They have lower prices compared to other places in the city and the area. I travel about 50 minutes to get my lashes done. It is worth the travel in my opinion. Made same day appointment on Sunday and used the groupon deal for 90 piece natural set. I walked in and was greeted by the nice receptionist who explained to me the different options offered. I already had a few lashes and it cost me $10 dollars extra to remove them. I originally wanted to get cute style with B/C curl and sizes 11-13. After laying down with my tech Aimee, she recommended the gorgeous style with B curl and length 10-12 for my eye shape. I was a little hesitant because I am still new to eyelash extensions, but still followed her recommendation. My appointment took about an hour and a half. I was able to fall asleep because Aimee had the most gentle touch and felt very comfortable with her. I really liked my final result. One of my eyes was a little more longer width wise, but after speaking with Aimee she immediately fixed and addressed my complaint. I wouldn't recommend this place even if it is cheap on Groupon. There are a bunch of other places around Flushing that charges the same Groupon price. I got the style sexy in the length 13. During the process the lash technician kept pinching my eye which caused a lot of discomfort. At the end I was very unsatisfied with the way my lashes turned out and it definitely didn't look anywhere near sexy to me. The lashes were all over the place and my lash line was very irritated. There was no aftercare instructions about my lashes and they just rushed me out reminding me that tip wasn't included in the Groupon deal. Always come here for my lash extensions. I've only ever been here for lash extensions so I have nothing else to base my experiences off of but bling is pretty good. The lash technicians are always really nice and so is the lady that schedules. Everyone seems to be knowledgeable. They offer 5% (I think) discount if you pay with cash but do take cards. However one time I walked in and the receptionist was kinda rude and told me that Bling is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. There were a lot of beds so I asked if there was anyway she could squeeze me in (since I had already traveled all this way and found parking) and she said no. I wanted to write a raving review because the location is quiet, peaceful, and the person who I spoke to in the front was very courteous. I called before coming and the person on the phone was also very helpful. My service was quick even though I walked in and my lashes look great. I got a Groupon for 60 lashes and so they're not very dramatic. This was my first time trying Mink lashes so I wanted to try as light as possible and maybe do more next time. Unfortunately I understand a little Mandarin and I kept hearing 太便宜 （tài piányí-too cheap) as the technicians talked to each other. I really tried to ignore it and give her the benefit of the doubt that she was talking about something else. Then she said it again at the end as she handed me the mirror (I'm black so it seemed like she assumed I don't understand). It was pretty rude and earlier someone introduced her as the manager so I think that's really a shame. After I signed her book she pushed me toward a sign that gave care instructions for the lashes. It literally felt like she was pushing me out the door. I wanted to confront her on the spot but I decided to write this review instead. I will do Mink Lashes again, with more lashes, but I won't go back to this place. read more

Usually when you get your eyelashes done the ambience is calm and not disruptive, but there was a lot of conversation amongst the workers here. Got a Livingsocial voucher for 80 mink lashes. I was able to set up an appointment via Yelp a couple days before. I requested Joanne as there were other reviewers who recommended her. I came in a little earlier for my 1PM appointment and the place was small, but comfortable and ladies at the front were nice. I asked a couple times to make sure the person I would have my lashes done by would be Joanne because I wanted them done well for my brother's wedding. I usually go with what places recommended even though I've had my lashes done maybe about 4 times. I wanted to be natural, but still stand out as I was getting them done for a special occasion. I've had the C curl 13 before and while at first it would look crazy to me, it worked well for pictures. However, they recommended something they called a B curl and did like 11-12. I felt like the girl who did my lashes took her time and was super light handed. I barely even knew she was working on me! They were busy so I didn't fall asleep, but the chatter near me and the coming and going of people who came after me made me wonder - though I know having more lashes done takes longer. When it was finally done, I checked them out and saw that they were not as dramatic as I was hoping and while they did look "natural" they didn't really stand out to me. I still tipped the girl over 20% of the original price because she was nice, but found out she was NOT Joanne. This bothered me as I asked several times, she was actually available to see me, and the talking between her and my person was most likely to check on her work! She replied with "next time." Too bad there won't be a next time. They were pleasant enough, but this place does not warrant me coming all the way here from South Brooklyn. When I got home, all procedures were followed and I only had 1 lash fall out from each eye after a day, but what I've noticed now after almost 14 days, is that there was glue on the tips of the lashes that attracted dust and other debris which got stuck on the lashes and caused there to be this "shadow" of something that's constantly in my view. I usually don't see the lashes, but with this visit, I always notice them like there's something in front of my eyes. They also started turning and the glued ends were detaching before my eyelashes grew out on their own even though I use the little brush they gave me to keep them in line. Overall it was fine because they served the purpose for the wedding, but I will look to go somewhere else as extensions usually stay long on my eyelashes because they usually take longer to grow out and the lashes stayed pretty well from other places and have lasted better. read more

I came here for the first time. The place is clean & all the ladies looked very professional. I WILL go back. The good: They did an excellent job on my eye lashes. I got the 80 pcs per eye. It's a nice little eyelash spot, I used a groupon for $25 for 60lashes. if I had known more about mink lashes I would've gotten more lashes added in not 60. The 60 lashes are very very subtle almost not worth it. They look really natural and that's exactly it very natural, no wow factor. So go all out and get maybe 80 lashes in the "sexy" style. They took me without an appointment. I got lucky because they were fully booked for the day. If I ever go back I'll do more research about the length and curl style that I want. read more

I came here with a Groupon for the Mink 80 lashes per eye. My lashes are short and weak so they recommended the Silk for an extra $10.00 which was fine with me. I asked for 10,11,12 in Sexy with C curl. Everything was perfect (making an appointment, parking, location, price) until they lay me down with this girl with pink hair. I did my lashes many times before with different places but this place is by far the worse. The lady spent 1.5 hours only my lashes and glued my top and bottom lashes together on my left eye. She had my lashes poking out in all directions and one lash was also glued incorrectly into my inner lid. I called back the same to get it fixed. The lady in the front was courteous and immediately set me up with another lady. This lady did a better job but still wasn't what I wanted. She had to remove all my lashes to give me a brand new set. 1) She was burning my right eye with the glue removal. I kept on complaining to her but all she said was "Don't open you eyes" *My eyes was burning for a long time!* 2) She kept on complaining about how long it took to remove my lashes (If you guys didnt mess up, you think I will be back here lying down for another 2 hours?!) 3) She did not give me my C curl but gave me B curl. My only reservations about this place is that I specifically requested for Joann but I was unknowingly given another technician without warning. I only found out after the fact. Second, I felt kind of rushed to be seated. It was my first time getting extensions and I felt like the process and options weren't thoroughly explained. It seems that the receptionist is the main translator for the whole store. So if she's busy, your consultation and the general flow of your experience might be rushed or not thoroughly communicated. I kind of went with it and trusted in my technician. I believe her name was Ashley and despite it all, she seemed like she knows what she was doing! My extensions themselves came out really nice. I just wish they came out more dramatic, as they are very subtle right now.
