We'd been here a couple of times before, but only for drinks. The interior is quaint, with pretty typical Francophilic touches (pics of Parisian landmarks, etc). I decided on the Fit crepe, which is a buckwheat crepe filled with spinach and feta. Delicious, but the crepe was a bit dry around the edges. The drip coffee I got was great, however, and the hubby enjoyed his Veggie hash. Friendly service from the two servers, but they seemed a bit stretched--maybe it was more crowded than usual due to the watch party?

Food was great and the ambiance is really beautiful, totally transported to a whole different location. Our server was Francis and he was phenomenal, we asked for his recommendations on starters and entrees and also for a wine. A very welcoming vibe upon entry, we were greeted by a friendly couple who answered our questions about popular drink flavors. We decided to go with a Hot Cinnamon Dulce Latte and an Iced Blueberry Lavender Latte. While waiting, there were plenty of chairs, tables, a comfy couch and even a bar area to sit and relax. Tons of board games, books and wonderfully mellow music helps make the experience feel comforting and inviting. Our drinks were prepared quickly and shouted at the coffee bar for pickup. The presentation was great, but the flavors, out of this world! The Cinnamon Dulce Latte was OUTSTANDING. So good, in fact, that my girlfriend stole it from me! Not to worry, her Blueberry Lavender Latte was also top-notch, with a smooth, not-to-sweet flavor combination. Friendly staff (which comes with occasional karaoke renditions from the Bluetooth speakers), a chill vibe and outstanding drinks make this a top spot in the area for hardcore coffee lovers. Check them out!

I also needed to charge my laptop, but most of the outlets didn't work, and there was quite a bit of trash on the floor. Dear Team at The Ordinarie Tavern,…read more The Ordinarie has officially become one of our favorite places! We love it so much that we cannot wait to bring more of our friends and family. During our visit, we wanted to try everything on the menu. The presentation was very nice, the food and the cocktails was delicious, the portions were just right and the prices were reasonable. Booking a reservation was super easy. I reserved a patio table for 6 guests at 6:30pm on a Friday night in the middle of summer! I was easily able to modify it and received text verification of my reservation. I didn't pay a dime to use the online booking system. The ambiance was very nice, semi private and the weather was perfect However, the best part of our evening was our server, Isabella. She was incredibly welcoming, attentive, animated, and knowledgeable. She truly made our night! With much gratitude, Brenda

I had been to this bar a few years ago for their Christmas holiday pop up and had a great time so I…read morewas happy to see there was a Halloween pop up and brought a friend along. Five stars for atmosphere except the fact that they kept the front door open, which let the heat in and, since it was during the day, let daylight in, which kind of destroyed the mood. We tried to change our seat but they have a strange strict policy about not moving tables and specifically assigning certain tables to certain parties. And because this is a popular pop up, there weren't any open seats at the bar which is very immersive and very heavily decorated. We didn't have the best experience with the server that we asked about switching our table, but fortunately that was not our server and we were glad to be at our table because we absolutely loved our server, Cindy. She had great energy and was very responsive to our questions and needs. It was a delight every time she came to our table. And we loved that she and the other servers were dressed up in costume for Halloween even though it was the beginning of October. Every cocktail is themed and comes in its own themed glassware, although you're not allowed to switch up which drink is in which glass. I enjoyed the Tangled Web cocktail in the spider web coupe and the Liquid Lobotomy Tiki style cocktail in the creepy doll head mug. There weren't a lot of gluten-free options for lunch, so I got the Caesar salad without croutons and added salmon. The salad was fine but the salmon was overcooked (I asked for medium rare and it was medium or a bit more than that). But good to have something in my stomach for those cocktails.

She was soooo kind & walked us through the menu sharing that a few items were her family recipes which is AMAZING. I ordered the breakfast chilaquiles, my man got the avocado toast & the Millionaire bacon. You guys... I've had MANY a chilaquiles in my life & when I tell you this chilaquiles was the best I've had. I got it with braised short rib ugh ABSOLUTE chefs kiss! The chips I could tell were made in house, the short rib was perfectly tender/seasoned, & the egg was perfectly runny. My boyfriend's Avocado Toast was also really good & the avocado was like whipped & fluffy which he loved. AND the Millionaire Bacon WOW she was a thick body & the perfect balance of sweet & savory! Oh lord it didn't even stop there... Dani was so sweet she literally brought us the cheese bread out just to try it AND the guava/passionfruit mousse. I just have to say that is my new favorite dessert ever it was so refreshing but also not overwhelmingly sweet. We sat out on the patio because the weather was perfect but the restaurant itself is so cute & has an intimate kind of feel. I have to say that everything tasted like it was made with love & good intentions & that really came through in the food! We can't wait to come back to try their dinner menu!

I never expected to find stellar cocktails and wings inside of a hotel, but you truly never know…read more Let's start with the cocktails; they are KILLING it. The menu has a ton of really detailed options, each drink with its own depth. The menu changes seasonally but what doesn't change is the smoked old fashioned - a must-order. They smoke your drink in a glass container using applewood chips; it's quite a show and it also does make the drink much more enjoyable. Ask the bartender and they can also help guide you to a drink - I've done it a couple of times and always pleasantly surprised. Next up, the food! The hummus was very flavorful and paired with an amazing fluffy pita bread. The truffle fries were solid but the plate was HUGE, definitely needs a friend to share. The Nashville wings are the star of the show. I cannot stress this enough, this is worth a DRIVE for. The seasoning really does remind you of Howlin' Rays (the highest compliment) and the chicken is extremely crispy yet insanely juicy. The pickles and ranch that it comes with pairs so well. Do note that they are tossing it in pork fat, which enhances the depth but also makes it a little greasy at the end. I also wished they'd warn you this and offer to order it without it; especially for those who don't eat pork or for those trying to cut some calories. There's a happy hour menu too!!! So you can get drinks and food even cheaper. I cannot stop thinking about this place. It's such a sleeper. Head to Midnight Oil after a visit to continue your night.

He went into the kitchen for fresh berries, muddled them with Tito's and soda, and made a genuinely refreshing summertime drink that helped with the heat...! I eventually ordered the Crispy Shrimp & Calamari to eat as my main (I was dining alone). I had recently had a very notable version of the same dish at a Canopy by Hilton in Washington DC, and unfortunately, this one did not measure up. The breading was average and the sweet chili aioli was poor. I asked for ranch instead, which was an improvement but still not great. The portion itself was fine. Service was solid and friendly! I'd rate the staff around a 4. Based on the food I had, the kitchen lands closer to a 2.5 to 3. Fine if you're already in the hotel and want something casual, but not an amazing choice for the fried seafood.

I've been here before but never knew that they had happy hour. Well, it's a good thing that I know…read moreabout it now. Last visit we've been was for brunch and it was good. Booth the food and drinks were nice. This visit, we stopped by in the afternoon just as happy hour was starting. There was a good amount of people already inside which could be that in between lunch rush and beginning of happy hour. Getting a table was a cinch as we were seating right away on the patio. It is pet friendly which is also nice. Layout of the restaurant is, majority of the seating is outdoor which is covered. There's the dining area inside the restaurant which is pretty small, another patio to the side of that as well as the private room to the side for more of an intimate experience. Mainly the front patio and bar area tends to be the busiest. Staff were all amazing and friendly which is a major plus. Nobody wants to come an establishment where service is snooty and rude. Everyone was a major doll and the sweetest. Our waiter, I didn't get his name was the sweetest. As it was HH, they only had that menu available. Limited but still decent for what was offered. A good selection in cocktails items and for the price, they were great. As for food, same with limited items but pricing was great. They're known for the Mac and cheese with hot Cheetos as pretty much loads of the tables had ordered it. We've had it prior but this time opted out on it. Started off with one of their sangria which comes either red or white and an old fashioned. Both on the HH menu and very reasonable for 7.00 a pop. Cant beat that. Sangria was quite refreshing with the fruit slices while the old fashioned, it was strong. Actually worth it for 7.00. Food, a mixture of things to share. An order of their fries with parsley and rosemary with an aioli sauce for dipping, 8.00. The braised cheddar brat with house mustard, caramelized onions, Calabrian chili with basil and shallot for 11.00. Quite tasty and flavorful with all the topping and served in a nice roll. The chicken sandwich which was quite big. Fried chicken with cheddar and American cheese, chef sauce, pickles on a benne seed bun for 11.00. And lastly the attic cheeseburger with new school American cheese, pickles, grilled onion aioli, caramelized onions on a benne seed bun cooked medium for 12.00. It was tasty but between that and the chicken sandwich, chicken takes the leads. Pricewise for the sandwiches was great. Everything is à la carte on the menu. They do have other main dishes but we just stuck to the sandwiches. Also a second round of drinks was had. The mango margaritas and the classic. Both tasty and for 7.00 a pop, can't beat that. The whole experience was great. Service was excellent and all the staff were amazing. Patio seating is great as it's perfect for people watching and enjoying the outdoor. Until next time.

I have been a customer of Nick's 40+ times at minimum. However, they really need to start adding more salads to their menu. The traditional Nick's menu is good, it's very solid. I am a big fan of their filets, petit bistro salad, steak salad, and fish. None of those should be cut! But there needs to be, at minimum, one to two more entrée salad options. Quinoa is great, but doesn't work for everyone. Even just one or two added entree salads would make it much more enticing to return, especially for mixed gender groups. Ideally, the chef could rotate this salad through new concepts seasonally. No need for new menus, just do a specials card. If that's not possible, then one or two permanent salad items to cater to the health foodies would be AMAZING. The main issue is that the Nick's menu lacks innovation, which makes it hard to bring business partners or friends there on repeat visits. I wouldn't be so bothered except that the last time I went to Nick's I added chicken to a salad and they gave me a very poorly prepared piece of low quality chicken with three mouthfuls of bone and gristle. I can accept a stagnant menu if it is always prepared excellently, but I can't accept an inconsistent preparation and stagnant menu. Thank you to everyone at Nick's. Appreciate you all a lot.
