We both had over medium eggs and home fries, while hubs had bacon too. The home fries were deep fried and had a good amount of salt. They were tasty and the eggs were well done. The only other choices were breakfast sandwiches or waffles I believe. The iced tea was ok but not as good as most places. Service was pretty decent, given there were only a few people in the place.

"Yeah buddy, I really don't care if your iced tea is hand-crafted...whatever the hell that's supposed to mean." Anyhow.... The pulled pork samich was outstanding -so juicy it destroyed the bun - just the way it should. The hot sauce was mild but good and tangy. Didn't really need it though, the flavor of the meat was more than enough. Also the chicken wings. You know, you get heavily spiced and sauced wings and think, man I love this fat and skin, this salty and spicy- but you never really taste the chicken. No so here. Just spice rubbed, BBQ'd and ....they're chickeny! And meaty! Who'da thought!? Also loved the kickin beans. A unique taste I couldn't really put my finger on. Some hot pepper, little sour, some ground beef of all things- I don't know, but sure wolfed those down. Unique. Cole slaw was fine, the usual. Only bad thing were the sweet potato fries. I think they may have been made earlier and were re-heated because they were tough and chewy. Still.....I'll be back whenever I'm in town! A place not to be missed. Nice people too.

As a pescatarian, I've never been, but after peeking at the menu and seeing some options, I decided to give it a go. We ordered takeout online and it was ready in under 25 minutes. I got the salmon with rice and green beans, along with a side caesar salad. It ended up being a lot of food and I actually got two meals out of it. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the green beans hit the spot, and while I was bummed at first that I had to get rice, I ended up really liking it. My caesar salad was also just ok. I will say that I loved how nicely packed everything was. We didn't even need to transfer our food to normal plates, what it came in was sturdy and worked well. All in all, I would totally order from here again now that I know what to expect. It's just down the street from my moms and is certainly one of the healthier options around.

I realized after we pulled up and went in that I had been to another location of this small chain before. I would equate it to a local "Denny's", the menu is largely breakfast oriented, along with other diner staples. I had a chicken sandwich with fries and slaw, my wife had a club sandwich with fries. The food is basic, but I was actually fully satisfied, with the preparation of our meals. The fries were hot and fresh, our sandwiches were well put together. Our server was a little odd at first, but warmed up as the "date" developed. She was effective and took good care of us, it was just that original vibe that had my wife a bit leery. Be prepared for the lemonade, it is tart (in a good way) but that first sip was a nice surprise, becuase so often diner lemonade is slightly cloudy sugar water.
