We were welcomed in by the bartender and immediately made to feel at home by the ladies (bartender + waitress) who began chatting with us like we were locals. The drinks were phenomenal (aperol spritz was very refreshing). My favorite thing we ordered that day was the eggplant flatbread (sounded kinda funky... but is actually mouth-wateringly delicious). It was a great experience. We will absolutely be back the next time we're in town. I believe a small piece of flounder (which was overcooked), three or four shrimp (which were overcooked as well), and a crab cake - which was decent but kind of mushy, but the moisture helped me to eat the other overcooked fish so ended up being a positive. Had key lime pie for dessert- which was okay but not great in my opinion. We did not complain or ask them to redo the fish. Service and ambiance, plus them working with my wife on her dish pushed them to a 4-star. My dish by itself was probably 3 star at best but other elements of the experience were very nice. We would go back again but would be hesitant to order items like fish that are easy to overcook.

The first chicken parm piece that was got was rather large in size, however as we cut into the dish we noticed that half of the meat was still pink and cold to the touch. We showed our waiter, and instead of treating us with some empathy, we were told that "well its not our fault, but I've been trying to tell the guys in the back to pound the meat before cooking it." We were given another piece of chicken, and it was only slightly better than the first piece, but we ate a few bites and called it an evening. It's too bad, I'd be willing to try this place out for other dishes but I don't know if I'll choose this place again, knowing there are other options nearby. The best part of the evening was the ambiance and the wine, so maybe a happy hour in the future is in order.

I had to ask for it a few times unfortunately. We decided to split some food so we could try different things. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, the chargrilled oysters, and split the fish sandwich. The sauce on the fish sandwich was delicious and the fish of the day was some grouper which was fresh and yummy, too! The chargrilled oyster sauce wasn't my favorite flavor. It almost tasted like a steak sauce, but my husband enjoyed it. This is a cool place both inside and out for a younger crowd to have drinks.
