Great food! I love their Teriyaki Tuna, it got some kicks on it, I can't eat spicy food well but this dish was so gooood. I finished the whole thing by myself, didn't even share with my husband. I was so surprise that I could find an upscale bar/restaurant that serve an Asian dish and it made well! First time in Marietta but so many restaurants here were great and 740 Social is one of them! I've been to 740 Social now a few times for dinner and once for brunch. There's no denying the beautifully designed, dark aesthetic that 740 Social has that is different from anything you'll find in Marietta. Entering the restaurant, you'll want to pull out your phone out as you're led through a dark lounge room and then through a set of red curtains into a grand dining area perfectly fit for a bar in Transylvania. There are a variety of options on their drink menu and after trying a few of their cocktails/martinis I found them all to be either too sweet or not good. Luckily the bartender knew how to make a good dirty martini. The food is basic American fare. I always enjoy a good trio, which is offered for their Mac n cheese and chicken tenders; I ordered the Max n Cheese trio which was pretty good. My husband and I both found our dinners to be satisfying. Their brunch menu, however, is inspired and deliciously executed. My family and I sat on the patio on a beautiful May morning and it was a much better experience. The five of us who dined for brunch were all more than pleased with our drinks and entrees and I highly recommend 740 Social for hip brunch experience. read more

We went to 740 on a Saturday afternoon when the place was not busy. We waited over an hour for our food. When it finally came, the chicken from one of our orders was not done so we sent it back. Another order couldn't be eaten because it was too salty. The food from all of our orders wasn't hot, as if it had not been placed under a warmer to keep the heat. They gave us a free dessert to make up for the wait time. We had heard good things about 740, that's why we went. We won't be going back again. read more

We went here for dinner before a show. I mentioned the show when making reservations. It was First Friday but service was horrible. Drinks took forever to come, water just as long. Our server would say she was checking on food but after an hour we complained to the manager and subsequently learned our order was never put in. Food is available; however, I've only eaten there the night of the opening when food was limited and the entrées were actually completely sold out. If advertised as a craft cocktail bar, the drinks should be more consistent and tasteful, along with a better presentation, and delivered in a timely manner. If I could offer a suggestion, it would be to offer less cocktail options and have the bartenders really focus and master 5 or 6 drinks total. I do love the house music, and am inspired by the vision of the new owners; however, a few enhancements could make this a very popular hang out spot for locals and visitors. read more

Really good and fun cocktail flights! Giving 4 stars because there wasn't much on the menu that caught my eye. I got the chicken risotto and it was great but I didn't think any of the other entrees sounded good. If I go back I would have to be in the mood for that dish. Also our table got the meatballs as an appetizer but they brought that out at the same time as the entree which was a little disappointing. The meatballs were very good but the bread to sauce/meatball ratio didn't make a lot of sense. We had to ask for more bread which cost extra. read more

Should've been here before now but today was my first visit. In a nutshell if you're looking for a drink this is a nice spot. If you're looking for dinner not so much. The atmosphere is different compared to other local establishments. It's nice but at the same time it's so dim you literally will get a headache if you were to try and read the menu for more than a minute or two. I held my phone light up to it to try and read. The menu is also limited but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I dined with two companions and as for our food. The pizza was solid. The Caesar salad had way too much dressing and needed blotted. The duck burger wasn't bad. Nothing stood out as 'wow' but nothing was horrible either. Prices were a little higher than the areas average but not crazy expensive. The highlight of this place was definitely the drinks. From the limited experience (2 drinks) would recommend based off today if you're going for a casual chat for an hour or so and would like a nice atmosphere to enjoy a cocktail. Service was awful, waited an hour and a half and before even getting our food we were offered to-go boxes and our check because "it had been such a long wait." Nice looking new place. Inside was way too warm for a July evening, though. Good NY strip steak, about average salad and appetizer. Not a lot of selection. Miller Light bottle was $7! Where to begin to describe our visit of Saturday, March 11th? Our server acknowledged that she had only been working at 740 Social for a week and that she was trying to juggle eight tables. While she was pleasant, she clearly had not been properly trained and did not have a strong understanding of serving. My wife and her friend ordered martinis from the bar, and I would question whether there was any alcohol in either one. The popcorn basket on the table was never refilled. My Diet Coke had no ice and was not refilled for over an hour. I asked for a straw multiple times, but I never received one. My wife's dinner salad and an appetizer for the table were delivered a half hour after being ordered. Unfortunately, neither could be eaten, as we had never received silverware because the restaurant had apparently run out. The dinners for my friend and his wife were delivered to the table 30 minutes later (at about the same time the silverware arrived). Per our server, my pizza was apparently given to someone else. My wife and our friends had finished eating by the time my pizza was delivered to the table. The waitress indicated that the manager was going to come to the table and give us the pizza for free as a result. When he came to the table, he said "How is the pizza?" and expressed a very limited apology and no offer of the pizza being complimentary. I could not offer an opinion on the pizza at that time, as it had literally been on the table for less than a minute. While most of the food was acceptable, my pizza was undercooked and was not much better than your standard frozen pizza. The waitress cleared the water glasses that we were drinking from off of the table but left the empty martini glasses and other items. While we will almost certainly not be returning to 740 Social, it is my hope that the owners review this information and address the opportunity to properly train their staff and serve their customers. read more

We were here for my daughters 21st birthday. Preparing to come was fine however once we arrived it was disappointing. Food was great but service was too slow and it wasn't busy. There were issues in the kitchen and some of our guests couldn't get the food they ordered and had to choose alternatives. Took forever to get drinks from the bar. My daughter who was the guest of honor was the last person to get her food. The GM came out to apologize but didn't do anything to compensate for the inconvenience. read more

Have been here many times and normally very good. Tonight, not so much. Drinks were fine, chicken tenders were frozen and deep fried - typical bar food. Fish and chips - two pieces of fish, basically same as Dairy Queen serves. Chips had so much seasoning on them, asked the server to ask cooks to put in deep fryer for 30 seconds to take off the seasoning. She asked for new chips with no seasoning. We waited over 35 minutes for our food to arrive, and then another 10 minutes for the second set of chips, only to have the same seasoning all over them. Told server to give them to the cooks. Let me start by saying, still try it. I know this resturant has worked hard to get opened. But, I won't lie I've been super excited about this restaurant! It's exactly what Marietta needs. The decor and what not is amazing! Service was wonderful! But we just didn't feel like the food was there :( i had the quinoa salad and i was looking for amazing flavors. It was bland :/ the sauce was good! But you got very little there. My husband got a buffalo chicken salad. Which was $11. I would consider there salads side salads. You can get a better salad at the galley for the same price and 3 times the size. :( We also got there buffalo cauliflower bites. Which were good!!! My family came here to take my daughters out for their birthday dinner. Having been here before with no issue I had no worries. We arrived at 4:30 knowing it wouldn't be that busy. Our first round of drinks took about 15-20 minutes and one was forgotten. Our appetizer came out hot and on time and we ordered dinner at that time. Our meals came out an hour and half later and were cold. Burgers were well done and apparently that's the only option because they don't ask what temperature you want. As we waited for dinner we ordered another round of drinks which ended up sitting at the service well for 20 minutes before I ended up getting them myself. Our waitress was cleaning and forgot which seemed to happen a lot during our 2 hours there. And they charged us for the one dish that we had to send back to remake. After they "remade" the dish you could clearly see that the fries that came as a side weren't even cooked. Would not recommend at all other than for good cocktails. Basically I wouldn't even feed this food to a stray dog. read more

This is a great addition to the area. Patio is nice with great SD tables. Chairs are slightly uncomfy, but the ambiance is nice. Indoors is beautiful too. Food was excellent. I absolutely love the setting of the place. It's a fancy bar. I had the special of the day (bison burger with fries) I gave it a solid 8/10. The 740 sauce is amazing with the cooked onions on it. Hit this place on a recommendation, The burger was just that, a burger, so I expected it to be good. The Buffalo cauliflower was a total surprise. If you Like Buffalo chicken bites, you will like this. A very chill environment. I can tell you the one surprise was the pizza. Ok. I've been here a few times. Once to eat the others just to relax with friends. The bar is very nice and the variety of seating settings is nice too. It definitely has a more upscale feel than most of the bars in the area. We have had different experiences each time we have gone. The gentleman bartenders seem to be on it pretty well. Not always the same with the ladies. I've always seen the owner out and about working with everyone which I think is great. The food I agree is ok but not spectacular. We are simple people.
