several cuisines. Several were Lebanese, so I tried the hummus and a falafel pita. The hummis was like a thin gruel with a few whole garbanzo beans in it. It was served on a plate, so it was difficult to eat. The falafel was served with some kind of watery sauce that ruined the plate and the pita. I couldn 't pick up the sandwich. The flavor was dull. The falafel had absorbed grease from the fryer, so they were heavy and tasted like old fryer oil. The side salad was crisp and the blue cheese dressing was good. Very disappointing. read more
