    Lemondrop Martini

We came to meet up with my aunt and her friends. Boyf and I sat at the bar for a drink first and I had a great Lemondrop Martini. Once seated with the others (7 of us in the back room separated by a window) we had wonderful service. A few of us shared bottles of wine and our server refilled our glasses each time she checked on us. We shared the Calamari and the Spinach Artichoke Dip to start. I had the Red Snapper entree from the seasonal menu. Delicious. This is a nice place for special occasions since it is pricy, but I highly recommend.

This little gem in downtown Newark is so nice to visit without the drive to Columbus, great food, great drinks and good staff. The service this time was a little subpar but hey, it was a Tuesday. We had 8 total for a neighborhood holiday dinner. The "new" bartender was so friendly and really made the pre dinner cocktail fun. She said she Hd just started and hopefully she keeps that enthusiasm. The ambiance is warm, holiday themed with a nice car area and dinning room. The food was fantastic and our server seemed a little timid and unsure, he was nice but we had to kind of lead him to the next step. Overall we had a fantastic meal, laughs and fun while enjoying a great meal w/ friends

Okay, date night in Newark. Love in the time of Covid. Let's talk about 1922. We managed parking right in front. The place wasn't crazy busy. Service was top notch and attentive. And fast. The food - this is what's interesting. For an appetizer, ordered the Brussels sprouts. These were done perfectly crispy - the accoutrements were a bit heavy, and I wish there were more Brussels sprouts, but damn, it was tasty. For dinner, I had the strip and broccolini, she had the baby steak and potato. Now, the meat was clearly a higher cut. It was tasty! But it could've used a little more seasoning. We both felt that for the price, it wasn't quite justifying it - while being tasty, and clearly a higher cut, it just wasn't enough to make me say "we couldn't do this at home." Let me drive home - they killed the temp, and are clearly using good cuts - except the fat on my strip wasn't rendered. Still good! Dessert - creme brûlée and strawberry cheesecake. Both were just - "okay." We weren't impressed - it was good, just not enough to justify the cost. Mixed drinks were really tasty as well. They're not crazy eccentric - no "Manhattan with hipster tears" - just a Manhattan that was perfectly made. We will be back in the future, for sure, but we have set expectations.

Highly recommend dessert, if you can fit it in! We got crème brûlée and tiramisu. Next time I'll order a smaller dinner so I'm not stuffed!

My husband and I always enjoy this restaurant. It's pricey so we only come for special occasions, but we truly enjoy the food and every staff member who has served us has always been so friendly. We always look forward to dinner here!

Normally for a birthday we will splurge and go downtown and try a new restaurant. With everything going on we decided to support local. If you haven't been please go this place is great. We've been to this location multiple times by multiple different restaurant names and this is by far the best times 10. We couldn't decide on appetizer so we just got all of them that we wanted. The oysters were fantastic and this is coming from somebody who's not a big fan of oysters. The tuna tartare was fantastic. He loves the avocado egg rolls. The dip with those is what made them. For our entree we both got filet with Oscar style. And shared jalapeno potato au gratin and macaroni and cheese. I wish the jalapeno potato au gratin had more jalapeno but it was still very good. But the macaroni and cheese was excellent. On top of that they give you some kind of garlic bread and that might have been his favorite thing all night. Definitely cost a pretty penny for all that but well worth it to celebrate a special occasion and support local.

    Happy 50th dessert!

Whether it's a mid-week dinner or a weekend hangout, they managed to nail the "elevated neighborhood gem" vibe perfectly. The Food The star of the show is undoubtedly the wood-fired pizza. You can taste the authenticity in the crust--perfectly charred with that signature smoky finish you can only get from a real wood oven. The toppings are fresh, and the balance of flavors shows they aren't just making pizza; they're perfecting it. On the lighter (but equally delicious) side, the fish tacos are a standout. It's rare to find a wood-fired joint that treats seafood with this much respect. The fish is always flaky and fresh, complemented by bright, crisp toppings that make for a perfect contrast to the rich, smoky pizzas. The Service What truly sets Elliot's apart, though, is the bar staff. The service here is consistently top-notch. The team is incredibly knowledgeable--whether you're looking for a specific craft beer pairing or a recommendation from their cocktail list, they know the menu inside and out. It's the kind of place where the staff makes you feel like a regular from your very first visit. Final Verdict: Excellent food, a great tap list, and a team that actually knows their stuff. Elliot's is easily a 5-star experience.

The food came out fast, which was great. The pizza was decent, and I ordered the meatball sub, which was good and satisfying. It's a nice spot overall, relaxed and easy for a casual dinner. Nothing stood out as a major downside on this visit--just a straightforward, pleasant meal with quick service and solid food.

I was looking forward to trying a couple beers listed on the website, but they were not there. My BLT was delicious, but the "avocado" upcharge was really just an avocado sauce, not real avocado. Most irritating though, the waitress brought us our check while I was only halfway done with my meal - I didn't ask for it and was clearly not ready. My friend commented to her that I still was thinking of getting a boozy milkshake. She didn't get the hint that maybe we weren't ready for the check, and just asks me which one I want. I was planning that as a dessert, so I stared at my half-eaten meal and told her that I'd like to finish my meal first before thinking about that. I haven't felt so rushed in a restaurant a long time. My friend told me that he goes often and had never had that experience before, so we'll try it again - and get a real burger.

We had a group of 6 and they had no problem sitting us with no reservation on a Saturday. One of the employees was able to get the Georgia game on and I was happy as a clam watching football and drinking beer. They even had a THC friendly lemonade that was delicious! If I'm ever in this area, I'll be stopping by just to have another pour of that! The food was excellent. I would compare it to an upscale bar food. My wife and I got the pretzel which was very good paired with one of the lagers. They even brought out extra cheese which was very kind. The wings were excellent too. I would absolutely recommend them if you're a wing connoisseur.
