Still one of the best breakfast options in Baltimore. Creative menu and this location is bigger with better parking options. Staff are friendly and fast. Chill vibes with the art and design on the walls. Got my favorite blue moon special with the captain crunch French toast. So delicious, French toast so tasty with fresh fruit and whipped cream and crunchy with the cereal on it. Eggs and bacon were good as well. Definitely a Baltimore staple, recommend for sure

This place is not only the best brunch spot in Baltimore, maybe one of the best I have had anywhere. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but you gotta start off with their house made cinnamon roll. You'll never want one from anyplace else. The service is swift and polite. Lots of pop art decorating the walls. Like a mini museum.

This place is WORTH the hype! It is by far, one of the best breakfast spots that I've visited and from the reviews, looks like it's been holding that spot for a while. Friendly staff and fast service. You cannot reserve ahead but my boyfriend and I were seated immediately because they had a table which just opened for 2. Not sure of the wait time outside of this experience. The decor is very 80s rock coded with a few movie classics along the way. I loved some of the artwork and every detail that they put into designing this place. Coffee: brewed nice and strong Stars of the food show: Sweet Baby Jesus: A burst of sweet and savory crab chunks sprinkled with old bay in every bite. The tomatoes were a refreshing break as your taste buds were recuperating from all of the savory melted cheese, hollandaise sauce, crispy hash browns, and delicious eggs. It's large enough to share but toooo good to want to share lol I thoroughly enjoyed this. Captain Crunch French Toast: This was the BEST French toast I've ever had. It's layers of goodness starting with fresh fruits on the top (blackberries, strawberries, and green apples). Next, fresh whipped cream. Then you move on to the perfectly crusted French toast and the captain crunch pieces sprinkled throughout the plate. I didn't need any syrup at all because it was sweet enough. But this was an amazing dish! My boyfriend and I did share this because it was shareable and we both wanted to indulge in it while enjoying our individual meals. I'm immediately planning our next visit to this place-definitely worth it.

I always make sure this is my first stop when I visit Baltimore. I love their breakfast and their Cap'n Crunch French toast... however this time I really wanted some hollandaise... should not have gotten cheese on my hashbrowns, it was a lot on top of the cheesy grits that I ordered. A very heavy meal for my first meal when I arrived at 8 AM. The staff is beyond friendly, and I love the art inside of the restaurant. I really wish I had the stomach to order the cinnamon roll because it is my favorite thing there and it's the size of a dinner plate. Be sure to come by if you're in the area! Also, I like this location better than the other one it's less crowded.

Customer Service-We had a large party, and the wait time was very lengthy. I was super nervous as it got closer to 3 pm that they wouldn't be able to seat us, but they did, and after. We all ordered, but the kitchen was closed. Food The star of the show is the Captain Crunch French Toast. This isn't just brunch, it's an experience. Golden Texas toast topped with a dose of nostalgia, the infamous Captain Crunch Cereal toasted to perfection, and topped with fresh fruit and cream. No wonder it's widely known as a signature menu item and a true Baltimore staple. I mean, it's called a must-order for locals and visitors for a reason. Trust me, when you order it, after your first bite, you'll understand why. Ambiance From the moment you walk in, the vibe is eclectic and lively, setting the tone for a brunch that's anything but basic. Parking Pure Hell! It's metered street parking. Good luck finding something close and not near the harbor.

One of our local Baltimore friends recommended this place to try. Our party of nine had to wait for a little over an hour to get seated on Sunday for brunch. Everyone enjoyed the food. I got to try their Salsarittos added some chorizo (pretty much like a breakfast burrito) and the sweet baby Jesus (fully loaded with some delicious jumbo lump crab). Their cinnamon bun roll was out of this world too and a must try! Despite of the long wait time, our first visit to this place was truly memorable.

I love the classic feel of this old diner style breakfast and brunch spot in Federal Hill, Baltimore. It had that nostalgic charm, and the service matches it perfectly. The staff is warm, friendly, and welcoming. I came here to try the Captain Crunch French toast, and it did not disappoint. It tasted like they used brioche bread coated in crushed cereal. It was light, fluffy, and delicious. Parking can be a bit tricky, but if you do not mind walking a few minutes, it is worth it. I would definitely come back for the same dish and maybe try the crab omelette next time.

Love this place. Every time I come to Blue Moon Too, I swear I'll get something other than the Captain Crunch French toast, but I always end up getting it. It's not that there's nothing else good on the menu... Just look at the picture and you'll see why. Everything here is great. The Sweet Baby Jesus is amazing. And the Heuvos Rancheros too. And there's a new menu item that's French toast smothered in crab imperial. Maybe next time lol. The vibe here is really good, as is the service. Be sure to get here early as it fills up fast. We usually try to get here around 8:30.

First time at Blue Moon Café and it did not disappoint!!! I had the: *Crab, Spinach & Tomato Benedict w/ Crispy Hashbrowns *The Classic Cap'n Crunch French Toast (and it was everything they said it would be) The vibe is fun and laid-back, and the portions are no joke. The servers were nice .Absolutely going back to this Baltimore gem

I recently went to Blue Moon Cafe in Fells Point and also just checked out this location in Fed Hill. This cafe is a lot bigger than the Fells Point one. They weren't seating guests outside but since we had my dog, they accommodated us which was really nice. We ordered the Vegetarian omelette and the Full Moon with French Toast and bacon. They came out relatively quickly and were good hearty portions. Our server was friendly and we enjoyed our experience here. A good spot for some good breakfast and brunch options.

Captain Crunch French Toast is the best thing on the menu- a must try! Got the turkey bacon and eggs on the side.

I have tried this location twice (in Fed Hill) and overall just not for me. Both times came on Sunday around 9-9:10am. First time for 2 of us, we got seated right away, the second time was for 4 and was about a 25min wait (not a big deal since we know it's a busy spot for brunch). First visit: - Italian Omelette and Autumn Omelette: they were good, nothing special. Wasn't a fan of the apples on the omelette but that's just me. The hash browns are incredible here though! - Service was extremely bad- couldn't get a refill on coffee or water and no one ever checked in except to hand us the bill. When we first walked in, there were multiple open tables but took them 5-10mins to get us seated as they were busy talking to each other. Second visit: - Blue Moon Burger and Sweet Baby Jesus: the burger was mid but the sweet baby Jesus is definitely worth the hype! - Service again was not good and were quite rude, although we did get a refill once While the SBJ would be worth coming back for again, I'm not sure I will due the service we have received. Maybe willing to try once more as I want to try the French Toast and seeing other positive reviews (third times the charm?) 20% gratuity is automatically applied for parties of 4+ or if your bill is $50+(super easy to hit $50 for 2 people). While, I am more than happy to tip 20%+, we just did not receive good or even mediocre service. Just seems like they don't care to provide service since they automatically get tips anyways.

    Jessi S.

AMAZING. Was worried about the wait, but the 2 of us walked in and sat on a Sunday morning. BYOB is allowed and encouraged- also NO corkage fee! Plus plus!! We had a great girls date and ordered the chorizo (hell fire) hash and the captain crunch French toast. The hash was not spicy as advertised so we doused it in more hot sauce. The servers were very attentive and provided more hot sauce without us asking. The French toast was DELISH! clearly why it is a favorite.

The quality of the food is consistently so good, and it's one of those places I always look forward to coming back to! I definitely recommend "The Basics 2 Eggs & Meat" because you seriously can't go wrong with a good traditional breakfast! Another favorite of mine is "A Bit of Everything," which is perfect if you still want that classic breakfast but with a little something sweet on the side. Their ricotta-stuffed French toast is also AMAZING! It's rich, delicious, and definitely on the sweeter side, so if you have a sweet tooth, I highly recommend it! And OMG, I have to talk about their grits!! I'm a HUGE grits lover, and I genuinely think these are the BEST grits in all of Baltimore! If you love grits as much as I do, please do yourself a favor and order them as a side. They're seriously one of my favorite things on the menu! Their drinks are also great! I especially love their mimosas, and the mimosa sampler is such a fun option if you want to try different flavors. The restaurant itself is also super cute, with beautiful decor and a really nice ambiance that makes it perfect for brunch! My only real complaint is that this place is pretty frequently packed, which can sometimes affect the service. While the staff is nice, there have been times when service felt a little slow or it took quite a while before our server checked back in. I do wish they were a bit more attentive, especially when it comes to checking on tables throughout the meal. That being said, I absolutely LOVE this place, and the food alone keeps me coming back! Despite the occasional slower service and how busy it can get, I genuinely think it's worth it. If you're looking for a great brunch spot in Baltimore with delicious, high-quality food, this is definitely one I'd recommend!!

We also grabbed an order of their super skinny and crispy french fries. The total with drinks came to around the mid $40s (before tip) and the customer service was friendly and helpful, as well as a bonus short wait for the food. Everything was delicious. They also offer a great variety of sandwiches and drinks at brunch and a great seasonal menu. Absolutely worth your time if you are in the area and looking for great atmosphere, reasonable prices, and fantastic service.

The rest of the menu is American stuff. I've as of now tried both of these and very content with the taste and filling of these two, the price is reasonable per the portion and yummyness($12.49) plus tax about $13.25. The only thing I would change a bit is making sure that the juice from the bulgogi doesn't soak the bread too much cuz then it's mushy. I like a crunchy texture to my subs, but the may be just my preference. Both the son and the mom are super nice, if you become a regular it's very nice to have people know what you want right away. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. I hope that they can incorporate more korean food to their menu, at least 2 more that have a different protein so we have a bit more variety. Though I understand why the options for kfood are limited given the area's population. Things to keep in mind: - When you order let them know if you want it to go or to eat there. Nobody can read minds, but they will do their best to ask you prior to packaging to confirm. - It can get busy so sometimes transaction may take longer because people are multitasking. - - - Don't rip out the receipt, you might be taking the wrong copy. Wait for the cashier to hand it to you or simply ask. -If you have questions about a product, ask them and don't assume. Yes. There is a big menu and pamphlets available and they provide brief item description but if that's not clear, just ask. They also have prepackaged salads, fruit and a few sweet treats, along with MissVickies chips, and bottle drinks. It's a cafe so the basics. Overall, really nice experience. Tots recommended :3

We started things off with the appetizers, and the Hot Honey Fried Chicken Deviled Eggs were absolutely phenomenal. Easily one of the best things we ordered. They were so good that I honestly could've eaten an entire order by myself and been perfectly happy. We also tried the house-made cornbread. Their version was a little different from what I'm used to and almost gave me French toast stick vibes. The consistency was good and it definitely wasn't bad, just a different take on cornbread than I expected. Between the two appetizers, though, I'm choosing those deviled eggs every single time. For my meal, I ordered three scrambled eggs with cheese, Cranberry Maple Turkey Sausage, shredded hash browns, an everything biscuit with cream cheese, and pancakes. Everything was good, but those pancakes were easily the star of the meal. Honestly, some of the best pancakes I've ever had. Perfect consistency, fluffy in the middle with slightly crispy edges, and flavorful enough that you really didn't need much syrup. The eggs were solid -- simple scrambled eggs with cheese done right. The Cranberry Maple Turkey Sausage was really, really good as well. I'm personally not a huge fan of shredded hash browns because I prefer home fries or diced breakfast potatoes, but that's more of a texture preference than anything being wrong with them. I'm also not much of a bagel person, so I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the everything biscuit, but surprisingly, I really enjoyed it. My lady ordered the brisket skillet, which had brisket, scrambled eggs, shredded potatoes, peppers, and everything mixed together. Very flavorful, and the portion was definitely generous. For drinks, she had the Pineapple Coconut Colada, which was good and definitely had a heavy pour that day. I had Shirley's Crush. I'm already a big fan of orange crushes, and theirs was really good -- flavorful, refreshing, and they definitely weren't stingy with the alcohol. Our waitress, Melissa, was amazing. Very attentive, helpful, friendly, and she took great care of us throughout the entire meal. Great service can really add to an experience, and she definitely did that for us. I honestly don't have any real complaints about Miss Shirley's. The food was good, the service was excellent, portions were generous, and there were so many other things on the menu that caught my attention. I already know I'll be going back so I can start scratching some more items off the list. The only downside worth mentioning is parking, but that's pretty normal for a city location. There's a parking garage directly across the street, which is extremely convenient, but we paid around $24 for maybe an hour and a half to two hours. A little pricey for that amount of time, but I guess you're paying for the convenience of being literally across the street. Overall, my first experience was a solid 5 out of 5. I can only speak for my visit, but the food, drinks, service, and overall experience were all on point. Definitely recommend, and I'll definitely be back.
