Wow. We first found this place when searching for a diner in the area. Bryan Place is truly not a diner. It is an absolutely beautiful restaurant. What a gem. The buffet is elegant. The food fantastic. Beautiful inside. The price was what you would expect. I truly can't say enough about it. This is definitely our hometown favorite to go to on a Sunday for brunch or for a special occasion with family.

I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. I had performed a 'coffee' search and they popped up. Disappointingly. they are NOT a coffee shop. But the building is intriguing and across from a beautiful Presbyterian Church (with a wonderful chime). I love great atmosphere. They have it.

Stopped for lunch with the kids as we were driving though town on a Friday afternoon. We decided to skip a fast food place and try this based on the yelp reviews. Such a great decision! We sat outside on the adorable porch on a beautiful afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was good and huge portion sizes. Everyone was happy. If you have time, so upstairs and shop around. The rooms they used to use when it was a working YWCA are decorated and it's interesting to imagine people staying there.

Everyone else seemed to come for brunch. We came for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Atmosphere is lovely. Nice clean attractive quiet place. I had a lovely chunky chicken salad with fresh fruit...and it was all ripe. Husband had a cowboy hamburger and said it was very good too. Service was good too. Prices were average for any cafe or restaurant.

Food was very underwhelming and way over priced. The service was ok. The decorations are very out dated.

Our Bread - a Whole Wheat Loaf, was modest in size, portioned for two. It included an Olive Oil dipping plate; however, it was prepped in the kitchen. AT first, I was a little disappointed that it wasn't created at our table, but this was extra-fine: an EVOO was folded with a freshly roasted garlic, a fine grating of great Parmesean...possibly Regianno...still...uncommonly GREAT. . For Appetizer, we ordered the Duck Wonton. The filling was great, with a medium earthy taste. Even better was the Breading and Crist. It was as Crispy as an Ethiopian Samosa or fine Panko Breading. "Yeah buddy, I really don't care if your iced tea is hand-crafted...whatever the hell that's supposed to mean." Anyhow.... The pulled pork samich was outstanding -so juicy it destroyed the bun - just the way it should. The hot sauce was mild but good and tangy. Didn't really need it though, the flavor of the meat was more than enough. Also the chicken wings. You know, you get heavily spiced and sauced wings and think, man I love this fat and skin, this salty and spicy- but you never really taste the chicken. No so here. Just spice rubbed, BBQ'd and ....they're chickeny! And meaty! Who'da thought!? Also loved the kickin beans. A unique taste I couldn't really put my finger on. Some hot pepper, little sour, some ground beef of all things- I don't know, but sure wolfed those down. Unique. Cole slaw was fine, the usual. Only bad thing were the sweet potato fries. I think they may have been made earlier and were re-heated because they were tough and chewy. Still.....I'll be back whenever I'm in town! A place not to be missed. Nice people too.
