    Winter Melon Lemonade

I got the winter melon lemonade with light ice and 50% sweetness and it was perfect for a hot day!

New boba spots that have opened in Allston in the span of 2 weeks! Like we didn't have so many options already. I wanted to try HeyTea but the line was out the door and I was not waiting in the cold. So we instead went to Yi Fang! Inside was so nice and cozy that my friend's glasses were foggy the second we walked in lol... It is a really nice space with a lot of yummy options. They even had food and some snacks which I was not aware of. Their boba was very small and cute and very chewy. I was salivating over the fruit teas but decided to try the brown sugar milk tea. Very dangerous being right next to me but I will be back to try their many different combos. What we got Earl grey Lemon Tea Brown sugar pearl earl grey tea

They're finally open! I've waited and waited so long for this location to open. The space looks similar to the setup like the Newbury location, but this one is much bigger! Kinda too big and bare, in my opinion. They have a self-kiosk to make ordering super easy, and service is very fast!

Got a Too Good to Go bag from here. Great deal! I got two medium sized teas and two cups of topping. One of the brown sugar boba and one of the cream foam. All way very tasty and pricewise was a great deal.

I waited about an hour and a half on their grand opening day to be one of the first 50 people to get a free gift bag. Yi Fang is one of my favorite boba spots, so they're opening in Allston adding to the numerous boba choices is amazing. Located on Brighton Ave, right across from super 88 there's a few tables and a bench table looking outside. I ordered my favorite drink the multi floral honey mountain tea with boba. It's a fresh, sweet tea and the boba is small and chewy. They have 15% off for their grand opening and have been giving out loyalty cards. I will definitely be returning to try out their other drinks and recommend everyone try them out!

I am disappointed, from the very start to the end my experience was quite bad. The kitchen did not allow a bread substitution for the sandwich we ordered, they did not do waffles at this location either, and when we got our food the portion sizes were very small. The salmon was very overpriced for how much they offered; $27 for a piece of salmon only a few inches across was insulting, but apparently that is just how it is served there (picture below, you can see the pieces of broccoli are almost as big as the fish!) The other dish we got was the chicken sandwich, which is cut into two halves. The first half was normal but there was basically no chicken on the second half of the sandwich, it was essentially all bread. We brought it up to a manager and they got us a new piece of chicken, which fit entirely alongside the old piece of chicken on the bun because it was so small. On top of that we had to wait around nearly half an hour after finishing and had to flag down a waiter to get our check and go. The service overall was very slow. I will never come back to this restaurant.

Won't go back. Wish I had pictures, sorry. I wasn't thinking about a review. After a 15/20 minute wait, in an effort to seat us quickly, they sat us at a table that was wet, with water, and sticky from what was presumably the last table's syrup. There were 2 open, used, nips of syrup on the table that they hadn't seen or bothering to pick up. The ambiance/decor was very confusing, a lot of colors and patterns. It wasn't quirky (I've been to quirky done well), it was bordering on scatterbrained? I joked that the place was meant to be visually confusing so that you wouldn't see the lack of cleanliness. We asked for napkins to wipe our table and we were given napkins to clean it ourselves. I mean sure it was what we had asked for but when I asked in the past, someone came over with a rag and cleaner and cleaned it for us so I was a little underwhelmed with that one. Also, the table was visibly not ready because my partner noticed some hesitation in the guy before he sat us and instead of saying, "wait let me get someone to clean it for you" he sat us anyway. The entire placed smelled like a mix of dirty water and wet dog. In all fairness we should've gotten up and walked out but the restaurant was packed, so we were assuming the food must be good and we were hungry. The first two appetizer plates were got were dirty and my boyfriend's silverware. We asked for new ones. The second two were also not exactly clean but not as bad as the first. We opted to eat our appetizer from the plate it came on. We ordered the Some Like it Tot. It was cool, nothing to write home about. Expected it to be more crunchy (they are tater tots after all). I ordered the mimosa flight. Only one of the drinks had any semblance of alcohol in it. They were... oddly not good? Like not bad, but not great. The flavors on the menu sounded like they should've been great together but what served me was disappointing. I got the cookie monster pancakes. Maybe 2 stars. Very mid and uninspired. Unimpressed. The pancakes were middle of the road. Not great not bed. Best thing about this place were the nips of maple syrup. My boyfriend ordered the Monster breakfast. Also mid. The home fries were not well seasoned. Will not be returning. I'm assuming they need to pay their staff better or hire ones who care or can cook. Our server was kind though.

The smell of bacon was too good to keep moving past it and we decided to head inside. Best happy accident!! Any place that has staff wearing shirts that say "Stoked for yolks" and has an array of pig decor- jackpot! My husband got a turkey and I did a ruby melt; SO GOOD! I perused the menu, and the breakfast options all looked incredible! If you find yourself on this end of Tremont and you smell amazing bacon, follow your nose to Mike and Patty's - you will not be disappointed! Also, staff was super friendly! There's a small park with shaded benches about 2 blocks away (Elliot Norton Park) which is a great place to sit down and devour the food. I ordered the Mission Breakfast Burrito and it was delicious. As of August 2026, the website lists the burrito as $14, but the price on the in-person menu was $16. I would give the burrito 4 out of 5 stars because of the way it was wrapped - about a third of the burrito was just egg and cheese and the toppings (avocado, red onion, hash browns, salsa verde, crema) were crammed on the other side of the burrito. If there was a way for the burrito to be wrapped so all the ingredients were more evenly distributed - this would easily be a 5/5 breakfast burrito. One random detail that stuck out to me was that their drinks in their refrigerator were very cold - no lukewarm sodas here! I would come back here to try their signature "Fancy" sandwich. Overall, this is a very solid breakfast spot in Boston!

Interesting restaurant…read more Probably among the best on Newbury Street for patio dining- huge, unobstructed views, great to see and be seen. But I think it has a bit of an identity crisis. I'm not sure what makes it as Mediterranean as its description, as I've been to tons of Mediterranean places around the world, and they're usually obvious. For Eva? I dunno. Maybe the access to more Mediterranean type sunlight in the summer? Anyway, service is friendly, but could use some training. I never find it useful when staff tell me certain dishes are "good" and "their favorite". I appreciate the sentiment, but a little more description would be good. What's the flavor like? Why is your calamari unique? etc, etc. I had the Tuna Tartare and Calamari for appies. The tuna was decent, but no real character. I eat this daily in LA and Vegas, and almost every restaurant has their unique twist. Eva's is decent, but vanilla. The calamari is as good as expected for Boston- a city I consider as among the best in the country for this dish. You'd be surprised how many cities (even Los Angeles) can't get it right for such a simple recipe. Eva represents. I like that. The tuna sandwich was a disappointment. I love seared rare tuna sandwiches- something the West coast has mastered- but here, the bread overpowered the tuna. In fact, I don't think I was able to actually taste it. It reminded me of my first date with the hottest cheerleader in highschool, who turned out to be the worst kisser ever. Her name was Susan. I think i'll rename their tuna sandwich "Susan". I'd rather you add a couple more bucks to the price, and pump up the tuna, then ever re-order this disappointment. I'm willing to come back and try other menu items, but only if someone else invites me.
