The flowers were unique and very fresh. It was almost like visiting a little garden. The pricing is upfront and very reasonable. The quality and freshness of the flowers beats any grocery store arrangement by far. I loved the experience of being able to pick my own flower and create an original arrangement. The staff is super friendly and knowledgable. Parking is a little annoying but its expected for the area. I just popped in after I ordered a latte next-door, and I saw a few plants immediately that I was drawn to that looked very healthy and the price was more than reasonable, especially considering one of them came in a real pot and not a temporary planter! ($17 for a potted plant and about $10 for a smaller non potted plant). I felt like it was fate and that I needed to buy these plants so if you are a plant lover, this is definitely a cute little spot to pick up a little plant or two! Additionally, the service was really great. I can't remember her name, unfortunately, but the woman behind the counter was so so friendly, and gave me lots of pointers on what the plants that I selected needed, so it was really great to have that advice from her as well. They also of course, sell flowers! I have to return one day to buy some of their lilies

Jacque answered the phone with such a cheerful and energetic voice! She was thrilled to help me with my special order and made suggestions when I told her the occasion and colors. Then I asked her about the shop and she told me that her grandfather started the business in 1930 with its original location in the Lord Baltimore Hotel. We wanted to arrange flowers ourselves for a memorial party and Avalon was so helpful in picking types of flowers that would fit the vibe and color palette we were looking for. All I had to tell her was the event, sizes and quantity of vases and about my grandmothers personality and she designed the order perfectly! She took the stress out of having to choose my own and place a bulk order online, she is so detail oriented and even chose greenery that would accent the flowers chosen. She even timed when to take them out of fridges and when to cut them so they opened perfectly for the event time. Everyone at the party raved about how wonderful the flowers looked and knew my grandmother would have loved them. If I had to do this on my own it would have been terrible, I definitely would not have known to order certain types and colors that Avalon knew would add pops of color & detail like we wanted. She is an artist at her craft and I cannot wait to order from Enchanted Petals again! Even the value was much better than other florists and bulk stores. Thanks so much to the enchanted petals team.

I still remember when I was old enough to go inside, and the wonderland of their greenhouse. The color, the fragrance... I truly think that greenhouses might be amongst my happy places, and Dundalk Florist's greenhouse in the spring does not disappoint. The anniversary of Jeremy's brother's death is coming up, so we decided to go to Dundalk Florist to pick out some sort of arrangement to send to their mother. While Jeremy was dealing with that, I struck up a conversation with another employee who said she clocked us when we came in as fellow nerds, because of my patch-covered bookbag, and Jeremy's strong Trekkie vibe. We ended up BSing for at least 20 minutes. I love it when conversation isn't awkward and employees don't seem to mind talking to make customers feel welcome. If you have people in your life who are impossible to shop for for birthdays or holiday gifts, Dundalk Florist has got your back. They have a wide variety of non-floral gifts: jewelry, handbags, knicknacks, stuffed animals... The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because they can be a bit expensive. I understand this kind of pricing comes with being an independent retailer. You're always going to spend a little more when you support local. Also, if you decide to use Dundalk Florist for sending flowers, but you don't have time to visit the store, they have a website but customers should pay attention because big, nationwide florists have bought the top search results. Make sure that you are on the florist's website. If you get screwed over by the large, national chains, Dundalk Florist cannot help you fix the problem. I don't know about you, but I like knowing there is a safety net when I ship flowers or gifts. We will definitely be back.
