After doing some research and visiting several stores, we ended the day at Sunset spas. We met with Mitch and immediately felt at ease and not pressured to take advantage of their Black Friday sales. It was at that point we knew we found the right place. The process was easy and seamless! We can't wait for delivery of our new spa and look forward to enjoying it for many years to come.

I've tried to work this out with Sunset Spa, but they have decided to ignore all my emails and calls, including Dave Rempfer the owner of Sunset Spa. NOTE: The ROC of Arizona has no licensed on file for Sunset Spa to perform work on Spa's. This is what the ROC of AZ told me, so now I am having that investigated by the ROC. Before they work on your spa ask for their license number. Also, get it in writing from them that they will provide you service, if you need it after your warranty runs out. Do not take their word for it (see attached email where they advised not servicing out of warranty spas). The company was okay until they damaged my spa after doing a repair on it and refuse to correct it. They want me to clean up the damage or pay them to do the work. I tried to work this out with Matt from the Goodyear Store who referred me to Sunset Spa's Customer Service Team, who refused to take ownership of what they did to my spa, instead they state its Water Chemistry that caused the issue. I've been using the same water for 5 years. The issue is they came out and did a repair that I brought to their attention 2 years ago when I was under warranty. They kept giving me chemicals and telling me to try this, than finally they took ownership of the issue and sent a tech to fix it. This tech used a Blue Glue Adhesive in the repair process, which was huge because after 2 years the problem kept getting worse. After the repair was done the spa had several leaks, which I took video of but cannot attach here. They sent the tech back out, she repaired the leak with a Blue substance. A couple days later my spa has blue particles all over the place that are coming out from the jets and then I felt the inside of the spa and 100% of the spa include inside and outside of all the jets with something that feels like a low grade sandpaper, however per another company I was told its the adhesive they used and that she filled it immediately after repairing it. Since no one would respond I then went into the store in Goodyear and Asked Matt if I could speak to Dave the owner. Matt refused to give me any contact for Dave and said he would have Dave call me. I forwarded all my correspondence on this matter to Matt's email address and told Matt Please have him call me asap. No contact from Dave, so I reported them to the BBB at https://www.bbb.org/us/az Finally Dave Calls me, but its not to fix what they did, I don't even think Dave truly realizes that this is a real problem from the repair. All Dave would say to me over and over again "You reported me to the BBB. . OMG" over and over. When I realize his call was not to help me but to beat me up, I said "Yes Dave. What did you expect me to do? No one would return my call or emails. My spa has damage from the repair you all did". However, all Dave could say was, "I'm going to sue you in Small Claims Court". I then told Dave, "you cannot sue the truth. I have proof". Dave than said "I don't care I'm responding to this BBB notice and writing it off as a loss". I am just shocked at how closed off he was to "we have an issue here". Their OWN Customer Service team (see email screenshot) told me to use Not 1 but 2 FULL BOTTLES of PH DOWN and to wait 2 days before draining it, cleaning it and refilling it. They state in their email to expect Blue Flaking. If you look up what PH DOWN is used for, PH DOWN is used to remove Glue Adhesive and if you look up what color the adhesive is that Spa Companies use, It's BLUE. So, Sunset Spa is 100% telling me how to remove the glue that was used in the repair process, BUT than telling me the Water that I've been using in this SPA for 5 years with NEVER having an issue with is the problem. I am shocked at how closed minded Dave is on this issue. This is the Truth. My problem with me doing the work and not them is that PH DOWN Removes Glue, so if they used the wrong stuff to put all the plumbing/piping back together on my spa than what happens if I do the work and it leaks because PH DOWN soaked for 2 days dissolving it. Just beware. If Dave wants to rethink this and have a civil conversation as opposed to yelling at me for reporting to the BBB and threaten to sue me over the truth, than I'm open to it, but if he can't see the problem and own it, well we will not get anywhere. Very sad it came to this. Just know if you have an issue and if the company will not work with you, you can report to the BBB at: https://www.bbb.org/us/az Also the Attorney Generals Office at: https://www.azag.gov/ to file a consumer complaint. I am shocked that Dave decided to bully and threaten me with Small Claims Court, but you can't sue the Truth. The truth is on my side and my spa in its current condition is the proof.

The entire project ran like clockwork. The planning and execution was seamless. Your work crews are craftsmen, very skilled and meticulous. Gary, the project started with your creative design. You listened very closely to what features we wanted and you incorporated those ideas into a masterpiece we now proudly call our backyard. Throughout the project, your team was very responsive to any concerns or questions we had. As our daily point of contact, Mike was wonderful to work with. To say that you and your staff went beyond our wildest dreams in the quality of work and customer service would be an understatement. Our backyard project also included a spa built and installed by your company, Spas by Design. The quality of your spa is untouchable. Also, I can't say enough about Bob Campo, your sales manager. Absolutely Amazing!…read more Not only did Dolphin Pools meet our expectations, they blew them completely out of the water (pun intended). I don't use words like spectacular, incredible, amazing, and awesome lightly. The process of building a pool is groundbreaking, in the literal sense. The timeline for this process took roughly 3 months from the dig to jumping into the water for a swim. Allow me to remind you that the process is never going to be perfect for such a large project. There are many stages to this massive commitment, such as designing, mapping, digging, plumbing, electrical lines, concrete, travertine, city permits, dealing with HOAs (and the list goes on). None of this is going to go without delays, corrections, ordering additional parts, weather issues, etc. That said, the experience with Dolphin Pools was nearly flawless every step of the way. My wife and I did our research, and based on Google/Yelp reviews, we decided to contact Dolphin Pools. From what I understand, there are a number of designers, but we had the great fortune of having Drew Siler assist us with designing our dream pool. From the moment we met Drew, we were instantly impressed and quickly moved forward with the project. Not only is Drew kind, honest, and thoughtful, but very professional. We had a plan, and Drew walked us through every detail with 3D pool design renderings. He listened to our wants, but always kept us grounded with what was possible within our property and budget. Drew made himself available at all times to answer our questions and continued to do so through the entire process. He told us it was possible to have the pool completed by my wife's birthday in September if everything went smoothly, and we made it. He is truly a man of his word and we couldn't thank him enough. I have to mention the excellent staff at Dolphin Pools as well. I would like to thank Nick, our Field Project Manager, who managed the many crews throughout the project. Also to the team managers Katie, Brenda, Laurie, Maria, and Tania that kept us informed through text, emails, and phone calls every step of the way. The crews included Hagarty Electric, Scholz Rebar, V Shotcrete Construction, Superior Pool Plastering, ACE Pool Repair and so many others. If you decide on getting a pool built, you should definitely consider Dolphin Pools. It's nerve-racking, noisy, dusty, and will inconvenience you for months, but I would do it all over again to get the perfect dream pool that we envisioned. We highly recommend Dolphin Pools, and 10 stars is not even close to enough!

The cleaners rarely show up on the day they are supposed to so half the time I leave the gate unlocked unnecessarily for them to have access. My pool was green was the past 6 weeks and they didn't do much about it. Water had to be drained because CYA levels were so high but they didn't tell me that because they don't have a repair tech to drain and fill the pool in my area. This caused me to hire an outside company for the drain and fill. Today I was suppose to receive my regular chemical service but nobody showed up.... Called support 20 mins before close to see what was going on but got the answering machine. Safe to say I will be servicing my own pool from now on. Update to reply by business manager: There is no "major leak" in my pool. The water bill is less than $90 a month like it has been for the past two years. If there was a leak it would cost hundreds of dollars a month. I also add no chemicals to the pool on my own other than the 3 bags of shock I used in order to safely drain my pool water. Everything you suggested as the reason for my poor service isn't factual.

Upon installation it was discovered that was a leak and water was leaking into our top panel control. In addition, when we purchased the spa we were told it had wifi capability controls installed (which turned out to be a lie). The owner told us he would order a new top control panel from Dynasty and would also install the wifi module for free since he said it was already in there (second lie). After 2 months of excuse after excuse from the owner (throwing Dynasty Spas under the bus, saying they would answer calls, shipped the part, but it never got there, it got there but he used it on another spa, etc. etc., etc.), I decided to contact Dynasty myself. They were responsive, opened a warranty claim for us, shipped us the part free of charge. We then had to contact Southwest to get it installed. I tried emailing, calling, etc. for a while with zero response. Finally went in person (we live an hour away) and confronted them. They wouldn't even acknowledge responsibility. But after a come to Jesus meeting with me, they installed the part. Needless to say, Dynasty is getting us another distributor who can do work on the spa should we need it in the future. Moral of this story....DO NOT DO BUSINESS OF ANY KIND WITH SOUTHWEST HOT TUB WAREHOUSE OR SAM JARRETT EVER! Here is the response I got "We are very sorry that you feel this way! We tried to buy your replacement topside from Dynasty Spas (a company we no longer do business with) but were refused by Dynasty Spas due to ongoing legal issues we are having with them (this review will benefit us in that pursuit). We actually purchased your needed part (a new topside) from another company and still have yet to receive it. When we delivered your spa everything worked great at delivery and you received everything promised in your contract! We were contacted on 2/8/26 about your replacement part arriving on approximately 2/11/26. Within 24 hours of you receiving the part, we installed it at no cost. Your spa was completely operation the entire time you have owed it. Sorry you got caught in the middle but we really appreciate your business. We are happy to assist you in the future!" Since I can't respond to your response to my comment, I will do it here: It would have been really nice if you would have told us that you were no longer doing business with Dynasty because of legal issues. I would love to know when that came about because if it was BEFORE you sold us a Dynasty spa, that would have been key since you can no longer get parts on a spa that is warrantied for at least a year. It's dirty business. AND, A KEY PIECE OF INFO YOU LEFT OUT OF YOUR CYA RESPONSE IS THAT WE NOTIFIED YOU THAT THE PART WE ORDERED WOULD BE DELIVERED. AND YOU BETTER BELEIVE YOU WERE DOING THE WORK FREE OF CHARGE.....IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY!!!!!~ And, you gave us a run around for 2 months! Here's an idea...BE HONEST WITH US. I don't appreciate this. I understand business issues come up for a myriad of reasons. I understand that. I was a CFO for many years of my career. It's just sad that we had to go through Dynasty ourselves. All you had to do was tell us the truth, we would have done exactly what we did. Call Dynasty, get the part and you put it in. WHY WAS THAT SO HARD? Grow some integrity.

I noticed it had eight speakers in it, and I asked the salesman whose name was Chris, whether the spa had Bluetooth and he assured me that it did. We bought the spa with the understanding it had Bluetooth. He gave me warranty paperwork which indicated the sound system was covered for 6 months as a used spa. When we got the spot installed at our house, we discovered that the Bluetooth did not work and Desert hot tubs sent out a succession of service people who told me I just didn't know how to operate it. (I do know how to operate Bluetooth!) and then explained to me that in a later session that they didn't have the parts to fix it and after waiting for over six months to get someone to come out and fix it, I received a call from Tricia, their service manager, who assured me that they were going to honor their commitment to fix the Bluetooth in the spa that I purchased even though more than six months had expired. She admitted their service department had dropped the ball. One week later I received a call from Tricia telling me that they were not going to honor their promise to fix the spa because the contract said Desert Hot Tubs was not obligated to honor verbal promises...only what is stated in the contract. They said this spa was no longer under warranty and that I had not read the fine print in the contract which said that regardless of the salesman's promises the only thing that really counts is the contract. They also told me the salesman is no longer with them...as if that had some bearing on the situation. I've been in business a very long time and any ethical business that I've worked with always honors the promises the salespeople make, particularly in something this straightforward. They initially acted as if they should be responsible for fixing the Bluetooth and then later decided that they weren't going to fix the Bluetooth. I would strongly recommend not ever buying any equipment from Desert Hot Tubs. I would further recommend not trusting anything that any of their sales people tell you. And finally, I would recommend staying away from a business whose ownership responds to customers in this fashion.
