I have been disappointed to now clear disgusted here for the last time. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse their employee was touching cash and then the food with the gloves on - not to mention a broom (clean...? Yuck!) The absolute most inconsistent sub place I've ever been too. The fries are good but not worth trying to get even an edible or accurate experience - Jersey Mikes and Firehouse is close by, saving the hassle and passing on bad service and fries (usually warm but look out, a cold one in the mix on occasion. visited Penn Station Subs today around 6pm. we ordered the special two can dine for $19.99. The pizza sub was mostly cheese that slid off the bun. Most important the place was dirty. we were only 2 people in the restaurant. The tables were dirty, the floor was dirty and the station where you get napkins, ketchup, etc. was dirty. I counted 5 people behind the counter doing nothing. very disappointed we won't go back. read more

Got my first carry out order here a few days back....spouse and I both got the Philly cheese steak sub. The subs tasted fine, but a little too much bread for the price. ($13.89) The French fries were grossly overpriced in a huge tub...would never have ordered that if we'd known how large the size would be. The French fries were NOT good. I didn't wait more than 10 minutes. The drink station needed a good sanitizing as well. I will likely order here again, but I do not recommend the French fries. read more

The sandiches are good but I was grossed out while watching the guy portion and cook the meat. He took the raw meat and chicken and placex them in a?bowl to weigh, he did not wash the bow or put it somewhere to be washed, he just kept using the same bowls. He had one for lunchmeat, and two others (one for chicken and one fpr bedf). however he forgot which one was which and mixed them up (cross contamination). The bowl he was using fpr beef has litgle bits of beef starting to dry out, yuck! I asked him how often he washes the bowls and he said , "every once in a while during the day." To me that is not sanitary, they should work a bit harder to not have this happen. I don't believe I will be gping back to that particular store. I do not know of that is a common practice in most of the stores but I do not think it is sanitary. read more

This is my favorite sub shop in WV. (That's not some little mom and pop shop) My brother took me to a penn station after a long weekend for my first time and, it was great! So when I drove by this one I had to stop. I always get a steak sub when I go. Today I tried the pizza sauce for the first time...., now..I'm not sure if this is a wv thing or what but this isn't to bad. I would definitely try it if I were you, but I think I'll stick to the original my self. Staff at this place was friendly and I got my food quick. Can't ask for much more than that. read more

I was visiting relatives in town and first found Penn Station on my phone one evening. I was exhausted and just wanted something quick for takeout. I ended up returning another time because i was hooked. It's a sub shop and they have a good selection of subs. They also make fries from fresh cut potatoes on-site. The fries were great - they were not soggy grease filled limp slop. They were crisp without being overcooked. The dining room looked comfortable with a good atmosphere. I took out my food to eat elsewhere but was tempted to just sit and devour it there. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. I'll definitely keep them in mind next time I visit town. read more

Have been here several times in the past and I believe it continues to decline. Went today with my son to give it another try because if done the right way this is a good sandwich. Two steak sandwiches one large fry and two medium drinks. They are Very proud of their product-$$. Sandwiches had a decent amount and quality of toppings but I had to search for the steak which was hidden by the cheese and the toppings. The steak was diced very small and the quantity was also very very small. The fresh cut fries were not frier hot and they were more like fresh cut potato pieces rather than potato length cuts. read more

Portion size generous, subs fresh, reuben is good, plenty of sauerkraut. Fries are handmade, really good, lemonade hand-squeezed, fresh lemons, fantastic. The iced tea is good, brewed well. The chicken parmesan sandwich is fair to good, not as good as the reuben. The girlfriend had the longhorn sub, she loved, it looked pleasing to me, but I never tried it. These are the only 2 sandwiches I've had, but definitely a good alternative when you've had enough of Subway. read more

I had a chicken parmesan sub and it was awful. First bite was a practically impossible 'cheese chew'. Second bite was chicken gristle. The bread sucked. And there was no flavor. I mean not even a salt flavor. The crew was professional., and the atmosphere was fine. But i see no point in returning. read more

A different take on the sub~~~ Very good ingredients and good portions. Fries are handcut and delicious. A great place for a quick lunch
