What type of place is this?? I'm looking for coffee to go and came across Jabali. Walking inside, it looks like a spot that would fit right in Williamsburg. Wooden floors and glass showcases. Except the glass showcases on close inspection are filled with clutter. The gentleman that greets me just "pops" up. Good morning! While I'm reading the coffee board, the gentleman tells me he can make two types of coffee. I look at this guy, he's wearing a white tee shirt that's moth eaten? He's like the Nutty Professor of Java! He says to me, your from Jersey right? You say coffee like me. What? I'm from Mississippi?! That gets a laugh out of the guy. I ask, any baked goods? He shows me something from the supermarket, I can give you a piece of 7Up cake? What the heck is 7Up cake??? Sir, I drink Sprite. He hands me my cup and I ask where is the milk? He points to a styrofoam cooler. Now, I'm pissing myself. I feel like I'm on Punked. This was just too funny. I threw him a buck and left starving. This place did make me smile.

Great little spot, the gentleman (and his parrot) who made our coffee was very knowledgeable and friendly. We'll be back the next time we're in town!

Very interesting place. Definitely unique. I got a cold brew. It was a little weaker than I like, but the flavor was good. I'm not sure if this will be to everyone's liking, but the prices are reasonable and it has a lot of local flavor.

My partner treated me to a latte Saturday morning. We were in dire need of caffeine and in Fell's Point. We found street parking nearby and walked in. Jabali is a small coffee shop in a great little corner space at S. Bond and Lancaster. There's chalk board with all the drinks to your left when you enter. There's a few high stools and a drink ledge by the storefront window, and a bench to your right. When we walked in, a man (who I think is the proprietor) said hello and took our order. He was really nice and makes a legit latte. It's a relaxed vibe in there - it's quiet and there isn't ambient background music playing to force a relaxed vibe (like some places). There were local regulars in the shop when we came in, and they were chatting it up with the owner. We sat at the window and enjoyed our drinks. It's a nice spot.

Incredible coffee for ridiculously cheap prices made by a very down to earth owner. No frills. The world needs more places like this

I was tired, weary, and in desperate need of caffeine when I stumbled upon the Jabalí. Like a revelation, the Jabalí stood before me as both my salvation and as the siren call of my destiny. I held my cup intently, believing that it held everything I desired. But what I learned was so much more. A neighborhood institution for hundreds of years, Jabalí s layered history parallels so many treasured sites in Fells Point. Unassuming, casual, and full of character, Jabalí is a center of human connections in the neighborhood, and a perfect example of a Baltimore locale with boundless charm and good Baltimore vibes. I left in a euphoria...Jabalí is a wondrous place..full of joy & mirth. Jabalí - a place not be missed!

I got milk chocolate sweetness, mild acidity, some citrus/fruit notes, and a little spice as well. The flavor got more complex as I worked through the cup. Balanced shot overall with good texture and distinct tasting notes. 5 / 5. The pour over was also solid. Full bodied, fruity and floral notes. 4/5.

I realized I actually have been here before but it's been years since my last visit! The inside is your typical quaint, converted row-home with some limited seating. There was only one barista working this day but she was doing her best to take orders and make drinks in a timely fashion. By the time we arrived in the late afternoon, they seemed to be out of some specialty items like the blueberry cold foam (which I heard a few people ask for). I opted for an iced oat milk latte with caramel and really enjoyed it. The flavor was so good I actually questioned whether it was really oat milk, but it was just that good! Street parking can be hit or miss in this area but we got lucky. Super grateful to see their hours are a little more expanded compared to other coffee shops in the area that close early.

The crab dip bagel is filled with cream inside and topped with crab and corn on top, the bread was very soft and pillowly. The bread on the sandwich was perfectly brown and toasted topped with the crab egg filling and sprinkle of old bay. On a Saturday afternoon, there was a small line out the door but the line moves quick, we waited about 20mins. I would definitely be coming back to try their other pastries. Hands down, the best almond croissant in town. Perfectly flaky with a generous almond filling that tastes rich and authentic. I also tried their Brazilian drink and added matcha to it, and it was incredibly refreshing. Truth be told, I wasn't expecting it to be that good! I ordered the veggie sandwiches too-fresh, delicious, and very filling. I can't wait to come back. The only thing I missed was a place to sit and really savor it. The outdoor seating is limited, and the glass canopy doesn't do much to keep the heat away. So I ended up enjoying my breakfast on the park bench next door... and honestly, it wasn't a bad spot at all. One tip: they're a small-batch bakery with a set menu available during specific hours, so check their timings before you go.

Wonderful floor plan, interior design, music, lighting and overall atmosphere. LOVE!…read more The staff were all so lovely from the moment I walked in. So kind. So helpful. So friendly. So sweet. The food was divine. Truly. The egg sandwich was so good. The croissant was perfectly crunchy buttery and although seemed like too much for me, it was perfect. The eggs were perfectly cooked. The perfect temperature. The cheese was very good, creamy, naturally flavorful not overly so. I guess I just can't praise this place enough. I stayed a while so need up getting a second drink, the Sakura matcha latte which was very tasty too - all round the right amount of matcha-y! Lol! I also ordered the blueberry eclair - not too sweet. Perfect size. Perfect ratio. Not to mention, beautiful. Just perfect. Love this place! Will go back every time I'm in town.
