Stopped in for lunch with coworkers on the road. It's not too far from the turnpike exit and nice to drive into town (street parking). It took awhile to look through the menu but only because you want to read the great descriptions. The burgers were really flavorful. The turkey and cheese on a pretzel bun was dry. Fun decor and welcoming staff. We will be back for sure.

We love this place & everything we've had has been amazing. We especially love their handmade potato chips that come with every sandwich. The Ruben is our hands down favorite but salads are fresh too & servings are always generous. Do yourself a favor & take the short drive into this charming town for a good meal at Bad Boyz!

On our way from Lancaster to Pittsburgh area we decided to stop in Bedford for lunch. Yelp reviews helped me pick this place and I was not disappointed. Located in the city with street parking it was easy to find. Darker inside but clean and we had decent service. The menu was unique and had interested and elevated food combos. Prices were fair. I ordered a chicken sandwich on Texas toast and it was delicious. A side if house made chips were included. My friend ordered Cincinnati chili, which she said was not authentic but otherwise liked it despite its false advertising. We were both intrigued by a Creamsicle cheesecake only to be deterred by a $8.99 price tag which is surprising given the fair prices of everything else. Next time I'm in Bedford I'd definitely stop again.

The food was good and hot but I wish I got more of a serving of fries especially when I had to pay more for them. I enjoyed the server. She was nice. It's a bit dark in the restaurant though but still nice and idea

This place was very interesting. Funny menu, and I think they were mostly known for their burgers.

Very much enjoyed the salads that my daughter and I had as well as the potato and bacon soup. Very cute setting, good service and cute names for the food items. The only suggestion for improvement would be to add photos to the menu because it took a long time to read what each item was because they are cleverly named after a famous movies rather than the food item name. Will definitely come back again:)

The tavern on the second floor is a really nice old place as well. They still have rooms on the upper floor, i bet it would be wild to stay here, i'm sure as old as Jean Bonnet is there has to be some good ghost stories. We live over an hour and a half away and make the drive every few months because it's so good. The service has been quick and fairly attentive. The food is wonderful, try the crispy pork (if you suffer acid reflux make sure you take your medicine!) we prefer the original, but the occasional special black and blueberry version is very good too. Also try the tomato bisque if it's available and both dips (shrimp & crab, spinach & artichoke) and if you're in the mood try the frozen piña colada. Honestly you can't go wrong with any of their food though!

The dish contained only two modest size raviolis, was smothered in sauce and tasted good. Lobster Ravioli Topped With Seafood Newburg Lobster & cheese ravioli topped with shrimp, scallops and crab in a sherry cream sauce. The seafood was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The savory flavors mixed with the fresh bread, magnifico. The salad was fresh and also tasted great. Our server was good. She did not have an inviting personality, however took good care of us. My dining partner had the bison burger and said it was "absolutely delicious." The portions are larger and prices reasonable.

Unfortunately, our most recent visit was very disappointing. We ordered the chicken wings, and they were clearly undercooked--the bones were actually cold, which was very concerning. Our server handled the situation exceptionally well and went above and beyond to make things right. We truly appreciated their professionalism and willingness to resolve the issue. However, by that point we had lost our appetite and decided to leave. While this experience was disappointing, we're hopeful it was just an isolated incident because our previous visits have always been enjoyable. We're grateful for the excellent service we received and hope the kitchen can address the food quality issues moving forward.

But this place turned out to be even better and perfectly suited for my family's needs. The photos of the restaurant don't do it justice. I was nervous it would be a stuffy, cavernous environment inside. Instead, I found it surprisingly open, with great energy and not too dark but not blindingly lit up. We got a table along the wall, where we could look out at the entire dining room as well as the open air kitchen. Our server Stephen was a real delight. He was friendly, took great photos of our family and so chatty with us. We enjoyed his energy and all his spot-on recommendations. He was also really friendly with our kids who were transfixed by his many stories of working there. My daughter usually doesn't stop talking but she actually didn't say a word as he talked about all the fun moments of working at the resort over the years. We enjoyed the bottle of wine, and were impressed that he noticed it didn't seem quite up to standards with a compromised cork. He quickly took it away and brought us a fresh bottle. The food was delicious and I went with his recommendation of the duck. My partner got the short ribs, which I was also considering. Both meals were great. The chef also sent us some amuse bouche prior to the meal along with some bread, which we quickly devoured. I would totally come back here. We had the tea service earlier in the day, which was okay. But it felt a little dead inside and the back room where it was served had a very quiet vibe. Dinner at this spot is definitely worth checking out.

I'd like to particularly recognize Michael, who'd served us twice, as well as Marsha. This is an upscale place to be sure, and prices are commensurate with the aforementioned environment. My wife and I had breakfast there thrice, and supper one. Everything was delicious. I cant comment on spiritous libations as I do not partake in them. In addition to prompt service and checking on us frequently, there were such personal touches as Michael asking if we wanted coffee to go following breakfast, and then inscribing " Thank you! Michael " on the Styrofoam cups. It is one of several restaurants within the resort, and was likely my favorite. I cant see how this is young kid friendly. I have enough trouble sitting still as an older adult, let alone a toddler or preschool youngster who have to poop with great urgency immediately upon eating. I wish there were more places like this near our home where we could go for special occasions. Check it out!

We were absolutely blown away by the quality, portions, flavor profiles, and service in this little gem. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately by a super friendly bartender named Matt. He was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. He was always checking up on us and making sure that we were always good. Service was fabulous. There's a timeline of the history of this historic building on the back of the menu. We ordered two drinks. One was an apple cider margarita and the other was a strawberry gin fizz concoction that was amazing. Both of these drinks were delicious. If we weren't driving and staying in the actual hotel above this tavern, we would have tried several other ones on the menu. Lots of creative choices that looked to be tasty based on the mix of ingredients. For the food - the menu was enticing and extensive. Lots of creative things happening here. The app we decided on was the Parmesan crusted Brussels and boy did they not disappoint. Absolutely delicious. We opted for The French Dip with fries and some magical au jus and a Union Smash burger with fries for our meals. Both are highly recommended!!! The burger was served on this delicious cloud of brioche bun and stacked high with two patties (perfectly cooked), pickles, dijonaose, and cheese. The French Dip had the most magnificent crusty roll and tender meat. Then there are these amazing Parmesan parsley fries that are perfectly cooked and served hot! We could have eaten an entire plate of these. To go boxes were needed. Big portions. We couldn't fit dessert! The bill does come with some tasty Andes mints. Prices here are extremely reasonable! I can't stress enough about how absurd it is that this small town has such a hidden treasure of a place where the food is beyond amazing. This place is a full package.
