I ordered The Smash with the patty cooked medium, and it was done perfectly. The bun was rich and buttery, the guacamole was well-seasoned, the provolone melted beautifully, and the bacon had the perfect crisp. All of the fresh veggie toppings really brought everything together. The fries with Colton's sauce are also worth mentioning--they were absolutely delicious. The restaurant has an upscale gastropub vibe with a great ambiance. We sat indoors, but the outdoor seating looked just as inviting. Everything felt very well put together, clean, and well maintained--even the restrooms stood out in that regard. There's also plenty of parking since it's located within a complex, which is always a plus. Our server, Ky, was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and spot-on with recommendations. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'm definitely looking forward to coming back.

Got some appetizers and fell in love with the mussels. The taste was delicious. We would get some of the bread and dip it into the sauce of the mussels. Cornbread crab cakes so good. We wanted another one. Dinner entrees were good. The steak was cooked to perfection. The scallop pasta was good too. The reason I came here was for the bread pudding! Definitely was very full so I wasn't able to enjoy like the first time I had it but still 10/10. Service was great, very attentive! Can't wait to be back. It wasn't clear walking in that you order at the bar and that it isn't full service. As in no sign or staff guiding people in. For big groups, please all get there together, with how ordering is if people keep joining the group while some are ordering it makes a 5 minute process 20+ (I'm talking groups of 8+) They ran out of French toast by 1130am. Breakfast was good but not quite the level I expected from Cracked Pepper based on dinner experiences. Maybe we didn't order the right things? The bagel sandwich looked a bit simple but did taste good. All American breakfast was a bit small for the price but the bacon was delicious. Would have loved a muffin or toast with it to get really honest. People that ordered after us got drinks and food after us. That was disappointing to see especially when black coffee took longer than bar drinks. I think a lot of this was maybe just kinks still being worked out so I hope maybe going in a few months things will be smoother?

Margaritas were not from mix, sooo good!!! Victoria was our server and was fabulous, Sahn was our bartender, they were both amazing. They made sure we were happy!!! We were so impressed with lunch we came back @ dinner time for more margaritas and appetizers. We ordered mushroom toast and calamari. Loved both!! Calamari came out hot and tasted great w/ aoli dip on side! We had more margaritas The restaurant is inviting with outdoor seating and beautiful bar with old town photos on the wall. Something about the taste was off and I couldn't get into it, which was disappointing because I had heard good things about it. I ended up switching my order to the chicken and waffles, and that completely saved the meal. It was so good. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. I got the spicy syrup on the side along with regular syrup, which was the perfect move. I also tried their garlic truffle fries and those were amazing, easily some of the best fries I've had. Their ranch is really good too, which made it even better. Shoutout to the hostess for being so kind and helpful when I asked to switch dishes. They didn't charge me for the pasta, which I really appreciated. I was definitely sad about the lobster pasta because I was excited for it, but overall I still had a really good experience. I'd come back again and just try something different next time.

Of course I did the classic thing and remembered to take a picture of my food after it was already halfway gone I ordered the stacked turkey club, and my cousin had the lobster garlic noodles. Both were delicious and hit the spot. Service was fast, our waiter was friendly and attentive, and we didn't feel rushed at all. No complaints from me -- I'll absolutely be back.

That is exactly what happened during my recent dinner at Elderberry House. I visited with a group of four, and between us, we had two gluten-free diners and one vegetarian. After a quick heads-up the day before, the restaurant handled our needs with total ease. We went for the five-course tasting menu, and it was incredible from start to finish. We kicked things off with one of the best oysters I have ever had, followed by a beautiful tuna presentation. The kitchen even looked out for our gluten-free friends with a special version of their herbal-butter focaccia that was actually delicious. By the time the main courses arrived, I honestly could not decide if I liked my beef or my friend's snap pea risotto better; every single bite was pure perfection. The cocktails were another high point. My first drink was great, but after chatting with our server, Jordan, I decided to try the Last Word. It featured that hard-to-find green chartreuse, and I am a little annoyed to report that I have a new favorite cocktail that requires such a rare ingredient. The service is what really made the night so special. Jordan was so charismatic and helpful, making sure we were perfectly taken care of all evening. He was so good that I almost worried a second visit would not be the same without him, though the rest of the staff quickly put that fear to rest. Abby was so friendly and responsible for a truly unique but perfect-for-the-vibe playlist, and Chris the mixologist even stopped by to geek out about gin and cocktails with us. From the genuine care for our food sensitivities to the clever touch of the iPad check-in hidden in an elegant binder, it was a night for the books. I cannot recommend this place enough and look forward to bringing my family next!

We ordered the asparagus and the Brussels sprouts as appetizers and split the New York steak. I'm giving a 5-star here because it's rare to find things up to this standard, but I have some points for improvement. The service was good, but my drink order was incorrect. Not a big deal or worth one less start. However, the ambiance is close but not quite. We had a reservation and, upon arrival, were seated between two full tables. One had two children who were loud and wiggly throughout our whole meal. (Nothing against children, they were totally appropriate for their age and very cute) But it would be nice if reservations had designated areas that were a bit farther away from the crunch of the walk-in crowd. Nothing we experienced took away from the great food, so the 5-star remains. Looking forward to another visit.

We came at 7pm and there was 8pm closing time so we were conscientious and had our order ready immediately. ALL the waitstaff and manager (I think- blue floral polo) were very focused on closure for the full hour. Unloading clean dishes, stocking the bar, a lot of watch checking. This is pretty off-putting when trying to enjoy food and feeling the pressure of closing time. No ongoing smiles or eye contact. Ambience: very cute, modern vibe. May need to look into some sound absorption material as there is quite loud reverberations from lively parties nearby. I also felt the employees were not very happy and I felt it was due to them being under extreme scrutiny of above-mentioned manager. Nobody smiled.
