Do not go here if you are in market to get powder. I got them just 2 days ago. The nail person, although very sweet, doesn't have a clue how dip nails work. She ended using gel base and top coat after she dipped by nails( like literally once after another). The dip was so thin and then she filed it to make it thinner. I could literally see my nail bed but she ignored my remark. 2 days later my nails are discolored. The whole point t of using dip is because it doesn't get stains. NOTE. you will pay more than market for dip nails at this pace ($45). Always read the reviews folks. This was such a expensive mistake. read more

On saturday May 18, 2024 I called at 9:30 to make an appointment for my friend and I to get our nails done. I clearly stated my friend would get shellac manicure and I would get a pedicure. They said to come at 11:15. We arrived early at 10:50 because we ate at a restaurant next door and finished early. I called and they said it was fine to come early. We arrive and and there were techs available for us but they only took me back for my pedi. My friend sat next to me waiting until they called her. Well they did not call her and they took 2 people who just walked in instead of starting on her. My pedicure lasted 12 minutes which is the quickest pedi ever for$35 . Besides not speaking one word of English all she did was file my nails , rub lotion on my feet, and then started polishing. No soaking , no scrub, no nice massage. So I paid for a polish not a pedi. I was done and my friend is still waiting there. I asked for the manager and she ignored us despite speaking at least some English. She was saying something about my friend wanting a dip but we never said dip ,I said shellac multiple times. Either way, it doesn't matter what service my friend wanted, she had an ppointment and they ignored her. All they said to me was , $35.00. No apology from the owner, and actually one of the other techs came up to apologize which is sad because it's the manager's job to deal with client issues. So my pedi was not even a pedi and my friend got nothing . This place used to be so good, very friendly and now it's gone downhill. I will never go back a waste of money. read more

I have been going here for many years. Recently there have been new people employed and some owners retire. My experience recently was awful. The pedicure ended with a severely cut toe and the polish job was sloppy. My manicure was done by Michael and was poorly done. I had the SNS nails done. Within one week they began to peel and more. A UV light was used which I now know is not part of the system. I was given $5 off for the cut foot. I will not go back. read more

I have been going to this place for almost a year now and I have loved every shellac manicure - except for today. Cathy did my nails today for the first time and she ruined them. I asked for a light file and a square cut. She hacked my nails off, to the point where they hurt, and they're round! On top of that when she was filing what little was left of my nails she basically filed my skin and there are now parts that are basically raw. If all of this wasn't bad enough - she never spoke to me, never asked if what she was doing was ok, and when I tried to tell her she started talking to her coworkers in their language. I will still go here because I have never had a problem with ANYONE else there EVER! But I will never let Cathy touch my hands again! And neither should anyone else. read more

I Have been going to this salon since it opened and I have had every employee do my nails and pedicures and I love everyone of them. They are sweet and courteous everytime. My sister in law and her husband from Florida loves coming to see them. I cannot say enough about this shop. Come and enjoy a Jelly pedicure and a manicure, you will not be disappointed. I have never had a shellac manicure that stays on for the two week time period but Caroline took the time to do it correctly and I am so happy. I have been having my nails done by Caroline for many years and have always been very happy. When she opened piney creek nails there was no doubt that I would be making the long drive because no one can do as good a job on my nails as she can. My nails are very durable and look great! I read another review on this site and was shocked! I have spent a lot of time in this salon and have never seen anyone dissatisfied with their results or the customer service. This is definitely a review that is way over due! My sister's wedding party came into this salon the day before her wedding for manis and pedis. The people who worked there were so unbelievably nice and genuine. They set up tables for us to bring in food and drinks to help celebrate my sister's wedding. Not only were they completely accommodating and sweet, they even bought her/us a cake, champagne, and had little champagne glasses for our mimosas. I will NEVER return to this salon! The positive comments that I can make are that the nails applied were durable and nice & the cost was reasonable with the 20% special they were running. However, the following occurred which determined my opinion: 1. Although I was only one of two clients in the salon, I was rushed to the pedicure chair & was not able to make a polish selection. 2. They CHARGED me as an add-on fee for callous remover. Huh? I have never been charged for this by any other salon! 3. When I got up from the chair to select my polish, I noticed a big blood stain on the towel where my heel had been resting. When I returned to the chair, the towel had been refolded with the blood stain hidden. I asked my pedicurist to please apply something to stop my bleeding and she acted surprised that I had been cut. Hmmm! It was deep enough that it took 6 weeks before it was healed. 4. When I was ready to get my nails done, I was disappointed that they do not carry the patterned tips which I sometimes like to use. So, I elected to have pink & whites with a design. 5. Michael, the owner/manager approached me during my nail session & asked how I liked it. I told him that I was surprised at being charged for the callous remover. He then proceeded to stand directly over me and argued that he compares other nail salons in the area and Piney Creek is the cleanest shop. That's why they charge for it. WHAT? He also stated that someone who does not have callouses will not have to pay for remover. Hey, isn't that one of the reasons for getting a pedicure? Michael continued to hound me until I agreed with him. I just agreed so he would leave me alone! It was SO BAD that I stopped at plain pink & whites with no design so I could get out of there! I have been getting my nails done here from the time they opened. I am usually pretty happy with the service but lately I have not been happy with the service. The last time i went in I was shuffled in and while everyone else was offered water, my daughter and I were not as much as acknowledged when we requested water. I had to tell the guy doing my nails several times that they were crooked and it was only fixed when I got a little loud about it. the nails were too long and my request to shorten them was ignored and I was tired of asking so I just let them go. Finally the paint job was so poor that a 5 year old could have done a better job. I went back about 2 weeks later to have a rebase and express how unhappy i was last time only to find that although they have a sign stating they are open 7 days a week they were closed all day Monday?!?!? If you are closed on specific days then post that! I drove down the street and found a great one by TGIF who did a spectacular job! I will not be back. read more

I have a place that I go for a very fast in and out shellac manicure and pedicure. Although this one took a lot longer I really appreciated all the detail and attention that they gave to me, from a glove while my old shellac was being removed so it didn't drip, a pillow on my lap to get my mani in the pedi chair, to the strong massage given. Everything was super clean and very organized and I walked out feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I will come back here. read more

A friend and I went to Piney Creek Nail Salon for a manicure this past Sunday. I was expecting a relaxing experience, however, it felt very rushed and I am not happy with the end result. I was barely able to choose a polish color before I was asked to have a seat at the manicure station. The manicurist did not turn the lamp on over the table, so I'm not sure how she saw what she was doing. The layers of polish were put on so thick that it took HOURS to dry and were pretty smudged by the time I got home. I put my own clear coat on to try to smooth it out. That worked on most of them, but not all. Now, it's Tuesday...only a day and a half after I had the manicure and the polish has already started to chip off. Although, the prices are inexpensive, I was expecting a more relaxing experience and would have even been willing to pay a bit more for that. I use to live in California and had been going to a salon for over 20 years there so I knew moving to Colorado would mean finding a new nail salon and I have been searching for the last 6 months. Piney Creek Nails was recommended to me by someone who goes there, why? I don't know. As soon as they found out I use to live in CA they jacked up their price from the $35 I was quoted to $65 when I was done. When I asked why they were charging me more I was told the nails were extra long (I can close my hand into a completely closed fist so they can't be extra long) so it was an additional $10, then to remove the acrylic set I had come in with was an additional $10, and the last $10 was not explained to me. I did not leave a tip. When my acrylic set was removed I asked that they be soaked off not ripped, she first tried to rip and pry them off. When the ripping and prying didn't work she soaked them off. I asked for orange and blue glitter and was advised that they would do orange and blue tips and charge me only $35 that the glitter would be too expensive and too much work. Ummmm, ok don't they usually try to up sell you not down sell? I went with the orange and blue tips, after all the Super Bowl coming up. Today (just 3 days later) my thumb nail broke off while I was putting on my gloves, when I called the salon they advised me there was nothing they would do, I could pay to have it fixed but that was it. I will NEVER return to Piney Creek, they are rip off artists, rude, and use dirty interments. Maybe that last $10 was charged to me because I insisted they use a clean emory board when filing my nails. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

Wow, a friend and I have gone every 3 weeks for pedicures since they opened. The salon is very clean and well-decorated, and I have never been rushed or not asked what I wanted. Even though I am a regular customer, they ask me which level of service I want (there's a detailed description of the levels and prices at each pedicure chair). I like that it's a family business and that the owner is there to check up on things. I am sorry to hear that someone had a bad experience, but I think it was a rare occurrence. I pay about $5 more than at the salon I used to go to, but for the amenities (e.g., no broken massage chairs, complimentary drinks, cleanliness, great environment, etc.) it's worth it. read more
