I cannot recommend Perzynski & Filar Inc. enough. I'm from out of town and needed a custom wedding bouquet the day of for a bride. I called with a tight timeline, gave them the budget and color scheme, and they came through in a tremendous way. Within 15 minutes, they had created the most beautiful, thoughtful bouquet that looked like it had been planned for weeks. To top it off, the woman who helped me, possibly the owner (I didn't catch her name, but I wish I had!), was already outside waiting for me as I pulled up, bouquet in hand. Talk about service. If you're anywhere near Baltimore and need a florist who's not only talented but incredibly kind and efficient, this is your place. Absolute lifesavers. read more

Did one flower arrangement for a daughter for a special occasion and was terrific! Would use again

One group allowed in at a time per social distancing guidelines. Proprietor asked what the budget was and then crafted a bouquet accordingly. Quoted one price for a shamrock plant and then charged an extra $5. Keep an eye on that. In any case, nice local flower shop that probably has what you're looking for, great custom bouquets. read more

Had a beautiful time with Perzinski and Filar florists for Valentine's Day! My fiancé's favorite flowers are Orchids and we have a very specific vase that I was looking to put the flower in. I went in with only those two inputs and a general budget range and they took great care of me, making a bouquet beyond what I could even dream for a fraction of the cost of what I could have paid anywhere else or online. Thank you so much, will definitely be returning and recommending to anyone who has florist needs in the Baltimore area! read more

I haven't actually been to the location. However, I suggested this business originally to a friend of mine whom need to order a sympathy flower for a friend of hers fathers viewing. She was worried because she would be out of town when the flowers would be delivered. This business had sent her a photo of her arrangement ordered. Because my friend was out of the country she didn't receive the photo. I called the business and asked if they would be able to send me the photo so that I could share it with my friend out of town. They did so without a problem. My friend was very satisfied with the business and the arrangement. Yesterday after the business had closed I realized that I had not ordered a flower for my Aunts viewing. I went to the website and was still able to order an arrangement to be delivered today. I checked in with the company this morning to see if they had received my order. They were just getting in but, they checked and reassured me that delivery would happen today before the start of the viewing. When I arrived to the viewing I was totally satisfied with my ordered arrangement. I am very anal when it comes to flower arrangements. Let's just say thumbs up to this business. I had no complaints. I will use this business again when needed. Courtesy and promptness was everything. read more

One of the employees that works here has awful customer service. She doesn't listen so I had to repeat my request 3 times, has an attitude, and takes out her stress on customers. She kept repeating "it's Mother's Day weekend" multiple times, which apparently means you can't stay calm and get to use whatever tone you want to customers. I will not be ordering from here again because of this bad experience. read more

Perzynski and Filar Florist - So beautiful! - Florists Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

It's Doctor's Day and my coworkers and I wanted to show appreciation to an amazing doctor. Ordered flowers today indirectly through this florist and we are all completely disgusted. We ordered a premium arrangement and at best got no more than a few flowers in a vase. When we called the florist directly she did not want to make it right. She stated she only gets $35 from the online platform and that is all she could make. She would not make the actual arrangement we ordered because she needs to make money. Hello- we paid for an $80 dollar arrangement. Not our problem! Florist should not agree to work with this online platform. This florist does not care about her customers or the quality of arrangements she sells. read more

I called Perzynski and Filar Florist in Baltimore from Los Angeles, and I just caught them before they closed. They were on their way to their niece's graduation. They were so helpful and so kind and delivered the flowers the next day. My niece and her husband loved the flowers and sent me a photograph. The flowers were tasteful and the arrangement was really beautiful. read more

I was totally thrilled with the beautiful arrangement done by Perzynski and Filar for my mom's memorial service. They worked within my price range and gave me exactly what I wanted. I don't write reviews but I knew the minute I picked it up I wanted to give this business some "love" because I felt that's what they gave me with this lovely arrangement to honor my mom today. read more

Called Dundalk Florist and the actual florist and delivery came from these guys. We ordered flowers for Easter for my mom in her 70s. She was beyond happy at the gorgeous display but was even more impressed with the delivery man. Kept his distance but was courteous and polite and made her day. Thanks you!!! read more

I thought my experience was maybe an isolated one, but after reading Jinah's.... here's my Perzynski & Filar review. Called PF on a lazy Thursday afternoon to order flowers for delivery. The person who answered was rude, impolite and inpatient. I said I was going to try someone else and she quickly agreed. At least she did that part right. If you're too busy for my money, then I'm too busy to give it to you. read more

When my friend moved from NYC to Baltimore last year, I wanted to send her some kind of housewarming gift. I decided on a potted plant, hoping that she would think that having something to water would be fun and nice to look at (rather than something that might just break or get lost). (Of course, you could always end up killing the plant and feeling worse than if you'd broken or lost something, but it hasn't come to that...yet.) I came across this place after searching on the internet, and it is right around the corner from where she lives. Between a neighborhood shop in a city I wasn't familiar with and something like 1-800-flowers, which I've used before to pretty good results, I ended up taking a chance on the neighborhood place. It was totally worth it. I was able to order online (http://www.perzynskiandfilarflorist.com/) in the morning, and she got the plant barely an hour later. They must have just walked it over, which is what I had hoped for. The plant was in great shape, and now lives on a sunny windowsill. read more

I found this florist on google after having the idea to order my sister a centerpiece for Thanksgiving since I couldn't make it since I'm not in the area. I got the idea the day before Thanksgiving and placed a call that morning. I spoke to one of the florists and explained what I was looking for... basically it came down to how much I wanted to spend and a general idea of the centerpiece. They sounded really busy, and while my last minute order was less then ideal, they were friendly and were beyond patient with my order. My sister loved the arrangement and was really impressed that the owner herself walked the delivery over as they were only 2 blocks away. I'm really happy with the order, and above all else my sister said it made the table setting beautiful for the holiday! Thank you! read more

I called the day before I needed a delivery and a very sweet and helpful woman answered the phone. She was kind and patient as I looked on the website and asked questions about the flowers that would be available and was clear in her communication about which ones would be in the arrangement. We went over the card and what it would say, and she continued to guide me through the entire transaction with focus and caring attention. I got a call from my family member the next day thrilled with the flowers. I am grateful to be able to know of this gem of a florist shop and will certainly use again in the future! I didn't have time and was not located close to where my special friend's 31 year Army retirement was being held. Not being able to attend, I chose a closer friend to assist me in finding a quality florist, close to where my friend's event was, and a florist who could add the perfect touch for a special moment in my dear friends life. Perzynski and Filar was the best choice for this special occasion. Sure, I would've used those other guys, but why not add the personal touch which says I really am there with you? Thank you so much for your assistance, as a male not knowing how or what flowers to suit the occassion Perzynski and Filar took over and made it a wonderful experience. Teleflora-certified, but cheaper than teleflora. Their online ordering service is very convenient since I live on the west coast. I chose this place to send my sister birthday flowers because of reviews that said the staff was friendly. I placed an online order 10 days in advance, but decided to change the delivery address 3 days before delivery. So I called the store and the second I started talking to the lady, she was super rude! She acted as though I was asking for something ridiculous and that I was ruining her day. Not sure that I would return here because I can't stand bad service. Hopefully the flowers will still be fresh and beautiful. read more

Look, here is the deal: they do good work, but don't expect to be treated like a King or Queen. These folks have been around a while, and they are not going to pretend that your visit is the highlight of their day. Instead you, the customer, are going to need to act like an adult: figure out what you want, and ask for it. If you do that, you will be very pleased with the results. I walked in on the Friday before Easter (a fairly busy time) to get some flowers for my girlfriend, and got a beautiful, fairly priced arrangement within 20 minutes. read more

This is probably the best florist in Baltimore. I mean, I haven't tried them all so that may be slightly hyperbolic. I do, however, do dumb shit around the house from time to time, thus creating the need to send apology flowers to my lady friend. P & F always come through in a pinch. My lady friend is always very impressed that I am able to pick out such beautiful arrangements. Here's the thing, I don't. I just call them up and I say, "Hey, it's 'The Prophecy'. I did that thing again where I left the toilet seat up but this time I also drank a bunch of whiskey, accidentally locked myself out of the house at 4 am, and broke the window and her favorite picture frame as I was trying to get back in. So, I have $50 to spend and I need something that looks really awesome!" Then, they say, "We got it." Then I give them some of my treasure, and about 3-5 hours later these vases filled with beautiful flowers show up to my lady friend's place of business and she doesn't hate me anymore. The flowers are always fresh and stay looking alive for usually a couple weeks after I order them. Despite what others have said I have always found the employees to be overly friendly and helpful. Rock and roll. read more

I decided to give them a try, since they were close to where I work. I called on Friday morning for a Friday afternoon or Saturday morning delivery. The person who answered the phone seemed very surprised that I wanted to order centerpieces - only 6 for that day or the next day - not a big deal. I totally felt like I was ordering flowers from a pizza parlor! I asked for "Spring colors" - purple, yellow, pink, orange. She asked me what kind of flowers I wanted - "Daisies and Carnations?" she asked. I said for $30, I would like something nicer. She asked me what I wanted, instead of offering me suggestions. She asked me if they all had to match. Really? Whatever. When they arrived, they were white and red - looked more like Christmas time arrangements than spring time. Next time I find another florist. read more

I was hesitant to use them, given 2 poor customer service reviews and having very little patience for that, but I thought I would give a call and see. I live in California and my parents are in Baltimore and I wanted a centerpiece for their Christmas dinner table. I found many options on their website and called with what I had in mind- and it was a good $10 less for what I found on 1800flowers (whom I will not deal with again- it is too convoluted to use their online site to order and overseas operators were no help) Called up and the woman who answered was not unpleasant, not jumping with A+ customer service joy and it was Dec 23. I told her what I wanted and she let me know that they were out of the 3" pillar candles they showed and would I be ok with a substitute of 2 tapers? I was. Took the order and assured me it would be delivered on Dec 24. And that, they delivered and my mom was over the moon happy and they had been able to provide a special 3" taper candle after all. She was also impressed with the container it came in, which given the arrangement, did not require anything special, since you did not see it. My mom is keep this card and plans to use them again. So will I. The reason for 4 stars- they did not go above and beyond what was expected, but not disappointing at all. read more

I placed an order last Thursday for flowers to be delivered to my boyfriend's office for our anniversary. Due to my browser's auto-fill option my home address ended up in the company name field. I called immediately to correct -- they were very abrupt and borderline rude with me, but I was assured the change had been made. Fast forward to today and the flowers have been delivered to my apartment building, NOT his office. I called to discuss the matter and I was treated extremely rudely; the woman all but said that it was my fault. Her parting words? "Well that's how it is." I will not be ordering from them again. read more

Unfortunately, my first, and only, visit was an unsuccessful attempt to make a purchase. The flowers I was planning to buy were below their credit card minimum. The woman at the counter seemed flummoxed, so I left. If a coffee shop will let me charge a $4 cappuccino, why do retailers have these customer-hostile minimums? read more

I bought a bouquet for my fiancee today, and it was beautiful, and at a reasonable price. The service was quite friendly. (I think people should take the review above from Rick K. with a grain of salt, as this is a mom and pop shop, with a clearly posted sign about minimum required for credit card purchase of $20. Rick's comparison to a coffee shop does not make sense to me, as the economics of these places are quite different, and I think their credit card policy is quite reasonable.) I will definitely go back to Perzynski & Filar. read more

I have done an overseas order for the first time to Baltimore and it was a great disappointment. the website is not facilitated to customers out of the US as we cannot put in our contact number with our country code, and there is no customer service email to contact them, you would need to find the suitable time to give them a call ( the email on the website is invalid). As our timings are 14+ hours apart, there was some difficulty in contacting them, anyway, I finally contacted them and they said there is nothing that could be done about it ( surprisingly, they dint like the sound of it and the other lady across the phone is actually asking her to close the line on me! thank God, she did not because this would have been more than awful, only because I am calling from abroad does not give u the right to be rude and just because I called a month after doesnt give them any right not to receive my feedback! anyway after explaining to her why i called late and that their customer service is not working that she accepted to listen to me and said this is the best that they could substitute my order with . My order that costed me around 130 dollars looked like a 70 dollar order and they said this is the best that they could substitute it with. if i could upload photos, i would have sent everything in details. the vase difference, the difference in flowers and quantity and the overall arrangement. I think I will need to find another website in Baltimore that can deal with international customers. I know a lot in the US that are excelled but unfortunately, none of them were located in Baltimore itself. edited comment: I just had a look at the reviews below and I totally agree to one customer (Michael C.) who mentioned the one who picked up the phone was rude, impolite and inpatient. Well Michael, I wish you could have heard her colleague by her side when she was asking her to put the phone down. read more

Will definitely use this company again. I was asked to get flowers for one of our admins who helped on a big event for our team. The only place closer to my office than this is Wholefoods and I wanted to make sure we could have an arrangement already put together nicely in a vase. I was able to go walk down during lunch and be back to my office with a beautiful bouquet in ~30 minutes, that includes 20 minutes walking time round trip. It was a bit odd to have to ring a doorbell to be let inside, but it was very clearly marked so not a problem. The woman working the front desk asked what I was in for and I let her know I was there for thank you flowers. She offered a fall arrangement they already had put together but it was not exactly what I was looking for and a bit more expensive as well. I asked if we could put together a new arrangement and she said no problem and asked for my budget. She asked me which flowers I wanted, I am by no means close to a florist so I pointed at a few flowers I liked and after a little while she helped suggest a few others that would look nice. She brought the flowers we selected into the back where her co-worker arranged them in a vase. I paid while the flowers were arranged and shortly after they brought the arrangement out for me to OK before wrapping it to protect during my walk. The flowers looked beautiful and seem like they will last for a long time. Overall, my experience was pleasant. As others stated, they did not blow me away with warm and friendly customer service, but the flower arrangement was reasonably priced, very quickly put together in a professional manner, and of good quality. read more

I have never ordered flowers from Perzynski & Filar but have received flowers from here on several occasions and I'm impressed every time. The first time the shop was randomly selected because it's near my office - a dozen roses in a tall square vase with rocks on the bottom that was the talk among everyone I knew for weeks, the second was the flowers that were on the table the night my husband proposed (we still have the fun beady-type things that were part of the arrangement) and again a few weeks ago, my husband called on short notice and picked up the biggest, most beautiful arrangement of flowers I've ever seen. Not only are they beautiful, the flowers last longer than any I've ever received before. My husband has talked about the woman who answers the phone and was disappointed she wasn't there the day he stopped in. read more

I attempted twice to set up a wedding consultation, but I didn't get very far. I thought the first time I called that I just caught this very rude person on a bad day, but she was even worse with me the second time. The first time I called she was about to leave for vacation and said I'd have to call back in 2 weeks. When I did call back like she asked, she refused to even set up a consultation until a few months prior to my wedding and when I told her it was memorial day weekend, she said she wouldn't help me at all. I had no idea memorial day was such a huge flower giving holiday. I'm more than happy to take my business somewhere they would appreciate it. Never again. read more
