We got a Philly cheesesteak and a turkey sub and both were really fresh and well made. We went in with a toddler but just know there wasn't a changing table in the women's bathroom. Fresh, hot, yummy subs! We stopped here on a trip to Cherry Springs and were pleasantly surprised. We got the cheesesteak (we TRIED getting the chicken cheesesteak but it came out as steak) with American cheese and the beef melt. We're both piping hot and the bread was airy soft and chewy. Subplicity if you go with just the name itself sub is not simplistic the flavor combos and the way it's put together is very well done this place should be a hit anywhere and if it was a box store there will be a lying around the door if you ever get a chance to be off of exit 161 off of Interstate 76 or you're near the north Breezewood Road area you definitely need to check this place out do not go to any other place stop here first you will be amazed I had a roast beef cheddar melt type thing but when he says roast beef it's not what you picture with Arby's it is nice wonderful Boar's Head roast beef that has flavor and texture to it as well as the cheddar cheese and then the Mayo I'm not sure what Mayo it is but the onions and the banana peppers I'm not a mustard fan so I didn't get the mustard on it but man did it make my mouth water and want more if I could find a way to move this company out to our area or find a way to franchise it but of course I unfortunately would have to have him because between him and his I'm assuming wife team is probably what makes this place spectacular again if you have a chance to check it out even my picky 8-year-old enjoyed the food quite well he had the Philly steak combo again don't miss out read more

A Philadelphia, PA quality cheesesteak in Breezewood, PA (186.6 miles apart)!!! I was skeptical, but I gave Subplicity a try. Anyone travelling from D.C. going to Pittsburgh or Ohio knows about the township of Breezewood. It is a square of a place that has numerous gas stations, fast food outlets, and dingy roadside motels. It is the literal halfway point between D.C. and Pittsburgh and always a must stop. Usually a stop is for gas and fast food. (side note...the world's greatest McDonald's is in Breezewood.) On this trip I saw a sign for Subplicity and it was calling me like a Siren of Greek Mythology might call to a shipwrecked sailor. Before stopping there I thought to myself, "self, what is the worst that can happen? I eat a mediocre turkey sandwich or roast beef?" Boy was I surprised when I saw that they featured cheesesteaks. What is more, they were using fresh, prime rib-eye steak to make the sandwiches. Perfectly cooked on the ultra clean flattop with sweet onions, I felt like I was in one of the much ballyhooed Philadelphia cheesesteak emporiums. The fantastic bread was sourced from Costanzo's, a Buffalo New York bakery that makes outstanding wheat sub rolls. All the fixin's were fresh and the place was spotless. The taste of the cheesesteak was decadent, superb, and many other positive adjectives. That provolone cheese was like a mix between sharp and sweet. I ordered the half size. Big mistake, get the full size sandwich. Eating that great cheesesteak, I could have sworn that right out the window I could see the Liberty Bell or Meek Mills' Twitter fingers typing a diss reply to Drake. Kevin Hart would be in the parking lot telling jokes while Patti LaBelle was singing Lady Marmalade. That cheesesteak had me playing the Rocky theme song all the way home!!! Eye of the Tiger, (or Rib-eye of the Tiger) indeed! Located next to the town's only Starbucks and smack dead in the center of the mini "Metropolis" that is Breezewood, you cannot miss the place. Do not miss this place or pass by on the other side. They have just a few tables but I would eat the sandwich in the car if they were packed. Would that they opened a location in D.C.!!! A man can dream... . Five stars are not enough! Subplicity has well earned all the accolades I have bestowed!!! read more

I cannot get over how good these subs were. If you see my reviews I rarely give 5 stars and I definitely did not anticipate giving 5 stars to a sub place but OMG these were SO good. We got 5 different subs and every single one was made exactly as ordered and were slamming amazing! I even finished my kids subs because I couldn't toss them. The bread, the meat, the cheese... every single ingredient was just so tasty. The staff here was patient with indecisive children and were so friendly. The bathrooms were clean and they even had a military discount/special. I realize there are other sub places steps away at roadside convenience stops but please GO HERE INSTEAD! What a great little place in a sea of chain restaurants and gas stations at the intersection of several major roads. I stopped with some friends, and the whole thing was great. This is a no pretense place, so you order at the counter and they have "some" seating, but don't let that throw you. Sandwiches (I had a cheese steak) were good to very good in quality and quantity. They have a clean, simple interior and drinks come from a cooler (bottles or cans). My only gripe is the much too lively parking lot shared with a Starbucks. Overall, if you want real food, the price and quality make this a great place to stop. read more

I got the Club. The bread was terrible. It was chalky and without flavor. The turkey and roast beef were not very flavorful. The sandwich relied heavily on its bacon, both in mouthfeel and flavor. This tasted similar to a sub you would get from one of the local gas stations, but for twice the price. I understand the high rating. The person who took our order misheard/didn't properly enter one of our orders and put ingredients on that we were allergic to. When we brought it to their attention to remake the order, we were argued with, dressed down, and told repeatedly we were wrong by one of the other employees. Both adults in our party spoke with the employee, and we both explained the situation and that we just needed the order remade. Breezewood is like a some weird, crumbling, trucker's outpost in the middle of nowhere. Uninspiring otherwise for places to eat, I found this place highly rated on Yelp. It's awkwardly situated near a very busy intersection, so you need to be persistent to get here, I would advise (but its worth it!). The place itself is pretty plain I would say, but the submarines I saw and the one I had, looked and tasted magnificent!
