Super nice people. Very small and straight to the point menu (that's a good thing). My husband got the Turkey Club and it was so so delicious. I got the mushroom melt which was decent (I feel like some seasoning or salt on the mushroom would help!) but sadly all the water from the mushrooms wasn't cooked out so my bread was completely watery as soon as I got in my car. However aside from that technical error I'd still come back for the turkey Club and good service! Bonus points for playing Steve Irwin on their television. read more

We love stopping here for lunch on our drive from NoVA to Cleveland. It's right next to a Starbucks and we always find parking. Any sub we have ordered has been made to perfection. We stopped there on 3/23/2025. I had a 12" club sub. The bread was toasted on the flattop. Lots of fresh vegetables. Lots of turkey. Sub was delicious. The staff was amazing. Very friendly. Foregoing the usual splash-n-dash fast food options in Breezewood over the weekend, we instead opted for a stop at this family-run sub shop. Option were on the limited side, but still plenty of different type of hot and cold sandwiches one could order. My crew opted for a Club Sub (me), portabella mushroom cheesesteak (wife) and a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on sub roll (daughter). Given all the hand-made sammies, it took a little longer than your typical shop, but the results were well worth it! I tasted all three options we ordered and was happy with how each of them turned out. Only issue we had was my sub turned out to be an Italian and not the club I had originally ordered. I'm not one to waste food, so I ate it anyway and the flavor combo was on point! They have an unusual preparation for their lettuce...super-finely shredded which I actually enjoyed a lot as the sandwich bites had less of a lettuce-forward crunch and taste. Will definitely consider this stop again, on our future travels through this rest stop area. read more

A Breezewood stop for gas and a bite and daughter was dead set on Starbucks. But I see this sandwich shop in the same building and insist on trying. That would become a very profound decision. The shop run by a husband- wife team was efficient in taking orders. I had to try the hot pastrami and ordered the 6 inch with a can of Mountain Dew. With 20% tip the total was shockingly under $10.50. The restaurant had seating inside and was clean. The restrooms... meh! No soap and the stool and iron build up that was gross. They ended up taking care of TP in women's and mentioned the soap and it was addressed. The sandwich took about 10 min or more and can tightly wrapped up. They use Boars Head meat. I ate the sandwich with my daughter at Starbucks. I'm still numb over how incredible my sub was. It was perfect in every way. Bread fresh and authentic. The meat hot, plentiful, tender and so juicy tender. The items accompanying brought it home. This hot pastrami was as legit as it gets. Before departing I went back over to thank them and share my enjoyment. 4.5 rounded up. I wish I could get a hot pastrami that good in my hood. read more

First things first. The ladies working (Sunday evening) we're not friendly and seemed annoyed that we came in Both of us made our own sub. Hubs got Turkey with his toppings. I got Turkey, ham, salami with my toppings. Normally they toast the bread for you, which hubs had - but I asked them not to toast mine. They told me that the wheat bread is "kinda hard if you don't toast it", but I still went with it not toasted. Both of us enjoyed our subs. This place is connected to a Starbucks in a new building. Ummm...was this the best sub I have had in quite some time? Yes and yes. I ordered the portobello melt on wheat with pepperoni. I took a first bite with standard expectations and every intention of only eating one half. Within ten minutes, I had consumed the entire sandwich and had drippings on my jeans. I devoured that sub. It was perfectly toasted, immensely flavorful, and quite filling without being overwhelming. This place is right next to a Starbucks and all I can say is stick with local joint. Who would have thought that one of the best sub sandwiches that I've ever had was in the middle of nowhere in Breezewood, Pennsylvania? They only use fresh Boar's Head meats and cheese, which lead to very delicious, high-quality sandwiches. My wife ordered the roast beef sandwich (very juicy), I ordered the Portobello Melt (good for vegetarians), and my son said it was the best grilled cheese sandwich in his life (his entire 7 years of existence).
