a pizza with tomatoes, chicken, and spinach

I would say this place is great for a lunch as opposed to a dinner although they did have a limited menu for dinner when we were there. I think that the crab flat bread was great and truly its shareable. I would've liked to had a drink but i figured with the recent drop in temp and us all seated outside by request, i would just have been too chilly. I love Brie cheese so the panini was the obvious choice. It was great an the salad came with it was light enough so that I didn't leave feeling stuffed. I love the plates and the glasses for some reason. A really cute vintage teal and copper dusted look. Obviously one of those things you wont ever be able to find. The wait staff was great with constant Diet Coke refills. I would've liked to maybe had some hot tea. I just think this place, again, is better for a smaller group and lunch as opposed to a big group and dinner. Cute place, love the patio setup. And view. Staff was nice and courteous. I bet without a limited menu it would've been better.

Had dinner here during a celebration and wasn't aware this place existed until today. There were 15 of us, outdoor seating overlooking the golf course. Was a limited menu but it mostly covered the bases - sandwiches, salads, steak and salmon. I settled on salmon - ordered it medium which I think has only ever been asked of me once in my life. Came with a vegetable medley and a Sumer cucumber salad. For an appetizer we whiffed on ordering but we're able to try the crab flatbread. It was good. Light enough to carry to the entree but still filling in some regards. Tried the desserts - again not sure when they were ordered, and left. Can get cool on the patio so I would bring a yacket. Overall good. Would return.

This is a bad picture of the sandwich, but just to show the size!

Stopped here on our way to DC looking for something a bit nicer to dine at than a Wendy's and found this spot at the Omni resort! About 8 minutes into town but well worth the drive. The menu is a bit limited but the options were definitely enough for us. I got a "clubhouse 'club'" with fries it was about $14 or $15 but the sandwich was enormous, had an extra piece of bread in it, and there was so much meat, I could only eat half! Service was very very exceptional, especially the wait staff. I will say that we were told it was "casual" dress code but I would recommend maybe dressing a up a bit just so you don't stand out like a sore thumb among all the people that are there for business or weddings.

    Club with fries. Great!

Went here for lunch today. It was great. I loved the atmosphere, Morgan our bartender and the food. I had the club with fries and some onion rings. They were both great. Lots of good drinks too.

Been here twice..Huge sandwiches that I would recommend. Salads are however the most insulting portions I've ever witnessed and for $12-$20.

I ordered the French dip which was amazing (beef sandwich with Au Jus dip). Trust me- get this! The surf and turf burger was alright- though we may be tough critics because we are from Maryland and love our lump crab cakes! The crab cake was a little extra fishy tasting but the burger and fries were good! Oreo cake was delicious and the Eggnog Martini was spectacular! We also tried the Hot Apple cider cocktail with spiced rum which was yum. Sadly women's bathroom soap dispenser was not working though. If you're there, check out the gift shop. I would come here again on our next roadtrip up north!

I had lobster ravioli and the oatmeal pie, which were delicious. They also have a little gift shop next to the tavern, which has some very nice gifts and decor for purchase. I purchased a couple Christmas ornaments. The gift shop building also has a big fireplace so it is very warm and cozy in there too!

It was a quick trip, so we managed to keep our little ones entertained. Frontier Tavern is a great option if you have kids since it's the more casual restaurant on property and has a variety of seating with a more lively atmosphere. They also offer an extensive kids menu with crayons so they can color and stay entertained. The main issue we had here was that the service wasn't really the best. We ordered our son's meal and repeated it at least 3 times since we've been working on getting our son to talk to servers. However, our son's meal came out first and it was completely wrong. The server was apologetic, but it also made it hard when the rest of the meals came and he had to watch us eat ours. The main entrees for me and my partner also came out cold. My partner got the shaved steak and cheese sandwich, which was soggy and just okay. My meal was also okay, the pulled pork sandwich but felt like it was drowning in sauce and was also served cold. Our daughter ordered the French Onion soup and she also didn't love it since it didn't taste as good as others. I'm not sure what that means! She is only 5 but clearly has elevated tastes! Finally, we asked for some other sides and our server pretty much forgot all that we asked. He was friendly but just not the most attentive. In the end, it was an okay experience and we'd probably go again. But it's a high price point for this area and had much better service at the other restaurants on property.
