First week I had it, I noticed the transmission slipping. Fine they took it and swapped out the transmission torque converter that was causing the problem. Finally get it back out of the shop just for the next day it not to start and strand me at the store. Have it towed to the shop and the starter harness was damaged when they replaced the torque converter and rigged it up and said nothing about it. They said they fixed it but nope just rigged it again to get me out of the shop. Next, no AC. Took it to the shop to see why the AC wasn't working and the ac compressor just fell apart as the cover was taken off. Asked if they would fix it and if course it was no. So I paid for that to get fixed. And here I sit again stranded at the gas station because it won't start. Save yourself money and time and purchase else where. This vehicle has spent more time in the shop than I have been able to drive it. Not impressed at all. If they had completed a proper inspection these items would have been easily identified and maybe repaired before purchased or at least disclosed so I knew what I was getting... however that's not how it happened.

You are given 10 days to test the car out and return it if not running right or just don't fit your vibe . My suggestion to you get the car put it through the paces in the 10 days. And if you don't trust them or think something is off about the car take it to a shop you trust let them do a bumper to bumper check if something was doctored on it they would be able to see it .. also look deep into the car I mean go around it check the trim tires etc ... ever heard of the term drive it around kick the tires ? Do your own homework on the car .. Now I will say my experience with the Bloomington store has been nothing short of complete professionalism and friendly staff .. they answered all the questions I had. Trust me I was waiting for them to trip up on something and show why they have a poor rating but nothing happened. We got a really nice 2022 Jeep . Wife loves it ( happy wife happy life ) and I don't have to pay for endless repairs. Win/win. Replaced a brand new timing belt and charged over $900 for it!! My car wasn't even there for that…read morereason!! Context: A couple weeks ago my Honda CRV had a small leak of transmission fluid. The fluid level was also EXTREMELY LOW. We don't typically take my car to O'Brien but they had the quickest appointment time. Dropped the car off the next morning. My Dad handled the communication with O'Brien as he knows more about cars and parts than I do. They stated there was a small pin hole where the transmission fluid is but that the fluid level was good. Which was odd since my dad had checked it twice and it was extremely low so he had them check it again and they said it was fine. There were a few other things that they listed that they check as part of a "bundle" my dad agreed to some and some he said not to do. That was all fine my dad then took my car to a local tire shop to get the tires aligned as that was one of the things my dad had turned down at O'Brien. While at the tire shop he asked the technician to check the transmission fluid level and he said it was EXTREMELY LOW and put more in at no additional cost. When my dad got the bill from O'Brien he noticed a charge for a new timing belt for over $900! The timing belt had just been replaced last year by the mechanic shop we normally take my car to. O'Brien never said anything about it to my dad otherwise he never would have let them replace it!! They refused to give him a refund for it!! This is extremely disappointing as my Dad paid the bill for this on the car that I own. I make ends meet but for something like this would have been very hard to for me to pay. I'm so grateful to have a Dad that is so supportive. So when I heard about this I was extremely furious!!! O'BRIEN HONDA YOU NEED TO DO BETTER!! STOP SCAMMING DECENT HARD WORKING PEOPLE! Unfortunately we learned the hard way and will NEVER be bring another car here again! Had we seen the other reviews we never would have brought my car here.
