First time here since the new owners and rebranding occurred. I love that they open at 4 AM!!! I tried both their blueberry cake and maple & bacon bar. The donuts were fresh and slightly warm. The bacon pieces were cooked nicely with a crunch. The blueberry cake donut was extremely moist and just enough vanilla glaze not caked on heavily; like most places do. Unfortunately because it was literally 4 AM I didn't take any pictures. The pictures do not do the donuts justice. Love that they have a larger staff to serve customers. They serve a lot of the typical breakfast sandwiches and boba drinks. The service was quick and friendly. One menu item that intrigued me is their Cambodian Coffee. Evidently it is very similar to Vietnamese Coffee. I will definitely come back, just for that. read more

The place is small but it does have seating available. I have only been here in the afternoon and evening times so not sure how they are in the mornings. My wife surprised me with and order from Blooming Donuts yesterday. I never knew they existed until now. Wow what a great treat she got two Kolache's, handmade ham and cheese sandwich and some donut holes. I haven't had a Kolache since I was in Texas. This is the place for donuts in Maricopa. The place is simple. No frills. Almost a hole in the wall. The donuts are fresh and delicious. Every time I drop by no matter the time of day the donuts are tender and fresh tasting. They have a full selection of traditional donuts. A few savory selections and coffee, tea, boba and a case with bottled drinks. Today we enjoyed the Apple Fritter and Chocolate Long John. The fritter was nicely fried yet soft, you could even taste the apple. Yum! The chocolate Long John was nicely coated with the chocolate, fresh. These we enjoyed with a chocolate chip boba and a matcha milk boba tea. Both were refreshing, nicely sweetened. The boba was soft. You could tell it was freshly made. They have savory selections as well. I haven't tried the ham and cheese nor the jalapeño and cheese croissant selections they looked good. Service is always friendly. Locally owned. Went to Good Donuts today to satisfy my boba & donuts craving and I feel like I really want to like this place more than I actually do. The boba in the smoothie was nice and tasted fresh. The donut was okay but I feel like it was missing something. I have been here once before and I did not like my donut or boba drink at ALL and decided to give this place another shot. Got the cookies and cream shake with black boba pearls yesterday!! It was amazing!! All of her boba drinks are delicious. This flavor might be my favorite though. I'm thinking about trying another flavor of hers but I might be craving cookies and cream again. Also tried her vanilla sprinkles doughnut, and omg it was the best ever!! It's so big and had the right amount of sweetness! I also tried one of her massive croissants, and it was the best croissant I've ever had! The smell of fresh donuts was amazing. Still have the COVID shielding by the register, which I am fine with. It did not hinder me from paying and picking up my donuts. Food - Two large cases of donuts and other pastries. I picked up 3 donuts, and croissant. The croissant was huge, buttery, and flaky, everything you want in one. The star today was their apple fritter. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Next time I might be just buying those. Service - When I walked in a lady was bringing out a fresh tray of donuts from the back. She did a little work behind the counter while I looked at all the choices. I know most of my standard donuts, but some labels would be nice. After I selected my four, she bag them up and rang me. Easy peasy. I normally stop in on my way to work for donut holes and ham/cheese and jalapeño stuffed croissant. They are always to friendly and helpful. The shop has a couple of regular that are having coffee and donuts. They are a great source of advertisement for them. The customer's chat with me while I wait for my order. This used to be the joint. But now I'm not so sure, I took my fiancé here to try this place. We got a dozen doughnuts and we both ended up at the mercy of our stomachs. Some of the glazed were good but the one I got felt like eating through hard plastic. Needles to say it's a big hit or miss with the doughnuts. The place could use a clean for sure. What a great little shop tucked away behind Auto Zone. After Dunkin disappointing us last month we had to give Good Donuts a try. We went in about 8am and had a huge selection. They have croissants, donuts, drinks, boba and more. I was excited to try the ham and cheese croissant and it was pretty yummy. Next we ordered a dozen mixed donuts and my fav jelly filled! Random stop at another Asian donut shop. This one was way in the back of a shopping center behind another shopping center. It was a limited selection, but surprisingly the small sized apple fritter for $1 19 was top notch. Not too greasy and a good amount of apples made this a sweet morning treat. read more

Went here for some donuts and got an orange juice as my drink. Tasted it and it tasted weird and I looked for the expiration date and saw it expired on AUGUST 5 2024. It's currently August 18. I don't know how a business doesn't keep track of their inventory knowing expired products can be harmful. Currently suffering the consequences of said expired product (food poisoning). Great Saturday morning in the Basin. What more can one man ask for; waking up to birds laughing outside-light blue skies-cool Arizona mornings....and taking a short drive to the local mom & pop donut shop.... I live in a small town just outside of major cities in The Phoenix Metro area. We have necessities here....great families, good community and this small donut shop. Adjacent to a recent competitor- this shop makes...basic, homemade, no nonsense donuts. I mean, their are fancier more expensive floured, sugary creations- which, don't get me wrong- I love, and appreciate but sometimes its needed to support the local, homegrown...mom & pop shops.
