I should have known Something was up when she did 90 pieces in less than 40 mins when my usual places do 60 pieces in an hour. My eyes were burning the whole time. I'm horrified with how it came out. I asked for a natural cat eye and I got ghetto stick on lash look. Usually Chinese girls know exactly how to do a gentle, natural look. beware future clients !! i've had this studio recommended from a friend who used a groupon to purchase a set of lashes - was excited to get my lashes done here too for a special event so after i brought the groupon and texted the studio to book my appointment they tell me they no longer work with groupon anymore and that i need to get a refund from groupon for the voucher i JUST purchased today. they said their policy "changed" and will still honor the groupon discount BUT, my issue is, why are they still on groupon then? why are they making clients buy the voucher only to have to seek a refund afterwards? that's unprofessional and ridiculous. below i am attaching i screenshot of my conversation with the lady from the studio. will be reporting the business to groupon as well because its a shame that they claim to partake in this promotion but then are asking clients to get a refund when the new policy change is NO WHERE stated on groupon. beware!! read more

Sweety Girl Eyelashes is a lash extensions studio located on the second floor of a Flushing building. It is a 5 minute walk from the 7 Train station and one block from the Tangram Mall. The ambience was nice with calm music and the studio was clean. The tools and esthetician, Ting Ting, was hygienic and efficient. She did a great job. I had the 200pc set done in less than an hour. The eyelashes lasted a week of swimming and I had zero burning or tearing in the eyes. The studio no longer does nails or waxing but there were three lash beds for clients. There is a 15 minute cancellation policy where clients will need to rebook if they are late. Since flushing is congested, it's better to arrive 10-20 minutes early in case of traffic. read more

Okay, first of all I apologize for these super zoomed in photos I just really want y'all to understand how full and pretty these lashes were. So I discovered this place through Groupon and only paid 56$ for the 300 pc synthetic mink lash promo so I was not sure what to expect but boy was I pleasantly surprised! Their located on the third floor so there's quite a bit of steps. The interior is cute and as soon as you go in they give you hand sanitizer and spray you with( I think alcohol ) a sanitizing spray and they get to work right away. The woman who helped me was really great with recommending what style and length would suit my face and she was very polite. The service was good I just lay back and relax and in about an hour I'm all done. What surprised me was that I had no redness or irritation afterwards like I usually do from other places so that was a plus. How long it lasted: I got these a week before my vacation, these photos are my lashes after 2 1/2 weeks !! of jumping into rivers, swimming in waterfalls, lakes, the ocean, hiking up a mountain for 6 hours sweating profusely, hot tubs, pools, and much more all in tropical humid 90 degree heat. These lashes held on to me for dear life! LOOK AT HOW FULL THEY ARE. They kept their curl and shape and made me look so good in vacation photos I'm coming back here for sure! (They last till about the middle of the third week then they start falling out and need a fill in but I've found that that's pretty typical for lash extensions) Highly recommend! read more

I was informed that you can only purchase a Groupon voucher after 180 days but no where on Groupon does it say this. I also asked to do waxing instead and they said waxing is not available. It doesn't make sense why you would allow customers to purchase the Groupon again if you have no intention of allowing them to redeem it. read more

I bought a singular Groupon upon seeing the reviews explaining the business only allows one Groupon per new client (though Groupon allows a limit of 3). I did have old lash extensions and I knew ahead of time that it would be an additional $20 for removal, again from the reviews on Yelp. I wish I would've gotten my lash tech's name because she did an amazing job. I asked for the Gorgeous Lash style and one curlier size up from my previous and she did not disappoint whatsoever. I tried using my Groupon voucher but the company said I would not be able to use it. I bought two Groupons because Groupon allowed me to buy 2 (the limit was 3). I used the first one, but when I called to use the second one they said I wasn't able to and that I have to cancel. I asked why Groupon allowed me to make two purchases if they wouldn't let me use both Groupons before the expiration date and they said it was for if you wanted to buy one for a friend (which makes no sense because it says other people cannot use your Groupon). I went to the merchant on Saturday since I needed my lashes done before graduation. They required me to pay the remaining balance for the full cost of service since they were not accepting my Groupon voucher. A Groupon rep said if I am unhappy with the service provided then I could request a refund. The lady messed up my eyelashes. I stumbled upon this place when I absolutely needed to get my lashes done one afternoon. The place is a little hard to find at first, you need to go up a set of stairs where you would see a hair salon, and another set of stairs that leads to the lash place. It was my first time there and they were very patient and gave me guidance on which curl and shape would look good, and what the length would be. It was really great service and they have a basket for bags and jackets etc. There was relaxing music playing when they did my lashes and they came out perfect. This is my second time at this salon. The first time I went it was over a month ago and I had a wonderful experience and really loved my lashes. I went again yesterday to get a new set. The only reason why I'm writing this review is because for the first time EVER, the fumes from the glue that was being used was really irritating my nostrils and burning my throat. It was a horrible experience. That's never happened to me before and I've been to several other eyelash salons. After my eyelashes were done I asked the young lady if she had used a different type of glue. She said no and that some people are more sensitive than others. I'm not sure I would return if there's a chance I'm going to have that same experience because today I've been experiencing headaches. I did some research and it turns out that eyelash glue contains an ingredient that can cause side effects and headaches is on the list. Please do your research. read more
