Strawberry Matcha and Latte
Shaelyn H.

Stopped in here to grab a warm drink with a friend and it's a very cute coffee shop! I ordered the strawberry matcha which was okay but lacked strawberry flavor in my opinion. My friend ordered a latte and she really enjoyed it.

Pumpkin spiced latte

I have been wanting to try Adee's Coffee Roasters for awhile and I'm happy I did today. While my latte was very expensive, the coffee was smooth and the pumpkin spiced flavoring was not too strong. Service was so quick and great. The coffee shop is busy with people working and extremely quiet. The bar inside looks so cute and fun for night time. The bathrooms and coffee shop were clean. Metered parking is available in the area and it's usually easy to find a spot.

Adee's is that hidden gem that feels like home from the moment you walk in. The energy is warm, the staff is welcoming, and the food? Straight-up comfort with flavor that sticks with you. I ordered the salmon toast and margarita flat bread idid not disappoint -- perfectly seasoned, and packed with fresh flavor in every bite. And the drinks 10/10.

"Iced" Orange Blossom tea with no ice....not even cold $3.75

I stopped by Adee's Coffee & Bar and ordered the salmon and avocado toast on multigrain ($13). It came with smoked salmon, cream cheese, avocado, cilantro, chia and flax seeds, and tomato. It is supposed to come with a side of fruit, but when I got it, they gave me three small pieces of celery instead. I asked about it since their online menu said "side of fruit," and the girl behind the counter told me they didn't have any. I said I'd rather not have celery and if they could substitute something else? She went to check and came back with a small sauce cup that had maybe half a strawberry, two grapes, and three blueberries. Not sure why she said they didn't have fruit and then brought that out, but okay. The toast itself was good though. I liked the addition of the chia and flax seeds for some texture. I also got an iced orange blossom tea ($3.75) and they charged an extra 50 cents for simple syrup, which felt a little much. It's not like I was getting a flavored syrup - it was literally just sugar in my tea... When I got the tea, it didn't have any ice left in it. It seemed like they poured it hot over ice so it just melted and ended up super diluted. I also ordered a large cold brew ($5) with vanilla flavor (+ $1.25). They don't have a ton of flavor options compared to other coffee spots, which is kind of a bummer. The space itself is nice though. There is a lot of seating, a bar area with cocktails, and some outdoor tables. There is also an accessible spot right out front, but otherwise parking is mostly street and can be limited. Overall, the place is fine, but it feels like they nickel and dime you for everything. Charging 50 cents for sugar in my tea and $1.25 for flavoring is a bit much, especially when the experience doesn't quite match the price point.

Size of small for reference.

Had a terrible first experience here - Ordered coffee for pickup at 6:45 (from their own online system) and was immediately greeted so rude about how "I can't come inside because they don't open until 7." Their online system gave me the option to pick up a coffee at 6:15 so this person being so rude and almost letting me not stand in the store to wait for my drink was way out of line. Second - the cost of this latte and cappuccino was egregious. It was $5 for a drink literally smaller than the size of my palm. On top of that, it tasted like burnt coffee. All in all, a terrible experience and for someone who drinks coffee once in a blue moon, I would never recommend this place. VVV in response to her comment below - The order system tells you that the drink is available for pick up at 6:15, like it told me I was able to pick it up at 6:45 am. The standard size for a cappuccino is actually 6 ounces.

Wow, I enjoyed my time at this establishment. There is a warm and cozy vibe and alot of different seating options. They even have seating for larger groups. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. The food was also really good. The pastrami was a big hit with both my sister and myself. The relish was a little to salty but once you remove some of it it was perfect. The avocado toast was a little of a miss because it lacked flavor and the bread need a little more toasting. The chai teas was really yummy. I asked for it in a mug but was served it in a togo cup. I was not happy about that, but I just accepted it. The lavender matcha was a 5/5 and the ices brown sugar cinnamon shaken espresso was also a 5/5 Areas for improvement 1) better utensils 2) better coffee presentation and fulfilling the right order request.

Wow! This place was more spacious than expected. There is a ton of seating whether you want more of a booth or a cozy chair. I was surprised to see a bar on the inside as well. Bathrooms were clean. Upon entering and looking at the drink menu, there was someone there to help right away. They were patient while my friend and I figured out what we wanted to get. Matcha tonic w/ lavender 7/10 Although tonic with my matcha is not my style. You can expect this to be a matcha soda essentially. It was good! Just not my preference. Iced pumpkin spice latte 10/10 I've been missing fall so this was a great choice for August ! The flavor was full and not watered down. I genuinely enjoyed this latte and will be back to try other flavors !!

We had brunch at Blue Moon Cafe and were right around the corner from Adee's. It's very spacious and pretty. It's connected to their Tulip shop. The young lady who took our order was friendly and the service was great. My latte was absolutely perfect, I wish I would have ordered a larger size. I'd love to go back next time I'm in town sit and work for few hours, or meet friends for coffee. They also have pastries and I believe sandwiches.

Salted Caramel latte and cheese danish

As we all know there are so many coffee shops in Baltimore! I heard this place was a must try so I went on a wfh day and it was great! I tried the salted caramel latte and added vanilla syrup along with a warm cheese danish. The barista was very nice and I found a perfect spot to do some work and enjoy my latte. It was nice and sweet, I could taste all of the flavors and the cheese danish was a perfect addition. Definitely will go back when I need to change up my scenery.

Gave Adee's another try and was sadly disappointed again. My boyfriend was curious about what beans were being used and tried inquiring about the Ethiopian coffee but the cashier didn't really understand what was going on. He ended up getting the Ethiopian coffee but it severely lacked flavor and was just basic bean water for a much more expensive price. My shaken espresso needed more milk, it didn't feel shaken either which is odd. We didn't get food this time since we had a mid experience last time. It was surprisingly really busy. Just wish the flavor was better.

Fells Tonic

Fortunately, Adee's was a block away from where we grabbed food and they had an espresso tonic which is what I was craving this past Saturday afternoon! The barista wasn't very friendly which made it a bit awkward when asking for recommendations. FELLS TONIC Espresso tonic is usually a hit or miss for me, but this one was neither. The tonic was sweeter than I would like, and I would have preferred a stronger espresso flavor with my drink. The tonic had the perfect carbonation and the sweetness didn't have any weird aftertastes. Overall, not bad but not great. The interior has a minimal aesthetic, pretty spacious to sit around and stay for a bit if that's what you're looking for.

Traditional Acai bowl
Michelle B.

I have driven past Adee's a few times and was finally able to stop by. Adee's is VERY popular as it has a ton of indoor seating and even though I came on a Saturday afternoon, was packed with people chatting or studying or working on their computers here. Service was fast and there is public wifi available to use. Strawberry Matcha 1/5, whew okay this was definitely a Baltimore matcha experience. The matcha itself was very dilute and could hardly be tasted which one could theoretically expect if the main flavor profile (strawberry in this case) were to overpower the drink. However, the strawberry syrup used was not a sheer liquid but rather more similar to a viscous jelly that settled at the bottom of the drink and was hard to mix into the drink to flavor it. Thus, the drink ended up tasting like a sweet milk drink with minimal matcha and minimal strawberry. This was also pricy given how the drink actually tasted. Acai bowl 4/5, ok so my issue here is not the taste. I liked the acai as well as the toppings provided. That said, this bowl cost $11 when for its size it should have been around $8-$9. Do not order this if you are actually hungry and want a healthier alternative to eat, you will not be full.

chai latte
Josie

I came here to study and was pleased with the natural lighting, strong wifi, ample seating and plenty of outlets. It's a cute place that is very trendy with black and gold marble table tops + velvet seating. My chai latte with almond milk was okay, a bit watery. The cafe closes pretty late so I imagine it changes into a more bar vibe later in the day but I was there for a few hours in the early afternoon.

The service from the bartenders was not so great or welcoming. When I asked about the espresso martini and asked for it without lavender, the bartender made way too big of a deal. The espresso martini is pre-made. I opted for a vodka soda and it was pretty hard to drink. The menu feels limited. They do not have pineapple, Red Bull, or many other popular mixes. Positively, prices are very good, especially compared to the other bars in the area. I would like to go back and try the food because it smelled amazing and hopefully find something better to drink on the menu that I like!

There's a back area, sort of like a dinning room, with little booths for those wishing for some privacy. The red lights gives the bar that good old 1920s (prohibition) feel. I felt at any moment the authorities would swing through the door forcing us to hide our drinks. **Wild thoughts** Kyle made a cocktail he's "been working on" and he needs to put that shxt on the menu asap! So delicious. It was late night and I stayed here about an hour (closed the spot ha) and I was able to enjoy a mini impromptu concert by another patron Ebony, as Kyle was sweet enough to play some of her music. All in all, a perfect end to my evening. High recommendation for Rye. The End.

This one was an unexpected gem and one of the most memorable stops of our Fells Point trip…read more We walked in on a Thursday night (not sure of the exact time), and it was completely empty. No bartender in sight, no other patrons, no background noise. For a moment, we genuinely wondered if we were in the right place. The bar is down a flight of stairs, tucked into the basement, and it's notable because it's Fells Point's only and possibly first basement bar, which already gives it serious character points. We waited near the bar for a few minutes, heard nothing, saw no one, and eventually started heading back up the stairs to leave. That's when Steve, the bartender, literally came after usnot in a weird way, but in a very human, "Hey! Sorry about that, I was in the stock room come back in!" way. And honestly? From that moment on, the experience completely flipped. Steve was phenomenal. Friendly, welcoming, deeply knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the place. He's worked there for 18 years, and once we sat down, he turned the bar into a living history lesson. He shared stories about Fells Point, Baltimore, Edgar Allan Poe, the building itself, and all the ghost stories tied to the space. He also told us about the celebrities who've passed through, including the fun detail that Blake Shelton once sat in the very bar stool I was sitting in and ordered a Bullet bourbon. Naturally, that kind of trivia just adds to the charm. Drink-wise, I ordered an Angry Orchard, and my friend had a single Tito's with cranberry and soda water. Our total was $26.16, which feels pretty standard for Baltimore definitely not cheap, but not shocking either. The bar itself is small, intimate, and packed with atmosphere exposed brick, low ceilings, and that cozy, historic, slightly haunted vibe you hope for in a basement bar. It's also connected to The William Fell Inn hotel through a separate entrance, which makes it feel like a hidden secret rather than a tourist stop. We loved the history, the stories, the ghosts, the setting and especially Steve. Being the only patrons that night was actually a gift, because it let us really soak it all in. That said, we're absolutely planning to come back on a busy night to see how the energy shifts when it's full. If you love historic bars, good storytelling, and places that feel like they've seen things Anchor Bar is a must. ‍

It starts with a regular old fashioned, then once you've sipped out about an inch, they put a bunch of herbs on top and light them on fire with a kitchen torch. The result is a whole second cocktail experience. Well worth the $21. They also serve food, and if you're not sure what you're in the mood for, you are in luck - they serve food from both restaurants upstairs, Duck Duck Goose and Osteria Pirata. This is an old school basement bar with the decor and lighting to match. It is not a highly polished, brand new speakeasy with mood lighting. This place has been mixing cocktails behind the same wooden bar since flared jeans were in fashion the first time. Definitely worth a stop. The bartender, Steve, is a real treat. He wouldn't tell us any ghost stories, but did tell us that this is potentially one of the most haunted places in town.

For food, I started with the crudo, which was super fresh and beautifully done -- light, bright, and the perfect way to kick off the meal.
