I knew I fucked up when my lash lady started using scissors to even out my lashes. Irene was really nice but did not do what I asked for. I showed her two reference pictures from yelp and when I looked in the mirror it looked nothing like it. She told me it was eye shape.. Now it's been a couple days and I look at my lashes, they're completely uneven, different sizes lashes that are really really noticeable. Irene also did not put lashes on my full lash line. Towards the end and the beginning you can clearly see my eyelashes poking out. Irene put the extensions underneath my real lashes rather than inbetween the lashes so when I close my eyes, you can see all of my lashes separating from my extensions. It's really embarrassing. What's more embarrassing is I paid 125$ for this mess.

I went here to get my lashes done before my trip to Cancún pre-COVID with high expectations because of the pictures I saw on their yelp. It was my first time getting my lashes done professionally and the lady who did my lashes did not even offer to suggest what she thought would look best with my eye shape. When I decided on volume lashes + cat eye style, she gave me attitude. She also incorrectly taped my lower lash line down too low. My eyes got so irritated & dry. They ended up turning out nice but I was annoyed by the lack of care and customer service. Not sure if it was the tropical weather, but even with proper care more than 50% had fallen out after 2 weeks.

Long overdue review~ People always ask me where I get my lashes done so I have recommended all my friends and clients to come here! The technicians are very meticulous and clean. They keep track of the type of curl and length you last received (thank goodness because I am so forgetful) Customer service is top-notch and I always leave feeling glamorous AND my lashes last for 3 weeks+++! Get the D curl if ya want more drama ;) and the C curl if you're looking for more of a natural look!

I used to go even when they had their old location which was very convenient and next to the 7 train. The new studio is closer to sky view mall now and a few blocks away from the train station. I've been getting my lashes done occasionally at Ele's for about a few years now, they never disappoint. They are clean, professional, and get the job done.

They did a good job with the lash extensions, but none of it matters if you're walking out with an eye infection. I arrived at the place, which is at a third floor walk up shared with other businesses. The room itself was nice, but the business across the hall was very noisy and there was lots of yelling coming from there. It made the experience the opposite of calm. If you're going to have your eyes shut for the next 1-2 hrs, you don't want to feel panicked the whole time. To make things worse, my tech was speaking very loudly with the tech next to her. Is it really necessary to have a loud conversation while you're hovering so close over my face, especially since you're selling a calm environment to get something as intricate as lash extensions done. My tech was sick. She was coughing the whole time. I don't know if she put on a mask after I shut my eyes, but when I opened my eyes at the end, she wasn't wearing one. When she put the adhesive paper down on my left eye, I felt it go into my eye. My left eye was hurting and turning red after I opened it and the tech told me "that's normal", then handed me a fan to air my eye. A day later, my left eye is bloodshot red, swollen, and hurting. Just came back from the doctor's office and I have my first eye infection in my 33 years of life. Thanks. My eyes were fine before I went to this place FYI. Two stars bc I don't look like a lashless turtle anymore. I really wanted to like this place and I don't like leaving bad reviews, but hygiene is most important to me. I won't be returning.

What I asked for: Longer in the middle, shorter on the ends. 15mm What she did: whatever the hell she wanted.

So I went back in for the "fix" it was not bad I was much happier after this fix then I was when I originally got my lashes done. BUT. They used 3D lashes even though I specifically said I didn't want them and at the end of the day they just don't carry the length or do the style that I have come to like these days.

fans are so closed & thick when asked for wispy

okay so I usually never write bad reviews on businesses no matter how bad my experience is but this one just needed to be out... i got my lashes done a little over a week ago by the lady that's stationed at the last bed, closest to the wall/window. This was my first time in this establishment. I asked for 3D volume wispy lashes. As a lash tech in training, 3D= 3 lashes per fan. first of all the fans placed on my lashes consisted of ATLEAST 8-10 individual lashes, not to mention they weren't fanned out like a wispy set should be & there was no isolation. They're falling out so quickly and multiple natural lashes are stuck to it. I've been getting my lashes done for about a year and a half now, i chose to go here last minute because my original lash tech did not have availability and I've heard good reviews from this place. The service was okay, when you walk in a lady asks for your name and I immediately got attended to. it took a total of 40 minutes so it was clearly rushed. I could tell there was no isolation, and the fans were placed too far down so it seems like I have 2-3 week growth already. prices are cheap but it's like this for a reason. i tried to convince myself they were fine, but I literally have huge gaps on the first week and I look like an idiot lol I will say, the lady doing my lashes was really nice & offered a blanket if I felt cold and before she started she clarified with me what I wanted but clearly that didn't do much

3D volume set - $100 new set but $80 for new customers!

This is one of the best lash places I've been to. Everyone here is super friendly, the place is really clean and decorated so nicely. My lashes came out beautifully, usually it takes me a few days to get used to them but I loved them as soon as I saw them! I did 3D volume set and it only took an hour to get done, super quick but didn't take away from the quality at all! BONUS: first time customers get 20$ off.

I've been to this establishment twice for eyelashes and both times I was extremely satisfied. The location is convenient, the workers are super friendly and I feel like they listen to my needs (I like a very light and natural look) and I walked out of there feeling really happy. I would recommend them.

Update: When I told them about the eye infection they basically blamed it on the glue and said that the technicians use hand sanitizer and they don't touch our eye. I was like one she touched my lash line with her fingers, and two she touched like 8 different things before starting on my eyes! Original: Ok. I'll break it down. My number one issue is that their hygiene is not up to par. I came in for my appointment and the woman went from touching like 8 different things (while I was waiting on the couch - cash register, table, money, etc.) and then just immediately started working on my eyelashes. I was hoping in the back of my mind that she washed her hands within the last 20 minutes before I came. Her finger nails were not clean and she was touching my eyes. It didn't even smell like they were washed recently. You know like the soap smell that lingers on your hands. The woman was decent (no superb customer service more like just trying to do her job and be on to the next person). When I opened my eyes she kept asking me if my eyes were irritated but not like how they normally ask you before you get up to see if a lash needed to be moved. So I finally looked in the mirror. My lashes were beautiful BUTTTT my eyes were bloodshot red!!! Now I've been getting lashes for years professionally and this never happened to me. I got my lashes done at 5pm and it's 2am and my left eye is super red. I would've went back because my lashes look nice but hygiene is super important! So I think not.

My friend recommended this place to me. As soon as the lady started putting on the lash pieces, my eyes started to burn, especially my left eye. I told her about it and she fixed the eye patches she had put under my eye but that didn't help. Then she put the fan on it, but that only cooled it down for some minutes. Come to find out, the day after, I wake up with a red eye and it's still irritated. I go to urgent care and they surely confirm I had gotten an infection. Before getting my lashes done at this place, my eyes were perfectly fine, my eyes have never given me any issues, no itching, no burning, nothing. This place seems good based on the pictures they take from some clients but it really isn't. The lashes are too stuck together and they don't last. I've lost about half of them since yesterday.

The girl all the way in the back left by the window did my lashes and 5 days later this is the result .total waste of money .

Though I wish there was a place to hang my coat, she allowed me to take my time to settle in before we began. Lia's consultation with me was concise and informative, explaining how the process would work, easing my nerves as she was aware it was my first time. The studio itself We settled on a natural finish, with the largest lash being 12mm. There isn't much to say about the process itself, as I ended up falling asleep halfway through the hour! I was able to listen to a podcast off my phone without any trouble, and even caught some of the alluring lullabies that play inside the studio. There was little to no pinching at all, marking up the reputation of the studio to the upmost expertise and quality of service. The session was over before I knew it (definite A+ on the speed) and Lia provided a cute mirror and handheld fan to view her work. The lashes were placed perfectly, and provided beautiful, yet subtle volume to my natural eyes to accentuate their look. No signs of redness or stinging at all: just a gorgeous, luxurious look. Worst Lash-Lift Experience Ever…read more I wish I'd read a review like this before walking into this salon. From start to (abrupt) finish, every red flag was waving: * Untrained technician. She literally propped the product manual against the lamp and read each step aloud while "working" on me. Confidence-shattering to say the least. * Skipped the key step. Instead of anchoring a silicone rod to my eyelid to lift the lashes, she brushed perm solution straight onto my flat lashes and claimed they were "too stubborn" to curl. * Chemical overkill. She reapplied the perm solution three times, insisting it would "soften" the hairs. By the third coat my eyes were burning and my gut told me to stop the service. * Damage done. I left with lashes so brittle and limp that I can't wear falsies, mascara, or even attempt another professional lift for the foreseeable future. * Tone-deaf resolution. Management offered to "redo" the service the very next day--after stripping nearly every ounce of strength from my natural lashes. Absolutely not. I'm now stuck in a months-long recovery routine of lash serums and gentle cleansing, all because basic training and client safety were ignored. If you value your natural lashes, steer clear of this place.
