This is the place for donuts in Maricopa. The place is simple. No frills. Almost a hole in the wall. The donuts are fresh and delicious. Every time I drop by no matter the time of day the donuts are tender and fresh tasting. They have a full selection of traditional donuts. A few savory selections and coffee, tea, boba and a case with bottled drinks. Today we enjoyed the Apple Fritter and Chocolate Long John. The fritter was nicely fried yet soft, you could even taste the apple. Yum! The chocolate Long John was nicely coated with the chocolate, fresh. These we enjoyed with a chocolate chip boba and a matcha milk boba tea. Both were refreshing, nicely sweetened. The boba was soft. You could tell it was freshly made. They have savory selections as well. I haven't tried the ham and cheese nor the jalapeño and cheese croissant selections they looked good. Service is always friendly. Locally owned. This is my go to when in the area and craving the occasional donut or boba. If you decide to visit, go early. They do sell out.

Went to Good Donuts today to satisfy my boba & donuts craving and I feel like I really want to like this place more than I actually do. The boba in the smoothie was nice and tasted fresh. The donut was okay but I feel like it was missing something. I have been here once before and I did not like my donut or boba drink at ALL and decided to give this place another shot. It's definitely better this time around. I want to try them one last time to make my final decision. The staff and service are decent. The inside looks outdated. I feel like it could be better.

Croissant . Huge and flaky. Makes my heart happy.

Great customer service. You are greeted right as you come in. Very welcoming. I wish I would have came here sooner. Decided to try a new place for croissants. I was not disappointed one bit . Huge and flaky. Loved it . This is my second time back. Will definitely visit again.

Got the cookies and cream shake with black boba pearls yesterday!! It was amazing!! All of her boba drinks are delicious. This flavor might be my favorite though. I'm thinking about trying another flavor of hers but I might be craving cookies and cream again. Also tried her vanilla sprinkles doughnut, and omg it was the best ever!! It's so big and had the right amount of sweetness! I also tried one of her massive croissants, and it was the best croissant I've ever had! If you haven't tried this place yet, I definitely recommend it!! Keep in mind, she closes at 4pm and runs out of doughnuts on some days!

There yummy sweet brown boba tea

This place is so good for a treat or morning breakfast. I'm from SF and have been coming to AZ for the past 5 years every summer and each time I make sure to get these tasty donuts

Good Donuts 20924 N John Wayne Pkwy Ste D-3, Maricopa AZ 85139 August 7, 2022 Sunday - 6 AM for a breakfast treat 1 Adult (picking up for two) Atmosphere - 4 stars Food - 5 stars Service - 5 stars Background - I was requested to pick some donuts up. I decide on the local shop. Atmosphere - Located right off the main road in town. Located new the "DMV" and in the same strip as Bashas. Tiny shop with a great display case. The smell of fresh donuts was amazing. Still have the COVID shielding by the register, which I am fine with. It did not hinder me from paying and picking up my donuts. Food - Two large cases of donuts and other pastries. I picked up 3 donuts, and croissant. The croissant was huge, buttery, and flaky, everything you want in one. The star today was their apple fritter. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Next time I might be just buying those. Service - When I walked in a lady was bringing out a fresh tray of donuts from the back. She did a little work behind the counter while I looked at all the choices. I know most of my standard donuts, but some labels would be nice. After I selected my four, she bag them up and rang me. Easy peasy. Future - Love going to the local shop, and that they have fresh donuts. YUM.

This used to be the joint. But now I'm not so sure, I took my fiancé here to try this place. We got a dozen doughnuts and we both ended up at the mercy of our stomachs. Some of the glazed were good but the one I got felt like eating through hard plastic. Needles to say it's a big hit or miss with the doughnuts. The place could use a clean for sure. There was a big cobweb hanging over the corner. I don't think we will be coming back for a while which is sad as mentioned earlier, this used to be the joint.

Stay away from my donuts! :-)

The second you walk in, you're surrounded by a romance book-lover's dream. The ambiance feels like stepping into a cozy Hogwarts library. It's warm, magical, and the perfect place to get lost in a book. There is also a vintage-style Photo Booth that will print out two photo strips for $5! I also love the story behind this place starting online and growing into a physical bookstore that now carries such a fun variety of books, plus the cutest hip and trendy merch (hats, book pins, shirts, and more). The coffee is good, and their menu is surprisingly extensive. I ordered the cookie butter latte and was genuinely impressed by both the size and the taste. On top of all that, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Whether you're looking to study, find community, or just yap with fellow book lovers, this is such a fun and inviting space!

They also have energy drinks so I'd say this is a typical "quick" coffee shop style where you shouldn't expect in house flavors being made or anything and very sweet drinks (which I love). I got an almond croissant which was delicious. They get their pastries from the Gadsby Bakery I believe. They're so good. The service was so friendly and we got our drinks so quick!

You order at a counter and the staff will bring food to your table. My favorite item is the breakfast sandwich. The brioche is tasty, the eggs are extremely fluffy, and the sausage has nice flavor. I love seeing them working together... I love their coffees and drinks! However, the only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that their food menu is lacking and it takes so long to get it when you do order something. For instance I once ordered some sort of pastry I think it was banana bread, and it tasted like the Starbucks one that come prepackaged like airplane food and it took 35 minutes until it was delivered to my table. Another time I ordered a breakfast scramble or similar w Potato wedges and it tasted like something microwaved and took over 40 minutes to get ...so personally I just stick w drinks when I come here. Thankfully, Where U Bean has decaf espresso, which means I had lots of possible options for drinks. They offer direct trade coffee and organic teas, and homemade treats as well. Their drinks are creative and very tasty. I had the brown butter chocolate chip cookie with my coffee, and it was to die for. You can sit at tables and work, or sink in comfy couches and look around at the eclectic art. And eclectic it is, maybe my only semi-negative feedback is that it was hard to see how the name related to the decoration theme, or whether there was an overall theme at all. That's hardly a criticism though, I like places that go in many directions, it give them character. That wall of vinyls is epic! Parking was easy as the shop is located in a plaza. Plenty of spots available on a Sunday afternoon. Based on other reviews, it sounds like it's not always the case. Also, it's open until later compared to other coffee shops, which is nice if you want to spend an afternoon of teleworking. It was delightful and distinct with the date syrup and rose water. Next time I would choose almond milk because the oatmilk (+1. ) overpowered the delicate rose notes. To my surprise, gluten free food options were available at this non chain business. A chocolate chip almond cookie, peppermint bark cheesecake and an almond cake all tempted me. I went with the almond cake and enjoyed the fresh, moist, sweet treat that was topped with toasted slivered almonds. Winner. Even though I think the tab was a tad high for a morning coffee break ($16.36) I would return. I enjoyed my time here while observing the local patrons interact neighborly with each other. The homey community vibe oozed throughout this cafe which Starbucks doesn't provide. A charming cafe that seats 35 patrons inside and approximately 18 people outside. Stop on by.

Had the nachos with the chicken tinga and was delicious. Had margaritas too and they were also really good. So decided to try breakfast. I'm really disappointed that the experience was not as great this time. First of all ordered coffee and it was lukewarm at best. Told the server and asked about a coffee that comes in the clay cups when she said it was a cinnamon coffee, that sounded good, so I ordered it instead and it came out piping hot, much better. But then my breakfast, the big papa, which looked and tasted good, but it also came out just barely warm. My husband said his was hot and we got them at the same time. Place was pretty busy, regardless though there should be check of the plate to make sure it's plated correctly and it's going out hot. I told the server and they did discount the ticket but honestly I would've rather paid full price and had the food hot, it ruined the experience of going out for breakfast. All in all the food is actually really tasty but not so sure I would try it again for breakfast.
