While there wasn't any major issue with the flavor, I do think it's unfortunate they charge Bay Area pricing but don't give you Bay Area portions. Being honest, the portion IS ideal for a single serving though so I'm sure to some it may be worth it but for me personally I'm always on the lookout for a good deal when it comes to food. I also ordered the calamari appetizer and this was a disappointment all around. There was way too much breading on every piece of calamari, and it was overall such a small portion I feel ripped off. I probably wouldn't order here again, at least not via DoorDash (especially because they are not on dashpass so I ended up paying over $50 for the TWO items I got from here). That said, as a local resident, the experience has been frustrating more often than not. Their posted hours say they're open until 2 PM, but in reality, they're usually sold out by around 10 AM. It makes it really difficult to plan a visit unless you go very early, which isn't always realistic for everyone. If the shop consistently sells out that early, it would be helpful to either adjust the hours or increase production so more people actually have a chance to buy something. Because this is the only donut option in town, it would be nice to have a more reliable experience--or even some competition to give residents a bit more choice. Again, I respect that it's a small, family-owned spot, but as it stands, it's hard to depend on them if you're not there first thing in the morning. Please try to work on this sunshine. I would hate for a chain donut store to come to this town, but at the end of the day i would take consistent service over anything.
