The menu is EXTENSIVE and they have an option for pretty much anything you're in the mood for! I got the Mexican egg scramble and the pumpkin pancakes to share. The prices might seem slightly on the higher side for a breakfast place, but once you get your food you'll understand why. The portions are generous and the food is delicious! I ended up taking half of the food home and I genuinely looked forward to eating it as leftovers - which fed me for multiple meals. 12/10 would recommend the pumpkin pancakes no matter what season it is. I ordered the white toast and it is the 2" thick, low quality, tasteless white bread they use for their French toast. Whatever. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The utensils are one step above plastic - they are light-weight, cheap, rough edged crap you might imagine in a prison.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Whatever. The plastic containers of half and half were already on the table, sitting there at room temp. Again, whatever. The waitress dropped off the bill, said to use the QR code to pay unless we were using cash, then took off. If we wanted to split the bill, I guessed we would need to wait for her to come back around. So, I offered to pay the astoundingly high bill. I open the QR link and the first things that popped are the tip options with 20% pre-selected. All told the bill was $97 for two people. When I got home I glanced at the itemized bill: *They charged us $16 for two cups of coffee with one refill each. *a 20 % tip was already included! Apparently, they add 20% onto checks over $50. Of course it's over $50 when you charge $16 for mugs of coffee, and $$ for sides of crappy white toast. Make no mistake, this is my fault for paying with the QR code and not combing through the itemized bill first. I guess I'm not used to going to neighborhood joints expecting to get fleeced. My suggestion: go around the corner to Spoons Cafe on Cross St: high quality food and you won't feel robbed blind when you look at the bill. read more

We went looking for a weekday breakfast near Fed Hill, and thought of Blue Moon Too. (Apr 2026) It's an easy to find bright blue storefront on Light Street, just north of the Cross Street Market. At 10am on a weekday, we found metered street parking right at their corner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a large space, with walls covered with art. There's around 52 seats at tables of mostly 4 and 2, with one for around 12. There was a 2-seat-table set up outside, and a bunch more available down the side of the restaurant that could be set up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We chose a table for the two of us, and server immediately offered us hot coffee in big steaming mugs. The menu, available online and by QR code, is huge! We ordered Veggie Scramble: 3-eggs lusciously full of mushrooms onions green peppers and tomatoes. They let us choose feta cheese! And the hash browns were epic! A mountain of creamy shredded potatoes, well-done to a crispy crunchy surface! And we got their Huevos Rancheros: open-faced 2-egg tacos, flavorful medium-spicy Mexican chorizo sausage and salsa verde under melted cheddar-cheese, over warm soft corn tortillas, with a side of those amazing hashbrown shredded potatoes. We got the eggs scrambled. Both breakfast servings were ample and delicious. Service was friendly, fast, and efficient. A few flaws: They have no espresso! Waah! The strong black coffee tasted a little bit bitter, maybe brewing for too long, but it was fine with milk and sugar. We each had two cups, which tells you the bottom-line :-). And, we made a point of choosing a two-person table, while one person waiting for a date was asked rather sternly by the manager to leave their only 12-person-table for a larger group. I have tried this location twice (in Fed Hill) and overall just not for me. Both times came on Sunday around 9-9:10am. First time for 2 of us, we got seated right away, the second time was for 4 and was about a 25min wait (not a big deal since we know it's a busy spot for brunch). Maybe willing to try once more as I want to try the French Toast and seeing other positive reviews (third times the charm?) 20% gratuity is automatically applied for parties of 4+ or if your bill is $50+(super easy to hit $50 for 2 people). Expectations didn't meet what we thought we were going to experience. The fruit was incredibly underripe. We purchased the fruit plate and 60% was inedible. The blueberries literally had my teeth mark on them! the coffee was diner quality and the French toast (and sin roll) crumbled when you ate it. Like crumbled apart. I've never had a dryer piece of bread, I'm not exaggerating. The Mexican omelette was ok. It had huge chunks of crabmeat on it along with the eggs and hollandaise... it was delicious. The decor is cool, definitely generates a conversation. The servers were attentive. Two reasons why they are not a 5 star: they need to check the floor under the tables between customers, ours hand a utensil and napkins on the floor and it was noisy, almost little to noisy for us...however neither of these reasons would prevent us from going again.
