While traveling our friends ate here about 5 weeks ago. They liked it so much when we joined them they wanted us to eat there with them. They even asked for the same waitress Kelsey! She was great. We started out with the beef quesadilla as appetizer. The strawberry salad with chicken was delicious. The guys had Michael's lunch and loved it. The home made chips & fries were a little spicy but the guys loved them. There are great posters on the walls of movies & TV with Bad Boys. Allow about 10 minutes to read the menu. It's fun. It took awhile to look through the menu but only because you want to read the great descriptions. The burgers were really flavorful. The turkey and cheese on a pretzel bun was dry. Always stop here when traveling between Pittsburgh and Philly. I was with three other family members, and we arrived at noon on a Thursday to find a near-empty dining area. Nonetheless, we had to wait a few minutes for someone to come from the back to seat us. The dining area is very clean, and the decor and menu items are all themed around notorious television, movie, and historical "Bad Boys." While some of this is rather dated, it still makes it fun. Three of us ordered the Folsom Prison Blues burger - two medium rare and one medium well. Our fourth party member ordered the Nancy Pelosi fried chicken sandwich. We also ordered The Fonz-aaay! mozzarella sticks. The burgers came with fries. The sandwich with house-made potato chips. The mozzarella sticks were clearly frozen and dropped in the fryer. Good mozz sticks are tough to do no matter what, and these were just passable, tasting a little of freezer burn. The marinara with them was okay. The half pound burgers here are the star, and this time did not disappoint. All three burgers were at the correct level of done-ness, which can be a challenge when doing both rare and well in the same order. You can tell the burgers have been grilled, as they have that fresh off the grill char and smokiness. The blue cheese used on this burger is creamy and very tasty. Bacon was crisp and the green peppers added a nice crunch. The fried chicken sandwich was done nicely and the chips had a great Maryland Old Bay seasoning on them. The french fries were thick and crisp but not overdone, and have a secret blend of spices (including red peppers flake). The portion size is just enough to accompany the burger. Once we were seated, our server was ever -present, refilling drinks or asking how the meal was. Overall, this continues to be a must stop when traveling the turnpike. read more

Ok, I don't like to give bad reviews, but...on this night it was bad! My friends and I stopped in, and we were seated, and after 20 minutes, and numerous wait staff passing by, my friend asked one "can we get a waitress?" She said yea, and 10 minutes later, our waitress came to the table! We ordered drinks, waited another 10 minutes, then they brought them out. We ordered, and I asked not to have the spicy Mayo on my burger, because due to some medical issues I can't handle spice, but when she brought the food out not only was the spicy mayo on, but after I took a bite, and got lit up, she came back and said the burger meat had jalapenos and tobacco sauce mixed in! This was NOT on the menu! If I said I can't handle spicy mayo, why wouldn't she tell me that piece of info about the meat! Another thing is I ordered onion rings, and was brought fries. They told me to pick a different sandwich, and I'm not trying to be chincy, but they didn't even comp the replacement sandwich! A couple came in way after us, sit across from us, and in less than 5 minutes their server was there and they got their food before we did! I can understand if the place was packed, but we were one of 3 groups in the whole place! On the plus side, the food was tasty, my second sandwich was very good, and the rat pack appetizer platter was very good, especially the fried pickles, and maybe it was an off night for the server, but it was not a good experience! read more

Good wings, good beer pours, good service, and good food in general. Definitely one of the only places in this small town that didn't need a reservation months ahead of time to sit down at. Definitely dive bar energy. Great for a group, came here 6 deep. Our server looked over worked, but was very nice and apologetic about the wait on drinks and food - it was really not a big deal. Great list of cocktails and good beer selection. Opted for a healthier salad, but the thai chili wings were a real highlight. Split with a friend, they were crispy and sweet and spicy. My salad was quite good and the quality of the protein was nice as well. Food was really good the menus on the website need updates because prices have gone way up For two kids meals with drinks two adult meals with drinks I spent $107. I also suggest putting that the seasoned fries and the boneless bites are spicy our server forgot to give us silverware and when I ordered chips with my medium rare burger instead I got fries and a medium well. when I waved him over to talk to him he started my way but a female server who was on and off her phone the whole time caught his attention and pulled him away I then had to wait 5 minutes before he returned to the table I also reminded him that my daughter had ordered a salad instead of fries to go with her tenders and It was almost forgotten had I not reminded him that she ordered it.when taking our drink order I asked for light light ice In my drink but it was more ice than drink and for a place all about movies and stuff there was a severe lack of black actors wether it was on the menu as a food or on the wall as a picture there was none but the worst thing in my opinion is the fact that there was two small children sitting at the bar during business hours their ages probably looked like 6 and 10. read more

On our way from Lancaster to Pittsburgh area we decided to stop in Bedford for lunch. Yelp reviews helped me pick this place and I was not disappointed. Located in the city with street parking it was easy to find. Darker inside but clean and we had decent service. The menu was unique and had interested and elevated food combos. Prices were fair. I ordered a chicken sandwich on Texas toast and it was delicious. A side if house made chips were included. My friend ordered Cincinnati chili, which she said was not authentic but otherwise liked it despite its false advertising. We were both intrigued by a Creamsicle cheesecake only to be deterred by a $8.99 price tag which is surprising given the fair prices of everything else. Next time I'm in Bedford I'd definitely stop again. read more

The food was great! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the attentiveness of the staff. I wanted to try the hottest wings they have, the waitress warned me that it might be too hot. She was super sweet and went to the kitchen and brought me samples of the hot sauce just to make sure I was going to like it. Man! I am so glad that she brought me samples because there was no way I was going to be able to eat my food or taste it! We loved our waitress (Kelsey). She is the best! We were going to try a different restaurant but they were closed for vacation. Someone suggested we try Bad Boys Bistro. It was mid afternoon so it wasn't busy at all. As fulltime RV'ers we like to try local eateries and what a find this was. I had been craving a good burger for some time now but most places have patties like the fast food places. I had the Big Ben burger and it was not disappointing at all ..... it was FANTASTIC. Nice thick tasty patty and the toppings they put on made it even better more tasty. Pairing this burger with a beer and fries made the perfect meal. My wife had the Respectful Burger with just cheese and grilled onions. She too said that her burger was fantastic. The staff was very cordial and friendly. It wasn't busy and we had a nice conversation with our server. I wouldn't hesitate to return here for another meal. KUDOS!! read more

Now with that being said No I have not tried everything on the menu I got a steak potato and salad..Steak was low quality and flavorless My potato well... the bottom part I couldn't even cut with a steak knife!! I mean wh3n I addressed it with the server she asked if I wanted a discount. Umm. No I ate most of it but again I was trying to break it with my bare hands and still couldn't.!! When I spoke with the manager he seemed irritated that I not only spoke of how poor my service was and the potato My waitress had me and another table She ignored me the whole time (except to take my order) and talked to the other table my whole entire visit! The busser was a sweet kid he was attentive and helpful But why am I asking the manager or busser for water , ranch etc?! I did take pictures and videos When I got there there was a dirty table , floor was pretty dirty and the clean table they sat me at was sticky. I did not venture off to any where else , looks like they git a bar there... either way I've been back and forth several times since my visit and I will never bring my clients or myself there again. Just based on the service and attitude from the manager Like I said if your a local I'm sure you get great service and care but if your not don't waste your time or money!! I genuinely hate giving privatley owned businesses bad reviews but...Honestly, just a miserable experience. We came in this evening 2 adults and a child. The one younger waitress was great, smiled and seated us. The our waitress came over and was just in a bad mood. That's fine people have bad days but it felt a little like she was taking it out on us. We sat for a good 10-15 minutes before she came back with drinks then another 10 before we ordered food. We were one of 3 tables in the place so being busy was never the problem. Wordered a bowl of their Smoked Gouda Soup and got what could only be described as Tomato Bisque. Not sure where the smoked gouda ran off to... Then we order a medium-rare ribeye steak (the price was under marked, we asked how much she said $25-ish dollars). Also, a burger and a chicken sandwiche. She took another 15 to 20 min to bring the food and i asked for a side of mayo for the burger. The steak was extra-well done and dry as a bone, then after waiting for 15 minutes for our the mayo (or for her to even come back to check on us) we just asked for the check and a box. I guess I'll warm it up and eat it at home. Finally after another 10 min we flagged down the younger girl and got her to get us our check. When we did the steak was $34 We could have had a great meal and been in and out in under 30 minutes, and ended up taking a solid 1 1/2 hours. I hope for the best for the restaurant but your server needs replaced. read more

Very much enjoyed the salads that my daughter and I had as well as the potato and bacon soup. Very cute setting, good service and cute names for the food items. The only suggestion for improvement would be to add photos to the menu because it took a long time to read what each item was because they are cleverly named after a famous movies rather than the food item name. Stopped here when we found Jean Bonnet was closed on Sundays. But it turned out okay as Bad Boyz was a great find. Nice place, moderate sound level. Very good service and an entertaining menu. I laughed thru the whole menu. But don't let the funny names fool you. The food was delicious. And an ample serving that you will probably have to get a doggie bag. Burgers were huge. And the salad was great. The steak on top made for a great meal. This will be our new stop when we go thru Bedford again. read more

Great restaurant in Bedford, Pa. Only 2 miles off of the PA Turnpike, if you're on the road traveling, or will drive for food like me, this place is worth it. Big, expansive menu, a little bit of everything for everyone. An awesome, quirky menu. I got the Napoleon, Nothing short about this sandwich. You'll need both hands to eat it! When me and my friends walked in we were immediately met with a rude member of staff who took 10 minutes to seat us. After we finally sat down, we were given menus which were so weird. They are filled with just some really offensive and irrelevant things, like the "Fidel's Secret" sandwich, among other things. Took me another 10 minutes to read through all the descriptions and figure out what the food actually had on it. Once we ordered our food, we waited about an hour and a half for it to arrive, and it didn't all come out at once. Our waitress informed us halfway through our long wait time that they were out of something we had ordered, so we waited another half hour after some people's food came out for the food that replaced what they ran out of. The food was decent, but seriously it is not worth this wait. There have to be better places, any fast food place would be similar quality with a much better wait time and frankly a better atmosphere. Skip this place. read more

Neat little nugget of a bistro tucked into downtown Bedford. Great food, interesting names for the dishes come from movie themes, which aligns with the decor. I had the Reuben sandwich, but forgot to take a photo until it was half gone! The rest of my party had the wings (great wings!), the taco salad (Named after Cheech and Chong, I think?), and the Pittsburgh steak salad, all good. Very reasonable prices too! Food here is a 5 and service is a 3. We waited for 10 minutes to be seated which was fine because we were acknowledged. But once we were seated it was 15 min before our server came. It wasn't really that busy. I ordered an appletini because it was grey goose but it was warm which was weird. RJ ordered the Rebel Reuben and asked to substitute coleslaw for sauerkraut. I ordered the Tricky Dick Wrap which was chicken tenders in buffalo with Asiago cheese. We both ordered fries. It took about 30 minutes and when it finally came, no fires. We asked again for fries and Amanda said oh right I'll get them. Fries never came. I get the whole kitchen in the weeds when there isn't enough help thing, but not when it's not that busy. And it doesn't explain why we never got our fries. But the food was excellent. I saw several things on the menu I would try. All we wanted was a quick, satisfying meal. We decided upon this establishment based off of the seemingly positive Yelp reviews that praised them for good service and great food. I was beyond disappointed to find that the service was absolute trash, and the food was incredibly average. Our experience began when the hostess at the door was rude about our larger party number (12 people, in which we offered immediately to split up to make it easier for them). Upon being seated, we read the menu, which is extremely wordy and hard to comprehend. The most basic menu items were hard to find. The menu offers extensive paragraphs that often do not describe the item in the slightest. It took the server thirty minutes to bring us drinks, and they were 75% ice. We ordered, and then waited. When asked questions about the menu, I was able to answer more questions than our server. Thirty minutes after we had ordered, the server returned and told us she had run out of chicken tenders. THIRTY MINUTES AFTER WE ORDERED. Our food came out late to begin with, but the rest of our party was finished by the time the chicken tender-less people's food arrived. I ordered the nachos, and they were the definition of mid. It was literally Tostito chips with nacho cheese. And it took over an hour to come out. I could have made it myself. Overall, we spent THREE HOURS at this restaurant. Other parties around us got seated, served, and left frequently while we were waiting. We were excluded from a level of transparency and never apologized to for the terrible service. The families of these servers must have written these positive reviews, because we had a terrible experience. I would not come here again if a gun was being held to my head. read more

Great place to eat! Good atmosphere and the food was amazing. There was so much stuff on the menu, I didn't know what to choose. There were tons of locals eating here as well, so you know the food is great. We asked the waitress for recommendations and were not unhappy at all! I was still trying to decide what to order when I heard the construction worker behind me order the "Cheech and Chong." Immediately I scanned the extensive menu to find out what that was all about! It turned out to be a delicious taco salad that is served in a homemade taco shell. I tried to eat the entire thing but couldn't. I wish I could have taken it home in a doggy bag--it was THAT good. I'm going to split the difference here and go 2 stars. My meal was 3, my hubs was 1. We ordered: Guinness and Seasonal drafts. My only issue here was the price. $7 drafts? DC prices? In bedford? Ok. On to the food. We were looking forward to trying the wings, but at 12pm (to be fair on a Wednesday) were told the wings 'weren't ready'. I appreciate the love they put into them, but not being ready for a normal lunch time ( I would understand more if we had arrived at 11am) is odd to me. For mains, because wings were off the table, we ordered the korean wontons. They have this mislabeled because a wonton is a dumpling and these are not dumplings. They are sort of tacos topped with sauced lettuce instead of a korean topping like kimchi. The 'cincinnati chili' is also wrong. Cincinnatti chili tends to be on the sweeter side, is served over spaghetti noodles and topped with cheese. This was just blah chili over macaroni noodles and no cheese. I ordered the twisted sister sammich. They were out of the pretzel bun so I asked for a normal bun. I ended up scraping off most of my mayo, it was billed as red pepper mayo, but it was definitely regular mayo with like 4 diced pieces of a red bell pepper. After that though, i enjoyed my sammich! chopped up chicken, the cheese was melted, not too much bacon and the homemade chips were *excellent*. Last note, this part of the US is currently not masking as of 10/6/2021. Take that with whatever comfort level you have. read more

We went to this restaurant as it was suggested by our hotel. It looked nice enough. It's already going downhill when it took quite a while for the waitress to show up to even get a drink order. There were three of us the in the party. We all got the paradise burger. All ordered it to be cooked medium rare. All of them came out extremely well done. All the french fries were cold. The onion straws on the burger were refrigerator cold. The burgers were supposed to have jalapeños, none did. One person ordered a martini. He described it as the worst martini he has ever had. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Cassandra was lovely. She provided excellent service and even greeted my daughters. The food was excellent. I ordered the napoleon brisket sandwich and it was great. We received our food timely and the only small issue was correctly promptly with Cassandra having our backs. I would definitely dine again..definitely requesting cassie. read more

We stopped here and ate as we were traveling from Virginia to Rochester, New York for the eclipse. We wanted to go to the Flight 93 Memorial so stopped for the night in Bedford. We were intrigued by the menu of Bad Boyz so we thought we would give it a try. The food was really good! My husband's burger was delicious. The atmosphere was very small town, which we love. We came upon BBB by accident & what a fabulous meal we had tonight. They are open Mondays when a lot of other restaurants are closed. Lucky for us!! Our waiter Wesley was excellent! Then we found out he'd been the 'host' there for quite some time but tonight was his first time as a waiter. He should be a trainer for many food servers we've had at many other restaurants. After talking with Megan, another server, also very personable, learned that he was just 16 & a senior in High School. Megan trained him! Great job Megan! The food, wonderful. My Reuben was superb & the guys each got a ribeye steak. They both said it was juicy, done as they asked & the flavor was so good! Fresh broccoli & baked potatoes were good as well! We also had 10 BBQ meaty wings & onion rings. All in all, perfect. And, the 'unique & interesting descriptive' menu items were on point & comical. Visited here for dinner as we were traveling. It is 2 miles off I76/I70 but worth the detour! Arrived about 4PM on a Monday and quite a few tables were full but we were seated quickly. Staff hustled, but they appear to be understaffed, but other than having to wait longer than most places, it was fine...they checked on us a couple of times to ensure all was OK. And it was....we both had the Italian Stallion (cheesesteak), one had the chips the other the fries. Chips were ok...fries were tasty. Sandwiches were quite good..... not dry like one so often gets. Overall a good meal in a cute town. They do have a varied, and humorous menu and specials are written on a chalk board at the hostess stand so be sure to look!
