I can't say enough about this place. I've been coming every day to study for the bar and it's absolutely perfect. Starting with the food, everything is quality, with clean and fresh ingredients and an awesome menu with everything from burgers to breakfast sandwiches. The fries are great. The space is awesome. The downstairs is nice and eclectic, lively with great energy and the upstairs is a great place to get stuff done, quiet, comfortable, spacious. Cool couches and decorations that make you really feel like you're in a historic part of Baltimore. The staff is probably one of the best parts. I met the owner, Nikki, who's an absolute gem, gracious, kind and welcoming. The staff is super friendly and accomodating. Mike is great, really friendly and helpful. This place is definitely one of the best cafes I've ever been to and I've been to hundreds between NY, LA, and Miami... If you want a cool place to come hang out, potentially meet new people, and enjoy a great coffee, this is it. Even though it was a Saturday we were able to find a spot to sit, and the decor was really fun. There's upstairs seating that seemed a little quieter too. I ordered the Darwin on an Asiago bagel. I wish there was more Brie cheese on it, but it was really good overall. The apple jam was a nice sweet touch. My bagel also came with a side of fruit and a hash brown. The hash brown was a little undercooked for me though. I also got a coco cocoa cold brew, which was a chocolate cold brew with coconut cold foam. It had coconut flakes on it so I had to chew each time I took a sip, and I didn't really taste any chocolate. The cold brew itself was good though, bold and not grainy at all. It was a little loud in the cafe due to all the people, but I had a great time anyway. I'll definitely be back if I need a cute brunch spot or a coffee pick-me-up! read more

Probably my favorite bagel sandwich place in Fed Hill/Locust Point area! They have food variety of sandwiches and bagels. I always get the Vinny on a jalapeño bagel with a hash brown and spinach roll on the side. I would recommend coming early on the weekends or at least ordering over the phone because they get very busy. Ample seating inside with wifi. Coffee is solid. If getting takeout, double check that they added the hash brown because sometimes they forget haha... Highly recommend! read more

The gluten-free fried chicken sandwich from Mindpub absolutely blew me away. Tragically, it disappeared so fast that I didn't even get a picture. I really appreciated that they have a dedicated gluten-free fryer. The sandwich itself was incredible. It was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy and moist on the inside, and packed with flavor. The pork roll is definitely on the thicker side for this sandwich. I also got the fruity pebble cold brew. I personally was not a fan of the coffee that I got, but I am open to trying something new. It's a shame I hadn't been to Mindpub Cafe in Locust Point sooner--this place is a such a cute little gem! I ordered the Sarah Bagel (plain bagel with eggs, whipped feta, and gyro meat), and it was incredible. It came with a fresh side of fruit, and the portion was so generous I could only finish half. At just $11, it felt like a steal for the quality and size. Also just discovered I may love whipped feta? The vibe here is perfect for working or studying--medium to low noise level (be sure to check if events are happening here before arrival!), comfortable, and with a great music selection that sets a chill tone without being distracting. I also tried their pomegranate lemonade, pomegranate is my favorite flavor so I'm biased but that was amazing! I cannot get over how cozy and adorable the inside of this restaurant is. It is a great place go catch up with friends or do work. The way it is decorated and the menu brings the whole place together. They have a lot of menu items. i went for the chicken sandwich that came with lettuce, tomato, cheddar, bacon and bbq with a side of fruit. I asked for no bacon and they did still unfortunately serve it to me with bacon on top. I cannot eat pork so I had to take it off, which sadly took all the cheddar with it. My friend also asked for no tomato on her lox bagel and they did not take that off either. It might have just been our order, but for sure be cautious about that especially if you might have an allergy. For my drink, I went with the dirty soda. I liked the concept of a coca cola mixed with cream and coffee. It for sure had an acquired taste, I personally had to add more creamer to it. I think next time I will try the other dirty soda, my friend had it and I had one sip and it was delicious, the flavors blended well. I dropped in briefly for a quick reprieve on race day. The space was cozy and comfortable. I could see myself coming back to try some more menu items and to do some work in the future. GLOWS: -The pesto bagel sandwich was very tasty. A lot of fat between the cheese, pesto, and butter, but so lovely. -Staff was friendly and helpful in getting us situated and helping with the menu. GROWS: -The have the cutest nook area in the back of the dining space. I'm not sure if it was intended for pet use, but there were customers back there with dogs that just seemed ruin the vibe. I really enjoyed my salted caramel latte with oat milk. It was the perfect amount of sweetness. My friend highly recommended the whipped ricotta toast which is what I specifically came for and ordered but there was some miscommunication because I got the whipped feta toast. It did take a while for the food to come out so I didn't want to wait longer for them to remake the food. The whipped feta toast was still tasty. Loved that all the food came with a side of fruit. I'm just not a huge feta fan and was looking forward to ricotta. Definitely will have to come back to try the whipped ricotta toast again though. Huge fan of the space.
