The food wasn't awful. Not necessarily the freshest I've ever had, but it was alright. The staff wasn't very friendly and it took about 20 minutes to get our food. I've been to multiple Firehouse locations prior to this in other states and it takes 10 minutes max, and most times that was for more food. Honestly this place earned 2 instead of 3-4 stars because the staff acted like it was my fault they didn't have meatballs. They acted annoyed I ordered it. I ordered a large and they rolled their eyes and said they didn't have enough. So I asked what they had enough for and they said "maybe a medium". I have no idea if this sandwich was even a medium or if it was a small, what the criteria is for meatballs on a medium, etc. But between that and the rudeness, the wait and average food I definitely don't recommend this place. Just finished our second visit to Parkersburg, Firehouse Subs for the DELICIOUS Nashville Hot Brisket on yummy cornbread bun. I loved most of their other sandwiches but when I tasted this .. wow! The bun alone is SO yummy. We've always had friendly, good service, they make my sandwich less Spicy than Paul eats his, very accommodating. They have been real friends to Vienna fire department. So good. I dine here often. The staff always welcomes me with a warm greeting. They wait is never too long, and the subs are quite good. I've never had a bad experience here. This is definitely the best sub restaurant in the area. They offer online ordering, which is great when I am in a hurry. You just place your order online, and it's ready to go when you get there. I also like that they have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. Parking is tight in front of the store sometimes, but they have a convenient rear entry way with plenty of parking. read more

I really enjoy this place. I've tried a few subs and the best are the Beef & Cheddar Brisket and the Meatball. Their meatball sub blows Subway's out of the water. It's been picture perfect every time I've ordered it. The other subs, though good, weren't as impressive. They have good desserts and I always appreciate an establishment that takes the short time to make fresh tea. I also like that they try to benefit local police and firefighters. read more

Ever since they got new management they mess up our orders ever single time. The workers seem miserable, honestly the service has really gone down hill. I'm not trying to disparage the employees but some of them just don't seem to like their jobs. Fast food is a hard job with little pay but please don't take it out on your customers and value your employees. read more
