Moving can be very stressful and he made this transition so smooth. We scheduled a home estimate for next day and he came prepared to give us an accurate estimate of the total cost for the packing, moving, and unpacking. Wonderful! We've lived in our home for 20 years and I finally broke down and arranged for someone to come and refinish our wood floors. We have several large pieces of furniture that needed to be moved from our house to our garage for storage during the process. Starting with my initial Yelp request for bids, Derik was the first to respond in less than 15 minutes. Pricing was affordable and scheduling was easy. Arsenault and Armando arrived right at the time we had scheduled - they were informative, professional, friendly and handled my furniture with care (sorry, about that cumbersome fridge, guys). A week later Arsenault returned with Franklin and returned everything to its place and I couldn't be happier with the service. We had a great move day today! I found Blue Beaver on Yelp. Derik was quick to respond to my estimate request. I was really impressed with their reviews. My only concern going in was that they were such a young company (started this year). Well, I'm so glad we went with them because our three-man crew was fantastic! Eric, Durrell, and Elijah were professional, methodical, extremely considerate of our belongings, friendly, positive and experienced. They really took care of us and all our stuff, wrapping furniture well and being extra careful with fragile items.. Several times during the day, they paused to do a quick walk thru with us to make sure everything was going as we needed. (We had a complicated move in that many items from multiple rooms were staying at the old house for a moving sale next week.) If anything got nicked in the process (as is normal in any move), they were quick to proactively point out the damage. We had a few on-the-spot pivots in our plans (e.g., had to switch out queen bed placement from one room to another) and the BBM crew just rolled with it. It was about an 8 hour job and they couldn't have been more pleasant to work with. Plus, they had a brand-spanking-new truck! Our stuff was its very first cargo! I am writing this review due to my second experience with them. My first (in 2018) was beyond awesome and that's why I hired them again. The second time they moved me (12/2019) my clothes dryer wouldn't work properly after the move. I contacted Derrik, Blue Beaver owner, who explained that moving it wouldn't cause it to break. I thanked him and said I understood and then contacted an appliance repair company. The Appliance repair came out and said the reason the dryer wouldn't work was because the movers had not taken the electrical tape off of the vent pipe and they hooked it up w/ the tape on. This repair visit cost me $140.00 (to remove the electrical tape). I emailed Derrik, Blue Beaver owner, w/ a copy of the bill requesting reimbursement and he never responded. I just found the bill and chose to post as my only recourse. The company itself may be wonderful but if you get movers who don't know what they are doing, it is problematic. read more

Seriously, 5 stars is not enough for these guys...Danny and Rudy were the best! I can't believe I hesitated for one moment to hire professional movers, thinking I would ask some friends to help and rent a truck...UGH! Reasons why I LOVED them...1. FAST and professional, they had all the tools, blankets and wrapping needed. 2. Did I mention FAST? These guys actually ran up and down the truck ramp to load and unload. 3. They packed everything in my storage unit like pros... watching them work was like watching an artist figuring out the most efficient way to put together a jigsaw puzzle. 4. They were so sweet and polite " Yes, ma'am" gets me every time. 5. Responsive...answered my emails within 5 minutes...seriously, who does that? 6. We hired Elijah, Durrell, and Eric to move our heavy furniture when we moved houses within Cedar Park. They moved several extremely heavy pieces, and they worked quickly and managed not to scratch any furniture or ding the walls. They were also friendly and courteous. These guys are top notch! Derrick was very professional while still having a personality on the phone. I only had a few pieces left to move, but my table is solid marble and weighs about 500 pounds. Blue Beaver did a great job with our apartment transfer move! They are reasonably priced, and our two movers worked quickly and effectively. We originally planned on only having them move our large items, but ended up having them move the majority of our stuff after seeing how much progress they got done in the first 30 minutes. When I first contacted Blue Beaver Movers, I'll admit, I was a little skeptical!! I had a bad experience with a mover on a previous occasion and thought they were all like that. BOY!!! Was I wrong!!!! If there ever was a moving company that is top notch and over the top, These guys are it !!! They were on time, they worked harder than anyone I have ever seen and it seemed to me that they didn't know how to slow down. They did take Excellent care of our stuff and I was thoroughly impressed at the speed at which they moved. Could not have been happier!! The only regret that I had is, I wished I could have tipped (gratuity) them more, because they were well worth it!!
