I miss being able to eat their noodles since they moved out of Pearlridge several years ago. We were in town and I was craving their skinny noodles so we stopped by for lunch on a Friday. There is a small lot of about 6 stalls on Beretania and unfortunately for us, they were all full. We drove to the back and there is a much bigger lot off of Kinau St. They have so many choices of noodles and rice dishes and I had a hard time deciding between soupy noodles or dry noodles. I went with the tossed noodles with won ton. It came out pretty quick and it was delicious! I like spicy food, so I added some of their chili oil and that made it so much better for me. My husband got the chicken with black bean tossed noodles. There were alot of chicken pieces in it along with some slivers of round onion. I didn't taste it, but he said some of the chicken pieces were hard. They left a pitcher of iced water on our table. Once our food came, they never came to check on us at all, which was fine since we didn't need anything. It would've been a different story if we needed something. We finished our lunch and went to pay at the counter. The egg tarts looked good so we got 2 of them: OMG they were so good! It wasn't the usual bready pie crust. The egg custard was on a super flaky, buttery crust. It was 10/10. I would definitely return when I have a craving for their yummy skinny noodles.
This place surprised me when I got the won ton mein to go. Huge won tons, and great amount of noodles, that were still crunchy like the traditional version. Add some chili and you are good to go! They have an assortment of Chinese dishes to try, and I can't wait to go back. Maybe braised beef next time!
Chef Bo and her husband, Jeffrey, started her business called Bo's Ktichen, with passion for cooking at the Ohana Hale Marketplace in Honolulu on Oct. 2018 with a tiny booth and small menu, making Cantonese =comfort food, handmade dumplings, and noodle soups. In May 2021, a 2nd location was started at Pearlridge Shopping Center, but both locations closed due to building contracts. In May 2022, Bo found a spot on So. Beretania St, which is its current location, and with time and experience, its menu was expanded. Family-owned Bo's Kitchen's popular dishes include beef chow fun, Hainanese chicken rice, dumplings, and won ton noodle soups. It makes its chicken noodle broth from scratch, and its beef brisket is braised for five hours. We've tried these and agree that Chef Bo has done her best in offering her best dishes, and many are exactly how my mother used to make her won ton dumplings and variations. Until one day, I asked Chef Bo what she recommended as another dish that I try. She mentioned dumplings with a "peanut sauce" that had a sweet peanut, satah, hoi sin sauce blend on won tons and noodles. Yes, I tried it, and nope, could not finish it. Peanut butter sauce on won tons? Nope, you can't convince me that I'm missing out on something, because I'm not. Yes, something different, but not for me. The peanut sauce is sweet, rich, and savory. Chef Bo and Jeremy are very friendly owners who are willing to please. They will take time out to talk to you to get feedback. The small cozy restaura nt is bright and clean. Hours of operation are Mon to Sat 8:30a to 10:30p and Sun 10a to 9p. Free parking available in private lot that is shared with other businesses. We wish Chef Bo and Jeremy continued success in their family restaurant! We will return to try the many dishes of their menu. Support local!
We've ordered take out from Bo's many times, but it's usually been their noodles and soup dishes. After babysitting my granddaughter, we were too tired (lazy) to cook, so my daughter ordered delivery. I opted to try the Beef Brisket with rice plate, while my daughter ordered her usual noodle soup with side orders of chicken dumplings and garlic beans. The food arrived fairly quickly and it was all still hot. The flavor of the brisket was very similar to pork kau yuk, with the slight star anise flavor. It was meaty and delicious, but I wished it was a bit more saucy. The green beans were cooked perfectly and the garlic flavor was fairly mild, and not overpowering. The dumplings were most and tender inside, with a slight chew to the wrapper; very delicious. Good, tasty Chinese food at reasonable prices.
Our 2nd trip to Bo's kitchen Here for a quick early dinner so parking wasn't a problem! Lots of seating available too. Ordered the beef brisket with rice- really tasty and beef really tender. We loved this dish - at 1st seeing the dish served with lettuce was a bit off put but it really was a nice addition. Will order it again Fried beef noodles- good but a bit too much sauce but the large pieces of beef was tasty and tender. Servers are really nice and we enjoyed our meal. We'll return soon to try more menu items. Their dumplings are excellent and can't wait to have it again!
Today, 04/20/26, I wanted to eat at Bo's Kitchen. This isn't my first visit. I have been here on several occasions and I enjoy the chicken jook. I even ordered take out of a small chicken jook to bring to my hospitalized family member. For our lunch, we ordered spring rolls, black bean beef chow fun and sesame balls. The chow fun came out first. It was hot and covered with too much black bean sauce, hence it was salty. The beef was tender but the sauce over powered the dish. 3/5 stars Then came the spring rolls and the sesame balls. The sesame balls were very hot but not fresh. Maybe it was previously frozen? The dough was oddly dry and not chewy. The black bean filling was alright. 3/5 stars Now onto the terrible spring rolls! Look at the photo and you decide what I nearly bit into! Ugh. 0/5 stars. An employee in the back of the kitchen area came forward when I approached our server with the dish. The employee (not our server) attempted to persuade me that it was either a bean or a piece of chili. She even squished it between her fingers to say it was soft. Yuck! No thank you. I had already taken a picture of the spring roll and asked Google what it was. I included Google's finding. She was concerned that I had a picture of it. I even let her take a screenshot of the picture and I showed her the Google results. Still she said it wasn't a bug. I leave the decision to our readers. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Restaurant seating area ambiance is pretty clean ( I did not see the kitchen) and interestingly the restaurant has jewelry for sale. Simple tables and chairs for patrons. Service was great until the spring rolls incident. And it didn't help that the employee kept denying that it was a bug. At least the restaurant did not charge us for the spring rolls. But now, I'm not sure I'll return again. I think if the restaurant had immediately acknowledged the situation, I would've been able to maybe accept this as a one time thing. But the employee's attitude and continued denial of anything wrong took this to another level. Service 1/5 stars. Limited free parking.
Unpretentious, bordering on "hole-in-the-wall" vibes but oh man the food is seriously DELICIOUS!! . Been three times this week and I'm still just getting started with their range of noodle and dumpling soups. Portions are generous, and every dish is hearty with depth of flavor. They clearly do a strong takeout business, too. People were constantly coming in to pick up food. Prices are fair for what you get. Parking is limited up front, but there's plenty of street parking nearby. Happy Eating!! 41

Bo's Kitchen is a great spot for comforting, flavorful local-style meals. Their Hainan chicken rice is only $15, and the portion is generous definitely a lot of food for the price. The chicken is tender and juicy, paired perfectly with fragrant rice and tasty sauces that bring everything together. Everything feels simple but really satisfying, and you can tell the focus is on good value and comforting flavors rather than anything overly fancy. It's the kind of place you leave feeling full and happy. A solid go-to if you're craving Hainan chicken rice that hits the spot without breaking the bank.
Bo's kitchen is conveniently located on S. Beretania street across of the Honolulu police station. Parking is limited in front of the restaurant but there's more parking in the back on the 2nd floor but you would have to drive around the block to get to it. We frequent this place often and today we just came here for a quick bite and got the garlic fried chicken wings, pork hash, and egg tarts... they were all so good! Staff and service are always great!
Tried Bo's Kitchen after hearing many good reviews. Tried them when they were at Ohana Marketplace and wasnt too impressed, as I witnessed their cooking was via microwave. I was happy that their restaurant had late hours. Service was great, even though there was only 1 lady working; we went late so it was fine. Food came out fast. Prices were reasonable but dishes were on the saltier side (use of saltier sauces) and simplistic. Funn with mixed sauce and wonton - interesting combo with the peanut and hoisin (?l) sauce. Decent wonton. Could use less hoisin sauce. Fried buns with condensed milk - always yummy. Needs more condensed milk though. Green onion pancakes - decent but slightly greasy and not enough flavor. Sauce was a little odd. Cucumber salad with jellyfish - sauce was salty. Actually good if you shake off the excess (black) sauce. Garlic green bean - super salty sauce. Nice crunch though. Tofu salad - yummy! Love that the tofu is seasoned. Will be back if looking for late night, simple eats.
I never dined in here, but I did order delivery twice in less than a week through doordash. Both times the food came nicely packed, well organized, and hot. The first time I've ordered almost a week ago was the pork hash, garlic green beans, mabo tofu with noodles, rice noodle and dumplings, and a pork belly dish with rice (can't remember the name). My favorite has to be the rice noodle cake with dumplings. It had peanut sauce and even reheating it on the stove made it satisfying to eat as leftovers. Each dish had between 6-8 pork and shrimp dumplings. The portions are generous which is enough for two meals. The pork hash came in 3s with the hot mustard and shoyu. Again these were good as well and not as oily and greasy. The pork belly was stringy and the rice was meh. It tries way too hard to copy Tom Khem which is a Laos dish. My mom had the tofu dish and after a while she did mention that the noodles got mushy and had no flavor. Then again she had to take a blood test so she had to watch her salt intake. I also tried the tofu and it was soft and not overly salty. The second time I ordered which was today, I replaced the rice dish with the char siu noodle soup and it was so good. It was the right portion size and the hot broth that's separate from the contents help soften the noodles. I also ordered coconut pudding and even though I have yet to try it, my mom said it was really good so I'm looking forward to it. Edit: I have now tried the coconut pudding and it was a generous portion. A nice refreshing and cold treat especially since we are now in the summer season. There is just a hint of coconut flavor though and shredded coconut flakes don't exist but it's still worth eating as a dessert or a snack. On both orders, I've ordered garlic green beans and it was the best tasting garlicky green beans I have ever tried. Overall, this place does serve good food but I'll probably skip the rice dishes and focus more on the noodle dishes and their sides.
Stormy rainy days call for won ton soup, and their won tons and dumplings are handmade! Friends had the mapo tofu noodles, won ton with mixed noodles, and the funn with peanut sauce. Everyone enjoyed their food, and the staff gave us the mini Jin dui for dessert. Sadly, they had sold out of the egg tarts already! Brightly lit, with clean, spacious tables, loved my frequent water refills (thank you!), (and they provide keys to the restrooms upstairs), plus handmade shrimp chips, and even jewelry for sale! They also have laksa specials. Condiments are self serve along the service desk. Lots of walk ins and take out orders, the phone was ringing non stop!

Omg so delicious full of flavor!!!! Eat in area small and serves its purpose. Parking lot is limited. Very limited. Copped me a table next to the window with some sun and enjoyed my lunch . Service seems to move right along. I ordered ahead then decided to stay glad I did. I was able to have hot food. Best noodles I've had in awhile !!! Tasted the fried chicken wasn't a fan. It was what I was gonna order but happy with my beef noodles. read more

Solid and authentic Chinese food! Priced reasonably and quick. Ordered the beef wonton noodle soup and zajang noodles and the beef wonton noodle soup was definitely the best! The zajang noodles were good but I wish it was a bit more flavorful and a bigger portion. Also the egg tarts are amazing when fresh as they're homemade! Did pickup but cashier was professional and friendly. Maple seating inside and appeared clean. Very no frills! read more
Been ordering doordash and Uber eats at this spot for a while. Finally had a chance to swing by and try it out. I got the chicken rice and my partner got the mapo tofu. The rice dishes were okay, not crazy impress with it. However they wonton, beef look fun is legit. Their chow fun looks good too but I didnt get those today. Service was quick and nice. The place looks like Chinatown inside, didnt bother me but it ain't for any fancy dates. read more

This is the first place I think of when I'm not feeling well. Like last night I was in desperate need of soup. Luckily for me Bo's still had CHICKEN JOOK available. A warm bowl of simple delicious rice porridge with pieces of chicken floating in it was just what I needed. Their late night hours are a godsend. Plus their central location in town makes it not far from where I live. Also in addition to the parking in front of the building there is a huge additional lot located behind the building accessible on Kinau Street. read more
Located in the old CS Wo building on Beretania, our party of 4 was able to snag parking right in front - close to the restaurant. Walking inside, the place looks bright, clean and cheerful. Our server was good - filled our water several times and checked on our table to make sure everything was okay. As for the food - I am looking forward to eating here again! Our party of 4 shared the beef brisket noodle soup, green beans with garlic, house tofu salad, house dumplings (very delicious - made with pork), spicy wonton(I couldn't try because it had shrimp, but everyone on the table said the shrimp was cut in pieces and had a good texture), and chicken with black bean egg noodles. I'm glad we decided to eat here for our first Saturday into 2025. read more
Bo's Kitchen on Beretania Street offers Cantonese Style comfort food from noodles, dumplings and amazing soups. With not many late dining options for soup, we found Bo's Kitchen closes at 10:30pm. Located in a small plaza, Bo's Kitchen seats about 20 people with a couple of tables seating up to 6. A good steady flow of patrons were coming for late night dining as well as patrons picking up and ordering food to go. For this visit I went with the Beef Brisket Noodle Soup. The brisket was generous and the noodles were fresh. I would order this again as the broth was tasty and not too salty. We also ordered the Green Onion Pancake as a starter and it was a great way to start the meal. Great experience at Bo's Kitchen as the food and service was great. Highly recommend if you are looking for late night dining. read more
Bo's Kitchen is another Ohana Market Place success story. I used to go to their little shop in the old Sport's Authority and I'm happy another small business from that place has made it. Cooking Cantonese comfort cuisine, Bo's Kitchen is open fairly late aka 10:30 pm, by Hawaii standards, giving people a good choice for late night eats, but prepare to go to Zippy's for those staying out to the morning light. My better half wanted noodles after a Waikiki comedy show and our parking was almost up, so off to Bo's it was. There's a fair number of stalls out front and the landlord never got around to changing the reserved sign from the old Tai Sei Ramen, who used to operate in that spot. We got the beef brisket noodle soup and the beef chow fun. I have to say, the prices and quantity here are amazing compared to what other places are charging. Eating out has gotten rough in the past four years and Bo's Kitchen is a blast of fresh air in terms of value. The beef brisket noodle soup at $14.75, was delicious to me with a surprisingly large amount of tender brisket. My better half prefers thinner slices, but I was down for these big chunks, and I rarely eat beef these days. There was plenty of noodles as well and the broth was well balanced without being salty. The beef chow fun was nostalgia on a plate. Slightly greasy, dry style, with tender beef, lots of cabbage and bean sprouts, and solid flavor. It's amazing how beef chow fun has gone from $6.5 to $20 in some places over the past two decades, with ever shrinking portions. So Bo's $14.95 for a big ol' plate of steaming tasty nostalgia is a solid deal these days. Delicious and comforting. The restaurant was busy at 8:30 pm on a Wednesday, with a constant stream of people dining in and doing take out and the demographics ranged from a group of old guys to college students and everyone in between. Came here bc I was wanted to eat something light and it seemed like all the restaurants were closing. That's when we remembered that Bo's Kitchen opens late! We both got wonton soup. Mine with noodles. I think they were both the same price tho so it's worth getting the noodles! The wonton soup was very comforting and perfect after a long day. The parking situation was a little hectic because there's barely any parking in front of the store and the back entrance to the store in the giant parking lot on Kinau st closes at night. We ended up just doing street parking on S Beretania by Planned Parenthood. Great service! read more
Nice, quaint, spot to dine-in or order to take-out. We ordered ahead but there was space so asked to eat there and then added the egg tarts and stayed. Then also added tea to sit and enjoy. The restaurant filled up and there were many people who came for take-out orders while we were there. Definitely a hot spot! Fresh and delicious! Great menu options and really great prices. Casual. Parking available. They have fun, punny, shirts (available for sale) and fun decor inside. read more
There's just something not right when I come here. Four times I've tried and only the first visit was good. Second visit I was forgotten. No food. After I asked about it, she came back to ask what I ordered. Third visit I came with my wife to introduce her to Hong Kong style noodles, she was underwhelmed. Fourth and last. I'm not going to try again. Food was good. A young PD guy came inside to buy a drink with his buddies, wearing a Blue Line "MAGA" t- shirt. Messed the mood up fast. Bought a new year gau and couple custard tarts they had out on the counter. Turns out the tarts were stuck to the pans and the gau was tasteless. Good luck Bo's Kitchen. I've dined at Bo's Kitchen many times. The service is always great. However, their takeout is a bit of a hit or miss (in my experience). Spicy Wontons - This is my favorite dish so far! There were 10 pieces topped with a heaping amount of chili oil. Hot, juicy, delicious. Definitely a reorder. Mapo Tofu - This was just okay. The flavor and quality were superb, but the rice-to-tofu ratio was wild. The bowl was mostly filled with rice, with a VERY thin layer of Mapo Tofu on top. The rice was also kinda cold, wet and hard, kind of like a sticky rice cake... My meal was $28 before tip. I'll be back, but only when I'm in the mood to dine in. My experience there is always pleasant. The food is typically ready in 15 minutes and the service is great. I do not recommend take out, but you won't be disappointed when dining in! read more

I only ordered the beef chow fun so I can't say much about my experience. What I will mention though is that these guys absolutely nailed the true essence of this Cantonese dish. Consistent flavor, just the right noodle thickness, great balance on the ratio of the ingredients. I only ordered takeout via a food delivery app but I would most definitely suggest it again. Loved my quick takeout lunch here. Online order is super easy and it's great for skipping the waiting lines. The Hainan style chicken was very satisfying and a solid portion to bring on the post-lunch snoozes. Only thing I could have wanted was a spicy chili sauce with it- otherwise it comes with shoyu, ginger oil and sweet chili sauce. The braised gizzards were tasty too :) read more
First time coming here and impressed by the vast menu including vegetarian options. Prices are reasonable too, portion size good. Service quick, place casual. I ordered the tofu broccoli vegetable curry tossed noodles. My friend ordered the laksa which was very flavor. All tasty and I would come back especially if I'm attending an event at the Blaisdell. It's close by. Parking is a little pain though. We ended parking in the back side. Overall great experience. read more
Went here before a show at the Blaisedell concert hall. It's a small restaurant with limited parking in front. There is additional parking on the Kina'u street side but that requires you to drive around the block to get back on Kina'u. Food was great. I got the Laksa with chicken. Good size portion and very tasty. Overall a good place to eat. read more

I've been to Bo's several times since my first visit a little over a month ago. I love the food! It's close to my work and I've been here about once a week since I started working nearby. I enjoy their udon, short ribs, wontons and the egg rolls are so good! I can't wait to keep trying more from the menu. I've eaten here once and the table service was good. Food was fresh and hot! I enjoyed the small dining area with just enough space for seven or eight tables. I had one occasion where I got back to my office and there was shrimp dumplings in my order. I have a shellfish allergy and I'm usually really good about telling each place I go to about it. I immediately called and they corrected the order and I walked back to get it. I'll eventually take more pictures before devouring my meals! read more

I was passing by and a parking space was available so I pulled right in. Yes, they have a very limited parking and they are very popular. I went in for my lunch and the place was full with Straub Medical people as the Straub Medical Center is very near by and the people working at the Honolulu Police Station across the street. I placed an order of black bean sauce over chicken and noodle for $14.50, which is cheap, and it was great, soo tasty. I also have to mention that the staff are very polite and efficient while this place was so busy. This is a great place and I would come more only if there were more parking. read more
Delicious noodle soups, both laksa and beef noodle soup! Unique and delicious takes on a variety of Asian style dishes. Very satisfying noodle soup dishes! A must try when you're in Chinatown. The owners were so nice and easily answered questions about my peanut allergy warning. For parking, you can find it in the back of the building (drive around the block), and will need to call to ask for the door code. read more

I've heard great things about this restaurant for quite some time and I finally got to try it! The restaurant is easy to pass but comes up easily using gps. The restaurant has a decent amount of seating, so we didn't struggle to find a table. We ordered the garlic green beans, tofu salad, beef brisket noodle soup, house pork dumplings, spicy wontons, and black bean chicken noodles. Everything was delicious! You can tell a lot of pride goes into cooking their dishes and they're meticulous about the quality of their food. The garlic green beans were a table favorite! The salad had the perfect balance of greens to topping ratio (tofu & wonton strips) and was served with a creamy sweet chili dressing. The beef brisket noodle soup was served piping hot and it was so comforting. The broth was delicious (not overly salty), the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the meat was tender and bountiful. The dumplings and wontons were stuffed generously and I liked that the wontons a chunks of shrimp inside as well. Lastly, the black bean chicken noodles were savory, saucy and flavorful. The staff were nice and attentive. On my next visit I'll need to save room for a homemade egg tart! read more

This mom and pop Chinese spot is a hidden gem in downtown. A small spot with alot of people doing take out so you know it's good. They serve classic homemade dishes with the wonton and dumplings being prepared in house. The spicy wontons are a great way to start a meal and come 12 per order. The beef chow fun is a solid noodle dish that's sharable as well. If you are looking for soup the wonton soup or brisket noodle soup are full of flavor and really round out any meal. The main event here is the Hainanese chicken rice. This is a simple dish but packed with flavor. Everytime I come in, I get this and it always delivers! It comes with sides of chili, soy, and ginger and when you mix it all in one bite, it is fire! This place is something I crave and definitely want to share this goodness. read more

Cantonese Comfort Food with an extensive menu with good portions and good prices. Service is prompt and friendly. Not much ambiance if you dine in but I didn't mind it at all very casual setting. I felt it was better to enjoy the food there. Parking in the front was minimal but there was a sign that there was additional parking. read more
Great find. Located downtown directly across from the police station on Beretania St., they serve up great food. We really enjoyed every dish we ordered. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There's a small parkimg lot in front as well as street parking. I beleive there is another lot as well. Give them a try when you're in the area. Happy eating and Alooooooha read more

We rang in the Lunar New Year at Bo's Kitchen this year with delicious dumplings, wonton noodle soup, and scallion pancakes. Here's a tip: Google maps and Apple Maps take you to two different spots, google maps will take you directly to their street level restaurant and Apple Maps will direct you to the shopping center parking lot on the upper floor. But hey, at least there's parking! We came in on Lunar New Year Day after watching the lion dances and loved that this was was open late- until 10:30! Since we did come a bit later in the day, around 8:30 pm, they were out of their homemade pork hash. I'm not good at making substitutions on the fly, so we got both the spicy dumplings and the mixed dumplings. Out of the two, my favorite was the mixed dumplings. It has a creamy sesame sauce that I loved! The spicy wontons were good but needed something else to balance out the spicy- oil. We also got the scallion pancakes that came with a dipping sauce that had some ground meat in it. Super crunchy and just felt homey. We also got the wonton and brisket noodle soup. The brisket in the soup was my favorite bite of the night. How you know that this was an authentic Chinese spot is that the service wasn't top notch and that's okay. read more

First time coming to this establishment. Glad we did. Taiwanese food. Very tasty. I ordered the garlic chicken with rice. Hubby ordered the garlic chicken with noodles. Wonton house special for appetizers. Portion were pretty descent., They open late until 10:30pm. Will come again. Will try the Shrimp Laska next time. read more
DELICIOUS food and excellent service! I can't exactly say I know authentic Chinese food, but I really enjoyed their Laksa with a coconut base. My friend ordered the chow fun and that was super delicious, as well. I also saw many elderly Chinese ladies coming in so it made me think that this was the spot for Chinese folks. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside to this restaurant was the parking. They have very limited parking that is shared amongst other stores and businesses. Street parking is extremely limited in the area too. read more
What's not to love about Bo's Kitchen? Located at the old Tai Sei Ramen spot across from the Police Station, this is one of my go-to places for Chinese comfort food. I normally place a take out or delivery order via DoorDash because the small parking lot can fill up quick, but I recently went and dined in with some friends. The food is so, so delicious! I love wontons and this is one of the few places that I end up at every time I have a craving for wontons hit. I highly recommend the spicy wontons; they are not too spicy but have a lot of flavor. My friends and I also shared the Crispy Chicken Dumplings but they were so good that we completely finished the dishes before I could get a photo! This time around, I ended up ordering the Hainanese Chicken Rice; I usually go between this dish and the brisket wonton noodle soup and both are solid dishes that keep me ordering them again and again. One of my friends enjoyed it so much she ended up going back a few days later for another round of dumplings! Service is great for both takeout and dine in, I've experienced both and have no complaints! The server that took care of us when we dined in was prompt and made sure our water glasses weren't empty. The place is clean and neat inside, and well lit. They're also pretty quick to get your food ready if you order takeout or delivery. Heads up if you need to use the restroom, they have a key and you actually need to head upstairs to access the restroom. Would recommend! read more

I remember why I avoided this place... Back in the day from Ohana Hale Marketplace they were politely rude if that makes sense and I still felt that vibe today. Though I knew I double check that their wontons has shrimp and yes they do and on this rainy day I though if something warm and comforting for lunch and since I have been here since the big move I thought to give them a try. Walking in at around 1pm it was still a bit busy which is great to see I walk up to the register and as they asked dine in or takeout I told them dine in and they offered any table which I did...keeping it short greeting was less than stellar, the staff was just not the friendliest almost robotic and the food came out very fast though the "Tofu Mixed Vegetables Chow Funn with Black Bean Sauce" looked like your standard nothing special and I couldn't find a single bean the dish was very dark yet lacked flavor and I just wasn't impressed. Their braised beef wonton noodle soup was goood! Unlike the soup from Chong Qing Cuisine, their noodles were thinner and soup was more mild, which helped to make the wontons stand out. The braised beef was okay but the wontons were excellent. The filling consisted of pork and large cuts of shrimp and had delicious notes of sesame oil. I've been wanting to try Bo's Kitchen for the longest time, all the way back from when they were in Ohana Hale Marketplace and I finally decided to go last night! I used to go to the restaurant that previously occupied their space (Tai Sei Ramen) regularly, so I knew where to park - there are two lots one on the street level and one upstairs. Bo's Kitchen offers a wide variety of Cantonese-style food. It was no surprise that the restaurant was completely full + pumping out take out orders on a Wednesday night. Though they were busy, our food came out pretty fast and piping hot! I had a hard time choosing just one item, but I ended up ordering the char siu noodle soup. The broth was super good and I researched that they make their soup from scratch :) My bf ordered the beef brisket noodle soup with extra noodles and he also loved his. Can't wait to come back to try more menu items, Bo's is the perfect weeknight dinner spot! read more

We went to Bo's Kitchen recently after my daughters art class. I've heard about Bo's kitchen but we never got a chance to go there. I believe it was in a different location. Now it's really close to Home World. There's only a few stalls in front of the restaurant so many people took their food to go. While we were there, there were about three tables seated. It's a small place to sit but I would say they have about six to seven tables. The people that work there are very friendly. They welcomed us when we got in and serviced us with waters and menus right away. We didn't really know what to order so we just looked on Yelp for their most popular dishes. We got the spicy wontons, beef chow fun, Hainanese chicken rice, chicken won tons, garlic green bean, and ended with fried buns with condensed milk. All of the food was so good. I loved all of it. My absolute favorite was the beef chow fun. I think the only thing that we some left over was the hainanese chicken rice. We've never had that before but people were saying it was good. I really liked the rice on that dish. The fried buns with the condensed milk was also a good dessert to have at the end. Their dumplings are also hand made and the fillings all flow nicely together. Next time we want to try the pork hash since those are hand made too. We can't wait to go back here. I guess I was so hungry on this visit that I didn't even take any pictures.
