My experience here was great. They've clearly stepped up their game in Breezewood, as I had some poor take-out experiences in the 2010s traveling back and forth from NJ to OH. Lightning fast, friendly, attentive service from our waitress, Raven. The food was tasty and above the quality at most other Bob Evans, including the old standby, the Chicken 'N' Noodles, and the new Steakhouse Salad I had. We were offered drinks to go (always helpful for the Turnpike trek home), and the General Store that they have here was very well stocked - great items for gifts, souvenirs, etc. I don't know what more you could want for a nice place to get a meal while traveling.

Located in Breezewood before entrance of PA Turnpike. Food was good. I ordered a burger and fries. Burger tasted better than it looked. Waitress was courteous and kept our drinks filled. Restaurant was clean and well kept. Many tables and Spence between tables and customers was good. Good place to eat before traveling on the turnpike.

Reliable stopping place for wayfarers. They serve breakfast all the time, which makes for a vegetarian option. Our server was very welcoming and helpful. Our food arrived quickly. There's lots of comfortable seating. Although I'm not a fan of chains, this is a safe bet for travelers in a sea of fast food joints.

While I was half way through an early morning drive which was several hours long, I stopped in here for a quick breakfast and cup of coffee.  I had never been to a Bob Evans like this, as this one has a full store in the front, similar to a Cracker Barrel.  When I went in, there were two girls standing at the cash register and no one at the podium where the hostess would be, so I walked up to them and asked if I could be seated.  One girl, the cashier was very rude and pointed to the podium, telling me to go stand there and she then walked out from behind the cashier and took me from the podium... Very odd behavior. Once I was seated, Kenzie was my server and she was GREAT!  She was very friendly, helpful and quick.  I ordered their Country Biscuit Breakfast and it came out piping hot and fresh within 5 minutes or so and it looked excellent!  It tasted GREAT too!! The restroom was mostly clean, just had a nasty smell to it.  The place is rather dated, but I did see a "30 year anniversary" sign on the wall, which they apparently recently celebrated. In all, I was in and out within 20 minutes from when I got there, so I definitely appreciated them being quick to help out!  Again, Kenzie's great service deserves special notice, because if it wasn't for her, I would be giving 2 stars instead of 4.

Very Pricey, food and gift shop both. But you get a good bit for your money. Service is very slow and under staffed.

Good solid stop for breakfast. Dining room is clean and well lit. Food and service are on par for this chain. And they have free wi-fi!

Pricy. Food wasn't good. Slow service. We will never eat at a Bob Evans again. They weren't even busy.

If you follow my reviews, you know I'm a fan of old-school diners, the classics, and honest home-cooked food. Summit hits all three marks, serving straightforward and delicious American standards since the 1960s. The three-egg omelet loaded with veggies and sausage was exactly the pre-ski power-up I needed. My son stuck with his go-to breakfast burrito, and my daughter went with the classic two eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Everything was spot on. The staff has just the right level of "WWA"--Waitresses With Attitude. They are perfectly polite, but they hold the line on proper behavior and will quickly put anyone in their place if they step out of line. It keeps the environment grounded and authentic. A few tips for your visit: * Seating: Expect to wait for a table in the lobby or outside during peak hours. * Payment: Bring your wallet--this is a cash-only establishment.

Located on a hill - plenty of parking across the street. The restaurant is inside an older style home but it still has nice space, and is very quaint, quiet and intimate. Low lighting and just a very cozy atmosphere. The time of your reservation is the time of your seating so coming early doesn't mean you'll be sat early. Ordered a mixed drink from the bar and a half bottle of some wine for the table. It is a fixed price menu, but there are some very good options that cover a lot of different flavors and tastes. For an appetizer I went with the special soup: French onion - which wasn't the traditional kind with the cheese melted over the bowl. Instead it was a piece of bread with melted cheese in the soup. Not my favorite presentation I've ever had of this dish - but the flavor was good. Also tried the fried green tomatoes - which were good. Really liked the pimento cheese under the tomato slices and the other garnish sauces on the plate. For my entree I chose the filet mignon. It was paired with mashed potatoes and a cream sauce. Steak was ordered medium, parts of it were definitely rare. Still very good. Added a side of mac and cheese which was very creamy and good. For the dessert, I opted to go with the carrot cake. Probably the best dessert I've had in recent memory: cake was moist, the topping was a very sweet cream cheese and caramel drizzle. Overall, this place was very good. Our waitress was very personable and talkative, providing ideas and taking the time to make sure our experience was normal and comfortable. Would highly recommend here.
