I've been here countless times over the last few years and it's always been a great experience. Sometimes I come for quick drink or other times I catch up with friends or study for a bit. It's definitely one of my favorite cafes in bmore. The staff here are extremely friendly! Genuinely have to stress the fact that they are so nice every time I've been there There are seasonal drinks crafted by the baristas and that's just such a cool concept. I try to stop by every season just to see what new things they have :) recently their banana praline latte was my favorite! There's also coffee beans you can buy and the Destroyer is my fav for sure.

I went two days in a row because it's a great place to get some work done. The coffee wasn't bad either.

I got one of their Summer Seasonal Drinks, the Beach Bum ($7.50), which was a banana coconut oat milk latte and it was delicious. It did take a while for my drink to be made, but they were busy. There were a lot of people working inside on their laptops and just chatting around. They do have outdoor seating that is dog friendly. There is a unisex bathroom in the back as well. I saw they had a room for workshops as well which I thought was cool. Street parking can be limited, but Ceremony is definitely worth the caffeine hook up.

Beautiful interior! We sat near the back and the noise level was comfortable enough to have a conversation in. My drink was a seasonal coffee and it was delicious! I also enjoyed my breakfast sandwich.

I haven't been to this location since the pandemic so I've actually never been inside. Ceremony sells a lot of chemex items! This might be the biggest coffee shop in the city and maybe in all of the state and quite possibly all of America. I used to be obsessed with ceremony coffee when I first moved to Maryland, but now they are so many other coffee stores near me. The coffee here is always solid. I've actually never had anything to eat. Their seasonal teas are OK and their chai is pretty good. Do not get the apple cider espresso because it does not work, sadly. And I like orange and banana in my coffee. The staff here is really good at working quickly as there are so many patrons here. It's definitely a study vibe versus a chat and hang out type place. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and they were a lot of people working.

Fantastic coffee shop in Baltimore. I came in for a marathon study session for NP boards and fueled it with a vanilla chai latte. It's one of the best chai's I've had in a long time. Not too "spicy" and not bland. Also not too vanilla-y. I then changed it up and got a hazelnut latte. Again, fantastic and beautiful art to top it off! The service was great, the place was clean, including the bathrooms. Now, there aren't a lot of outlets so come with full batteries just in case. That being said, they didn't seem to mind that I was there for 3 hours, whereas other places without a ton of outlets seem to do it purposefully and aren't fans of the WFH/study crowd. I didn't have the appetite to eat but everything I saw looked very fresh and tasty! I'm not in Baltimore often, but I'm definitely adding this to my list of go-to coffee shops!

My love of coffee and coffee shops led me to Ceremony Coffee Roasters while I was in Baltimore. This coffee shop was a short walk from my hotel which was in downtown Baltimore so even the walk there was pleasant. Upon entering there's a sense of open welcoming. The place is open and light with people studying, meeting or just enjoying the coffeehouse. They offer the standard coffee, coffee drinks, and pastries. However, was impressed with their supply of coffee accessories! I ordered an iced vanilla latte and a Swedish bun. The Swedish bun was fabulous! Imagine cinnamon roll with cardamom! I love that they have a "workshop" area which I noticed in my way out through the back. Maybe my favorite was the beautiful ginkgo trees outside the coffeehouse....beautiful! The coffee was great and the service was even better. I was told I could purchase some of their coffee beans online but didn't see that I could. So, until next time!!!!

My go to spot for studying and getting work done! I love ceremony because there's always plenty of tables and spots with outlets. There's a ton of windows so a lot of natural light gets in. I tried the fields in bloom matcha this time and the yuzu was subtle and refreshing. The staff are also super nice.

I love love love this place. Coffee can be a bit pricey but I'd rather support a local business vs Star.....you get my drift. There are many beverage selections, hot or cold. The baristas always make the best recommendations. I feel like this is a place of belonging for everyone. Some folks are working on creative projects and your typical 9-5'ers. I usually get coffee but today opted for the Fire of Love speciality drink. Super delicious but I was expecting more glitter in the drink lol to give the sparkly effect. But it was good nonetheless. Great concept just needed better execution in terms of the sparkle effect.

I enjoy coming to work on my laptop or read here during off hours. Ceremony has some of my FAVORITE nitro cold brew that is available on tap. I have to call ahead cause they're occasionally out of the stuff needed to infuse the cold brew. The new menu items, both permanent and seasonal, are FANTASTIC! During thr beginning of the pandemic they cut back a little but I love all of the new variety from the past year or so. Ceremony also pays their staff a consistent wage that is above most local cafes. To my neighbors, please tip your baristas at Ceremony! They do more than just "pour drinks" and taste the coffee by the hour to ensure its quality. They train for weeks to be where they are! This location gets BUSY. During the school year there are a lot of college kids and even students from the local academies (kids that yound drink coffee each morning?!) but it's still very spacious if your doing take out. I recommend going elsewhere to work/read/concentrate during peak hours. The cafe itself is very "contemporary modern bougie" and kinda feels... sterile? But I like that vibe when I'm in the mood! Great local (to Annapolis) coffee, great part of the neighborhood, BEST staff!

I have visited this lovely coffee establishment for at least 5 years now and I have watched it grow, change, and grow again. The food is great for quick bites like a bagel or biscuit, but it is tad pricy. I am glad to hear prices are basic coffees, like an espresso, are back down to approximately $3-$4, because I believe Ceremony Roasters thrives best through coffee bean sales and speciality coffees. Today, I had the joy of trying the Banana Nut Praline, it is SO delicious and sweet! I love that it is defaulted for Oat Milk. Service is fast and smooth, staff are friendly and welcoming. The cafe is an excellent space to co-work, hold meetings, or be inspired by the environment to innovate and create. Parking wise, street parking can get busy or booked quick.

Lovely coffee shop and roastery in the Mount Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. I ordered the seasonal special "Sunset Boulevard" which was an oat milk latte with house made orange honey syrup and chrysanthemum buds. It was delicious and beautiful, and I love that the syrups were made in house as well. Service was friendly and efficient. This was a quick stop before we headed to DC via the MARC at Penn Station so apologies for forgetting to photograph the actual drinks. They post their specials on social media so check out their Instagram!

Great location with tons of street parking available. Fast, friendly service. Dined in, items were served on ceramic plate & glass cup , nice touch! Latte was unexpectedly delicious. Scone was out of this world! 10 out of 10, highly recommend.

During my most recent visit, it was the Bangkok that caught my eye. This drink, which was vegan as is, featured Vegan Condensed Milk, Espresso, Oat Milk and Nutmeg. It was a very light, not overly sweet drink. Score another one for Vent. The ambiance of Vent is pretty interesting as one side of its warehouse inside is a cafe with bar, table and bench seating and the other is the roastery. I love to order my drink and then watch the roasters do their magic. Vent has a lot of merch, bags of coffee, canned cold brews, etc for sale in their small shop. Previously I've purchased some of their bags and canned cold brews. Both were exceptional. I'm not in Vent's area often but when I am, I make it a point to stop for a visit.

In fact, during the week they close at 6pm which is pretty generous hours for the area. Every time I come in, there's plenty of people remote working from one of the many cafe tables or at the bar. The ambiance is quiet and relaxing, unlike other coffee shops where music or conversations might be loud. The prices are typical for their speciality lattes, around $7 on average. I recently ordered their seasonal caramel latte and it was delicious. Perfectly sweet with a beautiful foam heart on the top! I wish I took a pic. I will definitely be back and need to add Vent into my regular rotation of WFH spots.

Short answer: absolutely worth it!Long answer: I'm already thinking about my next excuse to come back. Walking in, the space immediately delivers. The aesthetic is awesome-- the kind of intentional, beautifully designed interior that feels warm and curated rather than staged. It's trendy without being cold, and the Inner Harbor location makes it that much more special. I know there is a huge renovation planned "down the harbor" , this Matriarch is ALREADY READY! You get all the energy of the waterfront with a cozy, tucked-in feel once you're inside. Now, the coffee. I got a latte that was genuinely one of the better cups I've had in a long time -- smooth, rich, perfectly pulled. I also had a Chai and paired it with a cherry & cheese danish that was fresh and delicious, the ideal complement to the drink. I asked for it heated and it was hot all the way through. Hate it when I get it and it is cold in the middle...the barista understood the assignment and got us right! Everything felt thoughtful, like someone in that kitchen actually cares about what they're putting out -- because they do. Speaking of which -- I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and it all made sense. Warm, passionate, and clearly proud of what they've built. Shirts, cups, napkins, and merch that says "I love my Matriarch" is a reminder of the "Why" behind this spot I think. That kind of energy flows through the entire space and staff. You feel it the moment you walk in. The Matriarch isn't just a coffee shop. It's a destination. If you're in Baltimore, this is a must. If you're outside the city -- make the drive. Trust me. See you soon, Matriarch!

We had the matcha latte, and a menu special: solar eclipse which was chai with expresso macadamia nut milk and lavender syrup. Matcha was good flavor and quality. The drink special I pass, I gave it a fair try but it didn't taste good- there was a very acidic taste at the end.
