One of the cleanest Wendy's I've been to. Easy to access with a nice parking lot. Was easy to order, got a Cobb salad and a vanilla frosty. The salad was pretty good, there were a couple of pieces of yucky lettuce but just got rid of those. The meats were warm and other ingredients were fresh. The frost always hits the spot. I kept putting off eating on my way back from a trip and before I knew it I ended up in Bedford. I got off the Turnpike and ended up right at the intersection that brings you to this Wendy's location. I do have to say that the lot is a bit awkward. Even though it is a busy commercial corridor the Wendy's sits at the end of an awkwardly unfinished dead end. However, they make good use of the space. I came in here with the intentions of having a quick meal, and I have to say, it happened. My order was placed, I got exactly what I ordered and sat down to begin eating. In my usual fashion I ordered too much, but that's not always a bad thing. I just had some to take home with me. The lot allowed for me to take a few extra seconds before I headed home. read more

We like their Frosties and burgers. We are not into all of the double burgers with bacon and I the like, The chicken is just okay. The service varies by location and is what you expect from a fast food restaurant. The ambiance is typical of fast food restaurants. Tables and booths are cleaned on a regular basis. read more

Wonderful staff. I called to make sure they were open on Dec 23rd and the young man who answered was so kind and bubbly and gave me all the hours including the schedule for the 24th. I'm not sure why this Wendy's has suck bad reviews? I've stopped here twice recently and had a good experience both times. It's located right behind the sheetz off the Bedford exit. The parking lot is nice, no long drive they lines, and easy to get to. Both the dinning room & bathrooms were well kept. The employees were friendly and got our order correct each time. The line inside was long, but it moved quickly. I used to manage a Wendy's years ago, and it appears this one is doing everything right. I could recommend this Wendy's to anyone passing through. read more

I usually stop here when driving across PA on the Turnpike. The restaurant is old and needs to be remodeled, but the bathroom and dining area are usually extremely clean. On my most recent stop, the fries had a weird metallic taste, which was a little scary. read more

If one has watched TV lately Wendy's has an ad for its ONE DOLLAR biscuits w/ either bacon or sausage, with some jock we are supposed to [but I don't] know, proclaiming how great these breakfast items are -- only that Jock obviously never visited Bedford Wendy's who will not serve these. Their national hdq hides behind the "at participating restaurants" only -- but a customer has a most reasonable expectation that the national HEAVILY advertised promotions are available at all their outlets. But you can bet they offer the $3 breakfast items! "Oh, No, we don't have the $1 biscuits, but we have the $3 ones." You can bet there is no sign saying "NO! we are not a participating outlet." Theirs are better than, priced somewhat lower than, Mickey D's, and I certainly prefer their fries and hamburgers to Mickey D's -- BUT I will NOT participate in bait and switch. A pox on their house! I ordered one combo, they got it wrong, and were unapologetic when asked them to correct it. Actually, I got dirty looks! This is a halfway point for me in a lot of business travel from Pittsburgh to Philly. I have stopped here a few times. Glamorous? No but I've also found it to be clean with friendly staff and easy in/out from the highway. They have good salads and decent variety on their menu for a fast food place. This place is just gross, even by fast food standards. The scary bit was noticing an odd taste in the ketchup that we got from the dispenser, and when I asked the clerk for packets instead, he asked if we didn't like the ketchup in the dispenser... I let him know that it tasted a bit off, as if it were old, and he just laughed it off and stated that "nobody likes it". Well, maybe that should be your hint to clean the f'ing thing! But even the packets of ketchup tasted off, so maybe they're just not storing this stuff properly, or they're using decades-old packets. Aside from that, they weren't very busy but still took way too long getting our order and everything was just sort of slopped together with seemingly little to no effort. Horrible service. Went inside to order and after they took my order they shooed me away to the other side of the counter to wait for my order. Naturally I expect them bring my food down to my side. Nope! They left it on the opposite side of me, around a crowd of people talking and coughing over my food and then started taking orders on my side of the counter. When I told the cashier I was waiting for my food, she looked past me and continued to address other people. It's as if I wasn't even there. And then once I got my order it took them 5 minutes to make sure I got everything I ordered. I know fast food isn't easy work, but there's no need to make it this difficult. Very poor customer service.. Customers standing in line staff is joking around behind counter not taking orders.. Waited a very long time for our simple to go order and very disorganized.. Manager was at counter and did not greet customers or take any orders to provide any good customer service.. Burgers and Fries were to salty to eat not to mention cold.. This was my worst fast food experience in general. The restaurant dining area and bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, even the order counter was covered in gunk. Their system here for orders is awful as well. There was a very long line. There was 1 on the register and 4 guys in the back, with the long line an employee was still let off for the night to stand in line and wait to order as well. Instead of the cashier taking a couple of orders while the food was being prepared she was just lazy. She would take 1 order, get the drinks and then stand there was watch the guys in the kitchen take forever to make the order. It wasn't until she handed out the order that she would help the next customer. When they gave us our food we were missing one and a half of our meals and no dipping sauces. When mentioned I was met with attitude by the manager. The only redeeming aspect of our experience was that they put a lot of bacon on my sandwich. This Wendy's is still one that I will never again go to. read more

I was very impressed - especially with the store manager, Chris. I brought my Life Skills class for lunch to practice their money skills and ordering. The manager worked with me prior via e-mail to set everything up and then was very accommodating during the visit. He was patient, helpful, and even stopped over and checked on all of us to see if we needed anything. Everything was perfect! read more
