I've been a phone company DSL customer for something like 20 years (ever since DSL became available). DSL phone service has always been "clunky" at best - running on aged infrastructure. Obviously I don't change easily, so with some trepidation I just replaced my DSL service with a new Bluespan microwave service. I purchased a Bluespan service level (5/2) that on paper pretty much matched my old DSL service because I wanted to compare similar service levels. Cost of the new service was about 50% less than the DSL! Upon installation, the first thing I noticed was the difference in Latency - using Ookla SpeedTest, the Bluespan system reports 10-15ms latency - DSL had been running at about 60-75ms latency. Bluespan clocks in at a little over their guaranteed receive and send levels. Wow! That's a much more responsive and significant increase, especially on the send side (important for VPN). From a practical user standpoint my system easily seems twice as fast. So I loaded the system down with all my work junk (VPN, Outlook, etc.) and then had my wife go in to the TV and stream a movie from Netflix. Everything worked exceptionally well - we couldn't detect any lagging or buffering on the TV even with me doing everything I could in the office to cause a bandwidth problem. This system is terrific! Needless to say, I am EXTREMELY pleased with Bluespan! The office staff was very patient and helpful; the installer was on time, courteous and very thorough. It only took about 2 hours. The radio (antenna) is small and unobtrusive for my location and not visible from the street. We plugged the Bluespan Ethernet wire into my home router (which I had prepared ahead of time) and the system just zoomed to life! Today I'll get VoIP phones set up and will then be able to completely cut the cord with the phone company. Bottom line - easily twice the speed with internet and phone service for HALF the cost! Too bad it took me so long to make this switch - it's something I should have done years ago! read more

I've had Bluespan now for a few months, switched from V 5G Home Internet which has issues with streaming services due to no Static IP Address capable. Equipment install was professionally done (I'm an EE who shadowed the tech during install), signal and speed are synchronous and both as advertised, mated up no problem to my Google Nest WiFi Pro 6E with 5 pucks, tech support was responsive as I needed their assistance on a couple of Google Nest setup questions. Have telecom panel in house so wiring and wireless both are solid, have experienced no loss of signal during storms, use Bluespan for both large file/data remote work, streaming services, and household control and monitoring. Located on far west side next to Tucson Mountain so not a lot of Internet choices available over the years, have used several ISPs since moving to Tucson in 2008, Bluespan is best cost for combo of speed and reliability. One note to add - I did opt for Static IP Address to eliminate issues with streaming services sharing restrictions. V 5G Home Internet could have multiple IP Address changes in a single week requiring constant notification to streaming services to reset/correct. Keep in mind that in some cases streaming services will only allow a maximum of 4 IP Address changes in a year - big problem for 5G Home Internet providers (V, T-M) who do not support Static IP Addresses on residential 5G Home Internet (some do provide Static IP Addresses on 5G Business Internet accounts but max speed is reduced) Very Satisfied Customer! read more

About a week ago I was browsing for a new carrier because Century Link in my area is HORRIBLE; I get about .3mb -1.1mb. During my research of other providers in the Vail area, I came across Bluespan Wireless. I gave the company a call and spoke to a very nice gentleman, I think his name was Kelton. He spoke to me about all the options I had if I wanted to move forward with them. When I first was talking to him, I didn't understand how much bandwidth I truly needed, but after discussing that I want to watch Netlfix on multiple device, and my roommates wanted to play PS4, he gave me 3 options depending on my budget. I was surprised when he even gave me multiple options on the installation fee and what day of the month I wanted to be billed. This went a long ways with me because to leave Century Link, I would have to pay a crazy cancellation fee. He even gave me the choice of my contract length and the ability to split up whatever installation costs I had over 3 months, to help offset the costs of cancelling Century Link. Even after I had done all this I was still skeptical about actually being able to get their service because Cox and Comcast won't service my area. Kelton mentioned his computer software showed I'd be able to get their service, but he even offered to send out a technician for free to do a site visit to double check that I'd be able to get the service. I'm still under contract with Century Link because of the stupid cancellation fees, but as soon as I'm out, I'm going straight for Bluespan! read more

We switched from Hughesnet ,which was not working AT ALL in our more rural area ;we couldn't even stream on vudu, to Bluespan a week ago today. Not only is the product ( speed, continual streaming, all devices working well) FAR superior to what we had or anything we have used in the past in our other homes ( Cox, Century Link), the customer service from ordering our service through the installation has been five star. Our technicians , Andy and Nick, were friendly, courteous, super knowledgable and went above and beyond during the installation; taking the time to explain all of our options for location of set up and suggestions on how to best cover our less than typical house. They even went so far as to remove the satellite that we had been using even though they were placing the new one in a different location.I can't say enough about the excellent customer service provided by Andy and Nick. I was impressed with Bluespan soley on their merit before we even put the internet service to the test. We had such an awful connection through Hughesnet that I was very skeptical that Bluespan would function any better; I am THRILLED with how it is working. We have had ZERO problems. Andy and Nick made such a good impression that I also have the confidence that Bluespan is a company that values customer service as much as I do and, should any issues arise I trust they will be attentive and solution oriented . read more

We are so happy to have Bluespan back! Andy, our installer was awesome! He was so polite and very efficient! We have had every internet service possible out here where we live in the desert. Bluespan is the best by far! With Bluespan there is no delay like you get with satellite. It's just so much better! There is no limit to the data you can use! We stream shows every night and we could not do that with the 60 mpbs limit of so called fast internet. We would get a half a month of service for a very expensive price and it still did not work very well. Lots of buffering with satellite! The Wi-Fi calling feature on our cellphones works spectacular with Bluespan service, it did not work well with Viasat because of the delay. I could not take my husbands aggravation from the constant buffering any longer so I cancelled Viasat and called Bluespan! It's the best thing I've done all year even if it cost me to get out of that contract! It was worth it! Sometimes you don't get what you pay for! I've learned a lesson with Internet service. I've been a Bluespan client for around seven years now. We live in an area unserved by cable or phone companies. I've had great service for the entire time until recently. Here's the crazy part - I called their Support line on a Sunday and talked to a PERSON! Crazy, right, but Jordan stepped right up and walked me through a diagnosis. There was a possible solution, replacing a power supply. Jordan met me at the office door 30 minutes later and got me a new one. It didn't resolve the problem so I called again and talked to Will. He was also great, and assured me the service scheduling folks would call to get a tech to our home. The tech (Andy) came out, replaced the dish and pointed it to a newer/closer transmitter. He was skilled, professional and courteous. I can't say enough good my experience. Like most others, I was attracted to BlueSpan because the do NOT use weasel words like "Speeds Up To" some number. Bluespan more or less guarantees at LEAST a specified speed. I've checked several times and they are always within their guaranteed minimum or higher. Finally, Bluespan is local. I have lived in very rural Corona de Tucson for over 15 years, and depend on Line of Sight internet for everything from working and schooling at home to streaming all of my television programming. After using Bluespan, for over a year, without any issues, we received notification, last week, there would be some work done on the neighborhood tower. This was mildly inconvenient, but we never lost complete service, until yesterday. My technician, Ricardo, was so danged helpful, through the whole process, explaining there had been a global disruption of service, and they would be working non stop until the issue was resolved. The issue was resolved less than 2 hours later. I just had to call him, one more time, today, to let him know everything was working, and he took the extra minute to give me some tips on how to get the most out of my wifi router. He also let me know the tower upgrade was complete and my receiver was up-to-date. This is the fourth internet service we have had out here, and, at this rate, I doubt there will ever be a fifth. I want to take a moment to bring to your attention one of your technical support staff members, "Roberto". On 11/16/2022 I had the misfortune of my internet service went down. I contacted your tech service line and was connected with Roberto. I explained to him that I had service early in the morning however at mid-day I no longer had service. Roberto was very nice and said he would check if I had connection from his end. After a few minutes he found that the possible issue was my end. Roberto spent nearly an hour and half talking me through on how to re-set my router to include admin sign in procedures. Once my router was basically re-set and re logged in, Roberto had me re connected to the internet and all was good in the world. The patients Roberto exhibited with me on the phone was awesome. So, in closing, I would like you all to know you have an awesome Technician in Roberto, his customer service was unmeasurable. We live in Rocking K estates and for many years only had the option of Century-link for internet service (DSL). With the many options and fast moving data required to enjoy internet service in this day and age CL was simply sub standard with terrible down load and up load speeds (crawl). I called Bluespan and set up a presite visit to share concerns of installing/ drilling into my home as it requires different cabling. The installation tech was just that! He is a skilled technician with years of service to back up his skill. He had us up and running in no time and the installation was done as if I had done it myself (machinist). The speeds we agreed on was 5mbs (not up to) and a speed test showed a solid 5.5. We can now enjoy netflix, research complicated sites all at the same time. My current router works fine with their service and installation fee was $116.xx as I required a little more cable than normal. I have had blue span for about 5 months now and I just read a review from a "lady" that was not at all happy with their service. I would like to respond to her complaints from a customers point. I (like her) have a complicated system and there were some issues regarding getting the correct hardware and programming to work with all the things I need. I have to say that through all the growing pains associated with a new company that Blue Span has ALWAYS taken care of the problem and quickly! I have never had any person be rude to me or refuse to service my needs. I came from Comcast and had many problems with lack of service and not being understood in my language. I feel that all of us customers should understand that this is a local based company and will do whatever it takes to make us happy. They truly try to make sure that we are taken care of as soon as possible. getting rude and cursing out a person who is trying to help you is not acceptable, even in today's world. read more

We have been with Blue Span since 2016. The service is service is outstanding and the customer support is beyond great. The few times I've called they know me or my wife by our phone number, and have prompt answers. No guessing or well we may be able to provide an answer. None of the nonsense we have gone through before. We needed our dish realigned recently. The scheduling was quick and concise. The tech called ahead to let us know he was on his way. And from the time he pulled into our driveway to the time he left us under twenty minutes. If you are on the fence about this company or the service it provides. I had been waiting years for for high speed internet where I live. First Qwest and then Centurylink promised that they were going to bring DSL to our rural area, but it never materialized and we were stuck with dialup. We ended up getting Verizon Wireless, but it was still too slow and too expensive. We looked at satellite internet, but it was also to slow and too expensive. When I hear that Bluespan was bringing wireless high speed internet to where I live, I jumped at the chance and haven't looked back since. We now have the luxury of having wireless internet in all our rooms, and we can watch as many movies as we want from Netflix and Amazon Prime. The antenna only takes up a small space on the roof and isn't as noticeable as our satellite dish. The service has been reliable and tech support is top notch! read more

Blue Span Wireless: what an internet provider should be! Awesome, awesome service! Speed test measures 5.1 gigs, every time! No buffering while streaming or using multiple tech "toys" such as smart phones, TVs, or Kindles. The customer reps are fantastic--always helpful, super attentive, go 'above and beyond' their duties. So happy I gave Blue Span Wireless a try---I'll never go back to the "big name" providers (Verizon, Dish, etc.) that are unwilling to upgrade to fiber-optics, lay down more lines, and worse yet, offer inept and appalling customer service. I was a Qwest/Century Link customer for 18 years, paid a lot of money for a lousy 1.5 gigs--and only got .40 gigs, when performing a speed test--imagine that.... read more

Bluespan is the best!! I have had their service for about 3 years. Most recently [yesterday] my router died. Even though it was late afternoon on a Sunday I decided to try to reach their tech support and someone answered the phone. I spoke with Jessica and within an hour or so she delivered a new router to me at my home. When I called back later Sunday evening to get help setting it up, Ricardo helped. Today I called back and spoke to Ricardo about the set up and what I consider to be a silly problem I was having with one of my games. BlueSpan is our internet provider. We recently upgraded our old 10/5 connection to their new FIBERWAVE wireless broadband (250/25). We initially had a few problems with manufacturing defective parts, as it is a very new technology, but Team BlueSpan has worked the bugs out with the manufacturer and we have had 10 days of 100% uptime. Our thanks to the HelpDesk guys, especially Jacob and Dan, and also to David our installer. In reality, at some point, the system will have a problem as everything does, and we'll have an outage. We know the crew back at the office and those in the field will be working to get it back and running. read more

We wanted to get rid of corporate internet. a few months ago I called Bluespan and was told we could have service set up the next day. That was great! However, the serviceman called back in an hour and said he could be there in 30 minutes!! He had everything installed and up and running by the afternoon. We were amazed and relieved!! We made one call last month for an outage. There was no wait or hold time at all! The fellow fixed it over the phone and took me through the steps in the event there was a recurrence. I have to be honest. When a company says "speeds at 10mbs/2mbs", I start to think that it is a "up to" kind of deal. That coupled with the customer service provided by Greg and Chris in your Tucson office, who dealt with my indecisive manner over the course of three months, amazes me. When we moved out of city limits we started having problems with Comcast they had a cap and were charging us way to much for service which I did not agree with since there are areas that offer unlimited internet. We decided to change and I heard about Bluespan. We have had them for about 5 months and I cannot tell you how AWESOME they are. Their customer service is phenomenal! We had a lighting strike that took out our internet and they were there the next day to fix it. Not to mention their technicians are highly knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them. read more

Install on November 15, 2016. Had to wait till centurylink contact up. David installed quickly and easily. Friendly and easy going. Internet quality superior to DSL. No buffering anymore on Roku channels. Centurylink touted 20mps. Measured as true, but thoughput not consistent over telephone line. Getting 5 mbps measured now over wireless to ethernet. Absolutely no buffering now. And at 1/3 monthly cost and local service instead of having to call the Phillipines. Love the service and will recommend to all I know. Chuck read more
