There are a ton of good reviews but I want impressed by the coffee. The espresso was way too dark (and bitter) and the milk was steamed pretty badly so it was just a blob sitting on top. I'm assuming the pour overs are better (and lighter roasts). The person running the place was super nice and helpful but i won't go back for any coffee. read more

Cafe Los Suenos is a no frills coffee shop located in Remington. The shop itself consists of a long bar with a handful of stools and a bathroom with a roasting area in back. The menu includes four espresso drinks, three cold drinks and four hot drinks. During my multiple visits I've sampled Cafe Los Suenos cold brew, latte with oat milk and the Americano. All of which have been excellent cups of coffee. My wife had a tea, they serve Wight's brand, which she said was "good". I've been meaning to hit Cafe Los Suenos for a long time! It's very conveniently located right off 83 which makes it easy to pop in and out for a quick brekkie on the go. The horchata latte is a MUST have. Perfectly sweet and seasoned. They get their baked goods from Ovenbird Bakery, one of my faves. The decor is so adorable and classy. No frills coffee shop - very charming. Seating in a bar style, one barista, a couple of pastries. Coffee was made quickly and was tasty. Barista recommended the blueberry scone but I found it dry and lacking. Maybe the other pastries would be better! Cute coffee shop specializing in single pour over coffees. Came for the first time with my husband on Sunday morning. Looks like they don't open til 8am so if you need coffee earlier, that could be a problem! Free street parking out front and in the surrounding neighborhood. There are about 10 or so bar seats inside but we got our coffees to go. Told the barista we had never been before and she gave us some samples of a few coffees which was very nice! We each got our own pour over - I preferred the light roast. I'm normally a latte fan but since they said pour overs are their thing, I wanted to try something else and glad I did! It was pretty flavorful cup black, but I added a bit of h&h and some sugar. I'd say this is a place for people who REALLY like coffee - not the sugary sweet stuff. But the "less sweet" hot chocolate is wonderful, the best we have had in decades. If you're an adult, do try the less sweet option. What a welcome addition to the neighborhood! I stopped into Cafe Los Suenos for a quick afternoon caffeine fix. I love that this spot is open until 3pm unlike some other coffee shops in the area that close around lunch time. As soon as I walked in, I received a warm greeting from both baristas! Seriously, the staff here is SO kind. The inside of the store is airy, refreshing, and clean. The coffee bar includes a few seats that look like upcycled diner stools - very cute! The outside of the storefront is very bright and colorful and also features a few benches. The barista explained the different offerings to me and mentioned that all the coffee is brewed fresh daily using the pour over method (I'm not a coffee expert so they could probably explain it better than me). I ended up going with a hot latte with oat milk. Oat milk is a 50 cent upcharge which is not uncommon nowadays but almond milk is free I'm pretty sure. The latte came out quick and was wonderfully strong! The barista also gave me one of their punch cards so I can keep earning points towards a free cup of coffee. This establishment is also Latinx owned with the owner originally hailing from El Salvador. It's really an amazing story of how a young man working in coffee fields came to America to roast coffee in his very own shop. Overall, I am really happy there's another great coffee shop in the area and look forward to supporting such an awesome business! read more

Still great. Updating because I just love the quality of the coffee so much I want to emphasize to people that if you are a true coffee lover this its the place to be. We've gotten freshly roasted Sumatra twice in a row in make cold brew at home and it is making the perfect flavorful and smooth cold brew where the rich chocolate notes of the beans come in. I love the simplicity of the menu and how it focuses on coffee and not the sugary additives you can put in coffee to make it sound fancy. If you're a coffee purist and love high quality coffee, great spot for an Americano. We gift these beans to our friend who is a coffee snob and he just loves it as well! I am not a super big coffee drinker but i decided to try this place out none the less. The service was great; my barista was knowledgeable about the different beans they had available and made me a cup of pour over coffee. It was an entirely new experience for me. The coffee I had was the perfect temperature and pleasant to drink, not hard to get down at all. I also got the last chocolate chip cookie they had in their display and it was, no joke ,one of the best cookies I've had in my life. It was dense and tasted the most cookie-y of any other cookie I've tried. If you imagine a flavor called "fresh-baked cookie", it tasted like that. They sprinkled some sea salt and brown sugar on top which complemented the rich taste of the chocolate inside. I'll definitely be visiting again, it was a great experience.
