Review Time! Let me start by saying I have an AMAZING nail technician in California. I recently moved back home here to Parker and have been on the hunt for a new nail technician/salon. Today I tried Blue Sky Nails! Let's start with the good, then get to the bad. The salon is large and open, tons of pedicure chairs as well as manicure desks. I appreciate that the salon didn't have an overly powerful smell! It smelled fresh and clean. I got a gel manicure as well as the organic pedicure. Cleanliness is HUGE to me. The pedicure chairs appeared clean, the pedicure bowl was lined. The pumice stone used on my feet was new. The pedicure consisted of nail clipping, cuticle clipping, a sugar scrub, callus remover, 2 different types of lotions and hot towels. The lady who did my pedicure started off great, but she clipped the sides of my nails in a way I had never had before. She ended up cutting me on my toe because of it. She was a bit rough with digging around as well. I had to tell her a few times my toe was too sensitive and she was going too rough. Moving to the manicure, she had drilled off my old gel polish and soaked them in acetone during my pedicure. It was a good 45 min-1hour that they were soaking. To be honest, they started to feel hot and burn. She scraped off the gel once we got to the manicure desk. It was a bit rough and it felt like she was damaging my natural nails. My natural nails grow fairly long and they were quite long when I arrived. However I had broken a few so I asked her to clip them all down and make them rounded. When she began to clip my cuticles and file my nails, she went very hard and fast and rough and actually cut my finger on both sides with the nail file. She then applied some sort of blood stopper and used alcohol which burned. She continue the service and finished my polish with chrome and did the lotion/massage. I don't mind chatting as I get my nails done, but when we did start chatting, she got so distracted she stopped doing my nails and then proceeded to pick up a phone call as she did them. It's small, but distractions can make attention to detail go away. My nails look decent, a bit of funny bubbling or bumpiness underneath and some areas not completely up to my cuticles. My toes are the same. Not a smooth even coating. Overall I paid $100 for the services. I did pay cash, so there is a discount for that. I was there a total of 2 hours. Not the worst place I've been, but with getting cut in 3 areas, I likely won't be back. read more

This place is dirty, they didn't use clean tools and cut my toe nails too short and gave me an infected toe nail.

Terrible, lady was so rude when I told her she cut my nail too short. Super chunky and pointy not at all what I asked for. Charged me for "extra length" , shape and so much other things. My mom came with me and got the same as me and didn't get any of the charges. Do not recommend at all. Don't care enough to do a through job and make the client happy. read more

Oh it feels so good to be pampered again! First time here and first Pedi with the lockdowns lifting. Social distancing is practiced, where face masks are required, 10people max at any given time, the technicians wear face masks face shields and gloves and clients are distanced every 4th chair. Clients are asked to wash hands upon entering and all clients required to sign off of release they have no Covid symptoms. The service was wonderful. Very relaxing and Amy, my technician today, was super gentle. I might have taken a short catnap. The chairs are in great condition and the salon very well kept. I am definitely coming back. Although they advertise walk-in's welcome, at this time reservations are required, so call ahead! Pick a color! Yes I am very happy to be able to do so now. It's a pleasure!! read more

Absolutely love this place. I came here back in May and was very pleased with the service, friendliness and amount of care they put into the visit. My feet felt wonderful afterwards and i looked forward to my next visit. In between may and now i went to another place, decent but my feet did not feel the same in fact they actually kind of ached. I came back today to Blue Sky and got the same welcoming vibe and same care and friendliness. I even had a different person to do my pedicure. I have an issue with one of my big nails and they did the best to get it to look normal. I also have a callus on the side of my foot that they tenderly took care of both times. They are wonderful and i will continue to revisit here as long as i get the same level of service and care each time. I love Blue Sky. read more

I walked in this afternoon to get my dip redone. And this place has decent reviews but I would not recommend this to anyone. After Amy removed my previous dip and tips, she started to add the first layer of the new color that I had chosen. She asked me if I liked the color and I very politely said that I did not like it and would like to change it. I even asked for her opinion but all she did was huff and possibly curse at me while slamming the color book shut and got up "against her will" to get my new color. I immediately told her that I do not want her service and stop because I will not be treated like this. I was nothing but respectful and she decided to not take the service respectfully. I've gone to this salon multiple times and never been overly impressed by the service but it's close to my house so I go in a pinch. I went today to get dip taken off and just get a regular manicure with polish. I thought surely they can't mess up regular polish, I was wrong. This is what I walked out with. She said "this is regular polish, gel won't do that but regular polish will" I'm appalled, she didn't even try to fix it. I got charged $30 for this mess. Never going back. read more

I have been here twice now after being referred by many people in the area who swore that this was the best place in town. Compared to other salons I have been to, they are polite although they still speak to their friends in front of you in another language for the entirety of the service like you are not even there. Both times that I went I would say that my experience was mediocre. This is due to the fact that they do great work, but did not actually paint my entire nail either time I went. Because I got two different people on two separate occasions, I believe that this is a tactic used by the entire salon- don't paint the whole nail so that they have to come back sooner. This is very disappointing and something I only noticed after I left the salon. The first time I thought it was a coincidence and the second time I realized this was being done on purpose. I thought I had found my new regular place but the fact that they are quite pricey compared to similar places and they don't actually paint your entire nail (they get like 90% of it), I think I would rather do my nails at home. UPDATE from 3 to 1 STAR (would give 0 if I could): NEVER RETURNING HERE I just went back to get my nails removed- a simple service. When I came in the lady started the service by removing the color and then clipping the acrylics off. Then she proceeded to try to PRY MY NAILS OFF with one of the fake nails they add acrylics onto. When I asked her not to do that, she stopped but was very mean and rude the rest of the service. The process she removed them In was unlike any other nail salon I have ever witnessed. She had my soak my hands in a solution and then filed them down, when usually they are removed by wrapping the nails in foil and acetone. Then, when she got most of the acrylic off by soaking and filing, she proceeded to PRY THE REST OFF WITH A FAKE NAIL which I explicitly asked her not to do in the beginning. At this point I didn't say anything because I was desperate to get out of there. This left my nails underneath in pain and looking and absolutely disgusting. Then, she asked if I would like the shaped and I said yes please. Then she did not shape them and I included pictures of what my nails looked like when I left. This is such a hummer because I thought I had found a place that does good work only to learn they are just like every other nail salon- cutting corners and overcharging . I've been here maybe 5 times and each nail tech was polite and friendly. But I think only one of them actually soaked my fingers and gave me an actual manicure. Every other time, it was basically a polish change. Today, the tech got too close to my cuticles with the grinder and made 2 fingers bleed. Have been here dozens of times and used to be my "go-to" place to get my nails done. After today, I'm not returning. The last few times I've been there, the services are VERY rushed, and you are up charged for EVERYTHING. They won't tell you until you go to pay. They have also been really rude the last few months. But today-- My 2 year old daughter was very excited to get her nails done. They were so rude to her, yelling at her to stay still and keep her hands flat. Her little excited face quickly turned fearful and sad. They also charged me $5 for a 2 year old manicure because she chose 3 colors!!! Come on! They were mocking her and just being rude. my appointment was at 10. waited 40 min. ask for hot water for my pedi, he made it so hot you could put your feet in it. then was annoyed that he had to add cold water. showed him by pointing to the type of pedi $25 I wanted and dip $48 I wanted. did a nice job. came time to pay and told me $99.58. no should be $73. he told me all of these add on. one was $10 to take old nail polish off. another $10 to cut cuticle. then $5 for service fee. they are a rip off never going back. if you go get your price writing before you get anything done. read more

Today is the first time I go to this nail salon and would also be my last. My pedicure was great she did an amazing job. When she started on my nails she seemed bothered. I had asked if I can get my nails with gel French tip. She proceeded to say yes. As she is starting on my nails she tells me "we are doing dip it is healthier". She later asked if I wanted clear or pink base. I stated nude and still received pink. There are much better places in Parker to go. I wanted to love this place so bad. The inside is beautiful and it's such a relaxing environment. Both times I've been here, I've gotten dip manicures. The first guy I had (very short hair) did an acrylic set basically. He painted it on with a paintbrush in the same way as acrylics. Very fast, fairly good quality, and very kind. This time, I could not be more disappointed. The guy with very long hair did my nails. I arrived at 4:25 and wasn't finished until 6:05. Longest manicure of my life. Longer than acrylics. He soaked of my previous set of dips which took 40 minutes. He sat on his phone the whole time in an entirely different part of the salon. I tried to get his attention multiple times but couldn't. Then after the dipping process he finished it with THREE coats of shellac polish which is not what I've had done every other time I've gotten dips. He left a ton of crust on my nails and I'm just not happy whatsoever. I don't recommend it at all. read more

Beautiful nail salon, newly opened! This nail salon is extremely modern, located in Parker in the new plaza next to Mod Pizza. They offer all nail services, my favorite; dip! They also have a room for eyelash maintenance and application. I called to make an appointment the day before but their signs show they also allow walk-ins which is a great option. The inside of the salon is very open with the manicure tables in the middle and the pedicure chairs around the outside. There are so many options when it comes to nail color whether you're doing gel, dip or just a regular mani/pedi! I went there as a walk in for a set of nails, they were able to get me in quickly, so that's a good thing. Let's talk about the environment, it was pleasant, the ladies were nice, but nothing was clean, the acetone cup that was used had a gummy bottom, and the nail tech just added more acetone, the glass was dirty, the nail files were not new or clean, nor were the clippers. I gave them two stars because I got in quickly, but the cleanliness of the place needs a deep cleaning and fresh clean glass containers and clippers that are sanitized between each use, the price was comparable to other salons with the same service. Lily did a great job. I did gel: shellac mani and regular pedi. She was so nice and did a great job. I showed her what I want it from Pinterest and she did the design just the way I wanted. When they didn't have the rose gold glitter, she was so smart to mix two different glitters together to give me what I ask for. I'm so sad because it's SO hard to find a good nail salon and this one has terrible customer service! 1 nail tech did a good job but Friday I had my nails done with dip and Friday night they were already breaking! I've already driven 40 mins each way from East of the airport to come back to have it fixed and each time they're too busy with new appts to fix mine that are now all starting to break after 3 days!! So I didnt waste my time driving over again I called at 230 and asked if I come at 5 if ANYone can please fix my nail that is now splitting in half and causing a ton of pain and they said yes come in. I used to go to this place religiously before I started school and couldn't go regularly. I just went back to get my nails done for a vacation and booked an appt for dip nails and a pedi with someone I had seen many times. I arrived at the time of my appt and they were ready for me. But Michelle was doing someone else's nails and someone I'd never met before came to get me. I was in a crunch for time so I just said okay. The pedicure was mediocre even though I got the best one they offer, the gel doesn't even go to the sides of my big toenail. Then we went to do my dip nails. I was skeptical when she didn't apply dehydrator and barely buffed my nails. Then as she was dipping the powder wasn't sticking. She continued to do coat after coat and I finally asked her to stop because they would be too thick to which she responded "it's a light color it needs more layers". But that has never been the case for me previously when doing light dip. I could tell the further we got in to my nails the worse they were going to turn out. There was not one nail that's shape matched. The dip was underneath my nails. The dip was on my skin. It was all around the worst nail experience I've ever had. And then when I showed the manager she said I had to pay and stay to get them fixed(after being there 2.5 hours already) or leave paying for the nails I had gotten. She also agreed she herself wouldn't pay $55 for the nails I had just gotten done. I couldn't stay as I had previous plans so now two days out from my dip manicure and 1/2 of my nails are cracked and two are coming off completely. PLEASE don't give them your business. read more

Chose a certain color from their book for dipped nails, ended up with a way darker color, not even exact shade. Can't really ask them to redo without looking like a dick. Would have been nice if the girl doing my nails would have actually used the color and number I chose. Got a pedicure directly after. I've been here before and had no problems, but the tech I just had gave me the rudest experience I've had in the 7 years I've been getting my nails done. I came in an hour before close and was trying to be overly kind and thankful. She was over-drilling my polish off and was hurting me, so I pulled my hand back twice. She told me not to look at her and clearly talked about me with her friend for two minutes. Her friend then held up the nail colors right in front of my face so as not to look at the tech. They continued to talk and laugh until her friend left. I stayed quiet the rest of the time until she was done. She ended up doing a great job (probably from the vibe I was giving off) but I won't be coming back. The tech next to me was trying to upcharge the lady she was working on by tacking on $10 for her oval shape she got without telling her- trying to say oval was a unique shape. I've tried this place twice. After today I will never go back. One tech was so ruff on my hands they were bleeding. After another next stepped in my French manicure is anything but nice. The nails are not filed, one nail was never polished. The traditional pink nail and white base is a pink nail coating everything. They look dirty and incomplete. Never been here before and now's it's my new favorite. So nice and willing to take walk-ins needing 2 lower leg wax, 2 pesos, 1 mani and 1 new full set of acrylic nails. Again, very kind. Didn't seem like they were bothered and very welcoming. Leg waxing went quick and easy. Bubble pedicure was calm and relaxing. Leanne is amazing! And the gal sitting just to her right was perfect with my daughter who has special needs.they took their time with her and asked her questions and spoke to her in a slow king manner. Katie did a great job on my pedicure but I would not be able to afford to go there again. The lady at the front desk was pretty rude. She spent most of her time on her cell phone and not paying attention to me while she was talking to me. She was just ordering me around telling me to go wash my hands. I was having a pedicure. Not a manicure. Don't appreciate being treated like I'm five. Get off your phone and do your job. And smile... It doesn't cost anything to smile. read more
