I have had a love and dislike relationship with Ceremony Coffee Roasters, but I feel like I finally know where it stands for me. They offer some really creative drinks, and sometimes the flavors are a little too bold for my taste, especially when they mix things like juice into an espresso latte. But their holiday seasonal drinks get me every single time. We have tried the "Over the River and Through the Woods," the hot chocolate, the cinnamon crunch latte, and the mistletoe toasted marshmallow, and I have enjoyed all of them! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also appreciate that their hours are longer, which makes it a great spot to get work done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I will say the seating is not the most comfortable if you are in the booth with the wooden seats, but it still works when you need a change of scenery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food has been hit or miss for me, but recently it has been more of a hit. I am still wanting to try something from their pastry bin because everything in there looks phenomenal! Looking especially at the sweet potato pastry! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, I think this place works well if you know what you are coming in for. The drinks are good, the atmosphere is solid, and the location right by the water makes it even better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This was the best of the relatively weak class of pourovers I had in Baltimore. At least it was weighed correctly though it was a bit watery as well so maybe that's a regional thing in Baltimore. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Took away a star for the super uncomfy metal chairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We must push back on the tyranny of square metal chairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is prime real estate in harbor point, and I've been coming here for years. I went recently on a weekday and this place is always filled with a lot of people working studying, etc. even on weekends actually. I'm usually a purist and usually get an iced americano, or just an espresso but today I wanted to get a treat. I customized a latte (one of their specials) so instead of getting one syrup I swapped to another. It ended up being $9! I was shocked at the price and then the barista forgot the cold foam and proceeded to dump most of coffee to add cold foam. I was so shocked at how rude the staff was. It wasn't even busy when I went! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I usually love the all glass windows and quiet ambience, but it's kind of lost its appeal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What a shame because I do think their coffee is good, and they're a co-op which I love but you have to have good service as there's so many other coffee shops opening in the area, and for a $9 SMALL latte? Skip the fancy speciality drinks and just get a regular espresso - you'll be happier with the price and lackluster service.

I'm a fan of Ceremony Coffee Roasters, so my friends and I stopped by after lunch while walking around Inner Harbor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is spacious with lots of seating, so we didn't have a hard time finding a table for the three of us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] POUR OVER - MKT Price The barista recommended the Sumatra Kerinci single origin (6.25), a honey process from Indonesia. It had a really unique flavor that was bright and juicy, yet floral and mellow at the same time. I liked it so much that I bought a bag of beans (21) to enjoy at home. Solid coffee all around. The pour over was great today, and I've enjoyed other coffee options like the seasonal espresso and tonic at other locations.

Matcha Latte with whole chunks of ice
    Azmayn N.

I ordered Matcha Latte large size with less ice and 2% milk but they filled the whole cup with ice. The guy who was making my drink poured whole milk into the cup as i was waiting for the drink. I don't recommend getting your coffee/tea from here.

Still one of my favorite spots in Baltimore to grab a coffee. the quality of coffee here is excellent, lots of creative options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have enough space to sit and enjoy your coffee and get a little work done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service here is friendly and welcoming. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The surrounding area is nice to walk around close enough to fells point and harbor east.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Ceremony Coffee is a cool little coffee shop in Harbor Point offering an array of coffees, teas, and sweet treats. The price point is on the higher end, as expected for the area. Service was fast and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's ample space to plug in and work or just chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking can be a hassle but the area is quite walkable.

    Chooped bagel

If youre looking for a bagel with 1 atom of smoked salmon, barely any cream cheese, and served open face so all of the measly topping fall off in the first bite, served on a mid bagel that tastes like burnt cheese.. this is the place for you! Good coffee though

    Roast Beef Sandwich

I've gone to a few of their other locations, but I think this one is my favorite. The menu offers a selection of cold and hot brews, and a regularly update sign to tell you more about the day's roast. I am especially looking forward to exploring the rest of their tea selection, which isn't listed on their main menu, but next to the register as you order. I was delightfully surprised to see how generous their roast beef sandwich is, and I suggest to skip the side of chips and go straight to their salad 'cause their dressing is solid. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The view of the harbor, the park across the street, and easy street parking make this an ideal study spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place gets pretty packed, and the hours listed online vary across platforms, but the latest I've been here is around 6pm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I will say the worst thing about this place is the structural layout of the building itself-- large support columns disrupt the flow of the room, so its a bit disorienting if its your first time ordering there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I recommend this particular location to my friends if they're looking for a studious work cafe.

    Breakfast cragel sandwich

While visiting from out of town we stopped here for breakfast and coffee. We loved it so much that we ate here the following day! Very good coffee. I had a cortado one morning and a honey latte the next day. Both days we ordered the "cragel" breakfast sandwiches. Wow! One of the best breakfast sandwiches!! So much flavor and very filling. I could only eat half. The staff was quick to take our orders and the.get our orders out to us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Banana coconut latte
    Parisa A.

I was in the area and decided to get one of their seasonal items. Personally I wasn't a huge fan of it since it was heavy on the coconut flavor and not enough banana but would definitely try other items on their menu.

I'll definitely have to come back and try more offerings, but on a quick drop in, I had a good experience overall! They have a variety of tea and coffee options. I tried a hot tea, which was a decent flavor- but nothing to write home about. I also got a vegan cookie from a brand they sell in the shop, which was very sweet but still really good. It appears to be a good place to work, although there was a lot of traffic on race day when I stopped through . I'm curious to see how lively it is during the week. Service is as friendly and the atmosphere was nice overall. Fyi- parking might be a hassle, use the garage or pay for street parking.

The carrot cupcake is amazing. It's very tasty not sweet and it's very moist. It's a nice size cupcake. It's worth the price.

Anyone know how to get the app, or if it's still available?

The app is still available at the App Store but I don't believe it communicates with the store. I have ordered before on the app and when I arrive they don't have it and they have to make it at the moment. Hope this is helpful!

Starting with the food, everything is quality, with clean and fresh ingredients and an awesome menu with everything from burgers to breakfast sandwiches. The fries are great. The space is awesome. The downstairs is nice and eclectic, lively with great energy and the upstairs is a great place to get stuff done, quiet, comfortable, spacious. Cool couches and decorations that make you really feel like you're in a historic part of Baltimore. The staff is probably one of the best parts. I met the owner, Nikki, who's an absolute gem, gracious, kind and welcoming. The staff is super friendly and accomodating. Mike is great, really friendly and helpful. This place is definitely one of the best cafes I've ever been to and I've been to hundreds between NY, LA, and Miami... If you want a cool place to come hang out, potentially meet new people, and enjoy a great coffee, this is it. If you want a place where you can get work done comfortably and stay for a while, I highly recommend it.

My girlfriend and I stopped in on a Sunday morning, and while it was understandably very busy, we were still able to find a seat. The atmosphere is definitely the highlight -- it has a warm, inviting feel that makes it a great spot to relax, grab a bite, and enjoy a slow morning. The bagel sandwiches were so-so, and unfortunately the bagels themselves were a little underwhelming. For the price, we expected a bit more. The coffee was also a miss for us; it was very watery, and we ended up grabbing another coffee from a nearby shop afterward. Overall, Mindpub is a great place if you're looking for a cozy atmosphere, a baked good, or a casual sandwich in a charming setting. The space and vibe are excellent, but the food and coffee left a little to be desired.

SKIP THIS PLACE. If you do end up here, BE AWARE THEY WILL NICKEL AND DIME YOU…read more Met a friend here for 9:30am breakfast. shortly after being seated, a staff member decided to CRANK the music - it was Evanescence or something similar - either way it was obviously someone on staff's absolute favorite song and they decided to turn the volume so loud that it was difficult to have a comfortable conversation. It's 9:30am, I'm not trying to scream over 90s pop music to have a conversation with someone two feet away from me. The menu was a QR code on a dirty, laminated card stuck to the table. My friend and I each ordered an entree plus a short stack to share. Neither of our egg dishes came with toast so we ordered that on the side. All they offer is white, English muffin or biscuit. I ordered the white toast and it is the 2" thick, low quality, tasteless white bread they use for their French toast. Whatever. The utensils are one step above plastic - they are light-weight, cheap, rough edged crap you might imagine in a prison. Whatever. The plastic containers of half and half were already on the table, sitting there at room temp. Again, whatever. The waitress dropped off the bill, said to use the QR code to pay unless we were using cash, then took off. If we wanted to split the bill, I guessed we would need to wait for her to come back around. So, I offered to pay the astoundingly high bill. I open the QR link and the first things that popped are the tip options with 20% pre-selected. All told the bill was $97 for two people. When I got home I glanced at the itemized bill: *They charged us $16 for two cups of coffee with one refill each. *a 20 % tip was already included! Apparently, they add 20% onto checks over $50. Of course it's over $50 when you charge $16 for mugs of coffee, and $$ for sides of crappy white toast. Make no mistake, this is my fault for paying with the QR code and not combing through the itemized bill first. I guess I'm not used to going to neighborhood joints expecting to get fleeced. My suggestion: go around the corner to Spoons Cafe on Cross St: high quality food and you won't feel robbed blind when you look at the bill.

I went on a Saturday morning around 9:45 and waited about 25 minutes for a table for 2. The menu is EXTENSIVE and they have an option for pretty much anything you're in the mood for! I got the Mexican egg scramble and the pumpkin pancakes to share. The prices might seem slightly on the higher side for a breakfast place, but once you get your food you'll understand why. The portions are generous and the food is delicious! I ended up taking half of the food home and I genuinely looked forward to eating it as leftovers - which fed me for multiple meals. 12/10 would recommend the pumpkin pancakes no matter what season it is. They come with white chocolate chips, fruit, and a caramel drizzle on top. The French toast also looked incredible so I'll be sure to order that the next time I go! I

Short answer: absolutely worth it!Long answer: I'm already thinking about my next excuse to come back. Walking in, the space immediately delivers. The aesthetic is awesome-- the kind of intentional, beautifully designed interior that feels warm and curated rather than staged. It's trendy without being cold, and the Inner Harbor location makes it that much more special. I know there is a huge renovation planned "down the harbor" , this Matriarch is ALREADY READY! You get all the energy of the waterfront with a cozy, tucked-in feel once you're inside. Now, the coffee. I got a latte that was genuinely one of the better cups I've had in a long time -- smooth, rich, perfectly pulled. I also had a Chai and paired it with a cherry & cheese danish that was fresh and delicious, the ideal complement to the drink. I asked for it heated and it was hot all the way through. Hate it when I get it and it is cold in the middle...the barista understood the assignment and got us right! Everything felt thoughtful, like someone in that kitchen actually cares about what they're putting out -- because they do. Speaking of which -- I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and it all made sense. Warm, passionate, and clearly proud of what they've built. Shirts, cups, napkins, and merch that says "I love my Matriarch" is a reminder of the "Why" behind this spot I think. That kind of energy flows through the entire space and staff. You feel it the moment you walk in. The Matriarch isn't just a coffee shop. It's a destination. If you're in Baltimore, this is a must. If you're outside the city -- make the drive. Trust me. See you soon, Matriarch!
