MOST UNDERRATED PLACE IN THE HAMPTONS!!!!!! 12/10. The food at this place is better than some Michelin restaurants I've been to. The calamari, dragon roll, grilled octopus, and guacamole were out of this world. The Lamb is like bringing Wagu beef to a burger party. The carbonara is out of this world! This is my new favorite date spot. The manager Justin Shiller and Dave are big fans of Gordon Ramsey and has created a menu worthy of the big man himself. There is not one thing I didn't like about this place. It is 100% worth dealing with the traffic to come from Bridgehampton to Southampton for this place. They also recently opened a club which opens at 11pm. The tables start at 500

I would give their decor a 5 star if this is for a HGTV show. However, there are many factors to be involved in the restaurant's overall score. Our Charcuterie board looks like was eaten by someone before. ( sausage and cheese were cut weirdly) My cucumber drink has zero taste of its favor( It's funny they put zucchini as garnish). Margherita pizza without basil toppings. The lobster roll had too much sauce on it. I'm sorry but I just can't find any highlight of the dining experience besides the decoration of the restaurant.

The food and ambiance are driving this 5-star review, as the service was lacking. First, the way they styled their outdoor dining is truly gorgeous. They have bistro lights, gazebos, and the trees are uplight. Second, all of the food was amazing. There is currently a sushi by bou popup going on in a portion of the restaurant, and so you're allowed to order from the main Blu Mar menu or the sushi menu. We had the sushi as our appetizers and each roll was very good. We had the bluefin tuna roll and the hello yellow roll which was good enough as is without adding soy sauce. The fish tasted very fresh. For our entrees, we ordered mains from the main menu. I had the porcini mushroom mezzaluna pasta which was outstanding, but it was an incredibly tiny portion. There were only 5 pieces of pasta in the dish. I had the strawberry daiquiri which was pretty good, but could have used more strawberry. Third, the service was really lacking. I called in advance of our reservation to double check that we could order from the sushi and the main menu from the table that we booked, and was told that we could. However, upon arrival, our waitress told us we could only order from the Blu Mar menu. We then asked to be seated at a table that allowed us to order sushi, and it was a lounge set that was in a sad looking portion of the restaurant. We then found out from another waiter that we could order from both menus no matter where we were seated, so we then transferred back to our original table. All of this commotion due to the waitress not knowing that we could order from both menus in the first place. After that, the waitress was fairly rude to us and did not attend to our table.

Fabulous from start to finish. Great ambiance, crowd, service and FOOD. Good quality ingredients. Can't beat that. Loved it all, favorites were beet salad, and catch of the day, red snapper was filleted and cooked to perfection. Our waitress, Katia was engaging professional. Can't wait to be back!

The dining experience was nice , good service and good outdoor seating however the time we went they weren't serving alcohol ( lost their license ) so that was bummer because we could have been told that when we made the reservations. The meatballs were phenomenal Pizza tasted like the microwaveable ones Sushi was good The asparagus salad was good but just so small , like come one you could add a few more asparagus to it The lobster pasta wasn't worth 40$ ThatS for sure The branzion and salmon were really good Mushroom ravioli was good , but you get rotes I'd eating it , very overwhelming with the truffle

We came here at 7pm and got seated right away. We quickly saw the linen dirty from bug poop or something else and they replaced it. They brought out bread with olive oil. The bread was soft and delicious. Dip it in the oil and sprinkle a little salt for a great start. Appetizers - we ordered halibut ceviche (which was spicy but delicious, my personal favorite), tuna (which was also pretty good), burrata (good but doesn't melt in your mouth like I've had elsewhere) and Greek salad (decent). Entrees - we shared a seafood stew (I didn't have it but heard it was alright), Dover sole (really good), seabass (second best) and durado (crispy but not flavorful). Last but not least was pasta with black truffles (it definitely looks better than it tastes. You don't taste any truffle flavor. The truffle shavings themselves weren't great and didn't add any flavor. I definitely had high expectations going with the dish but at $40 it didn't deliver. The morracan spiced carrots we got as our only side dish was one of the highlights in the entree round. We kept asking for bread and they brought it out quickly and then right away took it back as they cleared the apps (it still had all of it left minus a few slices we managed to grab). Wish we read the reviews going in because the one in the city heard was much better. One last tip: review your bill, the sea bass said 65 on the menu but the bill had it as 85 so he ended up giving the 20 dollar discount. We also had a dish on the bill we didn't order but they removed it as well. Always take a look at the receipts just to make sure.

Great experience. Cocktails were fabulous, so was the service. Justin, the manger, made sure to check in and see how myself and my friends were doing. Also, the art AMAZING! Would come back, and 100% recommend to others!

Oops lol It was a quiet Friday evening and Plaza Café is conveniently located near my friend's house there in South Hampton. Being off season, there has been very little traffic and people on the streets. There were only 3 other parties in the restaurant when we walked in. This place is cute, private, has great good food, and service. Their menu is very small, but I was still having trouble deciding what I wanted to eat for dinner. Finally decided on the Tile fish....Yeah I know, I was like. Was told that they're like human beings because they eat just about anything in the sea. No idea if that's true or not, but I'll take it. The dish was light and full of flavor. Tried some of my friend's Salmon/Udon dish and I actually think his was the better choice. The salmon went very well with the udon. Noodles were kind of firm and juices full of flavor. Plenty of parking in their private lot. Looks like they may share it with businesses/hotel in the area. I'd eat here again. The décor and feel was okay, nothing amazing or memorable.

They earn top marks for serving brunch in a cocktail glass! The drink came beautifully garnished with shrimp cocktail, bacon, blue cheese-stuffed olives, and celery. I ordered mine "sub vodka for tequila" to make it a Bloody Maria, and it was absolutely perfect -- the right balance of liquor and horseradish spice, and deliciously thick, just the way I like it. I'll never order a Bloody Mary with vodka again -- tequila is the way to go! The olives added that umami punch I adore. I visited on 10/25/25 and sat at the bar. Kaylia K, my waitress and bartender, was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The restaurant itself was spotless and inviting. I also ordered the seafood nachos, which didn't cater to my tastes -- I'll pass on that next time. If you're in the Hamptons and love a well-crafted Bloody Mary, I highly recommend Lunch Lobster Roll.

I still dream about the special they had where their lobster salad came in a local HUGE heirloom tomato. We came at a slower time, right before the dinner rush, and our server was patient. The food came out quick. Even our crab dip, which she prefaced with it would take a while, came out quickly as well. This is a must if you're coming out east. However, majority of everything else was just average at best and not memorable. To top it off, the prices are relatively high for what we received and the service was subpar. No one came to pour us water or take an order after we sat down for 20 minutes. Then a few different servers came by with our food. No refills on our water or check on our status.
