Cheeseburger with onion rings.
Ronni B.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Cheeseburger, onion rings and a thick chocolate shake. The food was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent. Older country music playing at the perfect volume. So many fantastic songs that brought back beautiful memories. What a wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

The food is your standard breakfast food. It is good and comes out quick and hot. The prices are reasonable. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. And the diner has fun paintings on the wall. It is definitely our go to breakfast place when we come in to visit family.

Cute little place while passing through on the highway. I was in the mood for basic sunny side up eggs and this really hit the spot. Great hash browns! The breakfast burrito was good, and I took it from 5 stars to 4 because the coffee was not that great. But it's an authentic diner, with homemade cakes and pies, and it was the perfect stop for breakfast.

Corned Beef Reuben

Vice President Mike Pence really liked this Reuben sandwich and French fried potatoes. He was right about it. No one knows what JD Vance thought about it when he was here. His review is lost to time and space. The waitress was very friendly, and the bandleader at Kellerman's Resort couldn't top the jukebox. Bring folding money, they don't recognize wire transfers here! Back to the Rueben, it's the perfect balance of savory and sauer. I'd give six stars if the webmaster of this website would let me.

The food was very good and service was okay. Overall it was a cute, casual diner. Cash only

Gob cake... burnt sugar flavor

Phenomenal staff. Mouthwatering menu. Old school charm. What more do you Want from a diner? This place had a hot meatloaf sandwich that will buckle your knees. Their burgers looked incredible... although I resisted. Their mashed potatoes and gravy.... Flawless. Waitress sold me on a slice of burnt sugar gob cake. Yeah, it's that damn good. I'd stop here off the turnpike just to get another slice of that cake again. You have to try this place while crossing the state, it's worth every penny!!!!

Sorry I laughed way too hard at this sign!

I was attending a local festival and love eating at local diners. Summit Diner was super busy, so I sat at the counter for immediate service. The waitress was there quickly, friendly and chatty. The coffee was delicious and I ordered a western skillet withi bacon side. Loved the ambiance! The food arrived quickly (for the size of the crowd), hot and aromatic! DEFINITELY order the sausage - they make it there and oh my goodness it's delicious!! I highly recommend you stop in!

This diner is so reminiscent of a diner we loved in Baltimore-Bel Loc diner. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. Our waitress was extremely friendly and hospitable. If you are visiting the Flight 93 memorial and are hungry stop by. Their hours are 7-3.

a slice of pie on a plate with a fork

An actual diner! The food was extremely good, and I couldn't help to think that we took a step back in time. My husband loved his roast beef sandwich, and my salad was very good as well. BUT the best part was the homemade desserts, we had a hard time choosing one, but I'm thankful we decided on coconut cream pie, it was fantastic!

Love the part that says "We're going as slow as we can"

Foods ok. It's cash only. And just like every other diner their coffee is just gross. I go there and eat then go get coffee elsewhere

A nice little hometown diner, very eclectic with a lot of great music memorabilia, Great coffee, but the food is just average.

One of the past few diners still around and open. Food is good, but limited hours. (It's the new modern era )

WOW!! If you're looking for that home cooked meal made with love, and the hospitality to boot, you…read moredon't want to miss this place!!! Pat and Jen are doing this world a favor by being in business. Not only is their food amazing, but they pour their heart and soul into this business. They truly care about their customers and the delicious food they create. Amazing drive thru BBQ spot with happy, friendly owners. You're going to leave with a full belly and a love for Pat and Jen. We stopped by on a Saturday shortly after they opened. My husband got the brisket sandwich and I got the brisket Philly. We also got an order of their mac n cheese and some fruit and cream puffs. The brisket was so good it didn't even need sauce. It was tender, juicy, melt in your mouth. The Mac n cheese was creamy and you could taste that delicious smoky flavor. They gave us a piece of brisket to try before our food came out. Pat apologized for the wait, but there was no need. His conversation and hospitality was so pleasant and it was a treat getting to hear their story. Jen, if you're reading this.... The cream puffs were to die for. I didn't want to take the last bite because I didn't want it to end. The flavors. The quality. You can taste the love in everything!! I would make the trip from Pittsburgh for a whole tray of those fruit and cream puffs. Trust me when I say, you will not regret stopping by this place. If you're staying in Hidden Valley, it's worth the trip over. Support local!!
