The place is small but all breads are very delicious. You have to go there and enjoy itread more

you know this place has to be good when people are willing to wait outside on a rainy day to try…read morethis place. i got the tamago sando, guava croissant and the chausson aux champignon. all were recommondations from the cashier and the tamago sando also from someone in line. To be honest the tamago sando was a solid sandwich and maybe i should have toasted it but i was getting it to go to bring while traveling... was nothing mindblowing. however, the guava croissant was AMAZING. the lamination, the texture, that wonderful crunch and fresh guava taste with balanced sweetness brightened up the gloomy day! I happily ate it quite quickly in one sitting after the sando despite how big it was. When I got back to atlanta i tried the chausson aux champignon a bit without it toasted and also toasted and it was TOO GOOD both ways! i enjoyed the mushrooms as they brought soo much good umami goodness to my tastebuds along with the mushroom aioli served with it! I really want to visit baltimore if only for a layover again so i can pickup more delightful pastries! I tried their seasonal brown sugar hojicha coffee latte and that was great as well! and oopsies i forgot to take a picture of the chausson aux champignon but it looks like a turover! although there was a line, i had a lovely conversation with a few nice people in front of me so the wait wasn't bad at all!

The wonderful Jaydein welcomed us to Vaccaro's Pastry shop. I've been to the other location in…read morelittle Italy many times, but never to this one on O'Donnell Street. Jaydein's lovely personality infuses the whole place with his positive energy. He loves their cookies and gelato as much as I do and is still excited to suggest new flavours. Of course their Pignoli nut cookies are still my childhood favourite, but tonight we were wowed by the slim round Raisin Walnut Cookies located on the top shelf to the far right. I also love their Biscotti, my favourites being the pistachio and the one with dried cranberries. We ate a bunch in store to try them out and then bought another large box to go. This is a must stop if you love Italian cookies.

Vaccaro's is so awesome! Went on a Sunday for lunch and it was not crowded at all - we were served…read moreimmediately! We each got a sandwich- we got og mufalata, Classico , and tono Diablo! They were all so good! Sizes were quite generous we ate half and took home the rest for later. The tuna was pretty spicy - the Classico had a great mayo pesto with great content of meat and the mufalata had the olive spread that was so tasty . We also got fresh made cannolis which were so good- the shell was fresh and crispy and the ricotta was so creamy- it was probably a little on the soft side and looked like mush but tasted delish- we also got a box of mixed cookies which I think is overpriced (30 dollars a pound) but they truly are fresh and delicious - I especially liked cannoli cookie and almond - ambience is basic but nostalgic and fun to enjoy- they also have gelato but we did not try- will come back!
