I've been going here for a long time. They've lost their best technicians and their customer service has gone down. I noticed they have a deal on yelp and I asked for an appointment and text them, "I'm buying the yelp deal" They text me: Did you buy already? I replied: Not yet.. They text me: You can pay cash here same price for you. But Use only one time . I agreed, although it was best for me to pay by card on yelp. I was accepted their offer by paying cash to help them out. I get there, she looks at my lashes and says she's going to charge me extra $10 for removal. I agreed, but informed technician at this point I had to purchase the yelp deal online for cash balancing. Hanna gets very defensive and says I can no longer get the deal if I buy online because it's only one time use. I then realize the fine print on the yelp says first time customer. However, they knew I was an existing customer when I text them and were allowing me to get the yelp deal as a one time use. Hanna was very rude about the situation and apparently called her boss who also denied accepting yelp deal if i purchased online. They did not honor what they text, picture attached. Had I purchased before I went in on yelp, I would have been fine. By trying to help and agreeing to pay cash, I was later denied on location. Came here after seeing my friend's eyelashes looking extremely natural! I was definitely not disappointed. I got the lady eyelash (75 lashes) for $80 and got it done in a matter of 45 minutes. This was my first time getting extensions, but the staff was understandable and worked with you. I simply stated that I wanted it to look natural and went with JC curl, which is a slight curl. She also gave me thinner lashes since I wanted to go with the natural look and the length was 11. I was told that 12 is their longest length, which really didn't match up with reviews and pictures here so please double check if you want longer lashes! Been trying to find a permanent eyelash location to get my lashes done now. I think I finally found it. The lady who did my lashes was very gentle as I am sensitive to the lash glue and I chose the fluffy thin eyelashes and it couldnt have been more perfectly natural yet also gives you a pop in the eyes. The patients I work with complimented my eyes saying I had very beautiful eyes HAHA it's funny because I have ordinary eyes but these lashes really made it look extraordinary I guess. My friend recommended this place to me for a long time and I finally decided to try. I must say, the quality of their lashes and the skills of the technician (at least the one I had) was impressive. CASH ONLY! Whenever I am in Flushing and my lashes are in need of some more friends, I go to Lady Eyelash Extension. For $80, this place is totally worth it. May is very good at keeping my eyelashes looking long and luscious but natural with her gentle touch. I've received countless compliments with many people asking me if they are my real lashes. Their customer service is great. I once got a refill on my lashes but all my lashes were falling out the next day. They were quick to fix the situation and refill my lashes free of charge. They're also good at sending you a reminder the day before. In the summer, it does get a little uncomfortable to lie down because it gets insanely hot in there but I just deal with it for that hour. Ok so I decided to do an updated review for Lady Lashes because after they saw I wasn't 100% satisfied with their service, someone reached out to me to get a refill at no charge. The woman on the phone was EXTREMELY polite and explained that my lashes may have fallen out due to the fact it was raining when I went to add money to the meter. Which ironically it was snowing when I went back the second time (yesterday). Once again I was able to get an appointment the same day. This experience was different from the last visit because; -this time I can identify that the lashes I got were cat eye with J curled mixed 11&12 or 12&13 -they overheard my little sister saying tomorrow (today) would be my birthday, they gave me a small gift -by the time the process of applying my lashes started, I started sweating and my tech wiped the sweat off my forehead then another covered me with a blanket...these small gestures added to the coziness of this business. It meant so much to have them reach out to because I see they genuinely care and their customers aren't just seen as dollar signs. Even when I tried to tip her so told me no, next time. You know, I got asked very politely why didn't I call to say I wasn't happy, simple...there are times when you try to share your experience with a company and they end up attacking you, that's why it's such a breathe of fresh air to see something like this take place. Came back second time due to Groupon. I'm very upset and feel discriminated against at this lady lashes place. There are couple reasons I'm asking for a refund from them. I purchased the Groupon, went to the shop today and they asked me to pay 60 dollars extra to get the same service. They are not validating Groupon and saying that the post on the Groupon is untruthful. They were not open for negotiation. The Groupon states limit 4 per customers, and I am under that limit. They told me to contact Groupon for a refund. Sadly, I really needed to get my eyelashes done today so I paid the extra 60 dollars. The service was quicker than normal finished in 30 mins for 120 pieces extension since the employee had another appointment at 6pm. She gave me less than satisfactory eyelashes and when I asked her to fix a lash that was irritating my eye, she was rude and discriminatory. She states that I have, uneven eyes and she refused to fix the lash. Lastly, they only accept cash and it was not written on the listing. After 45 minutes later, my friend's lashes looked very nice and tight together and she informed the worker she has a groupon. That's when the worker got pissed and lashed out on her and said "Why didn't you tell me you have a groupon?!" Then, it was my turn. At this time, she looked annoyed and she asked me if I also have groupon and I answered yes. All she asked was, "you want your friend's style?" She never explained anything to me and as this was my first time getting my lashes done, I asked her what would best fit me. She said I don't know, you pick. At this point, I gave up as she didn't want to converse with me so I just laid down for her to work on my lashes. After she was done in 30 minutes (which is really fast compared to my friend), she asked if I was satisfied and noticing her nonchalant attitude - I felt rushed and I said yah it's fine. By the way - I tipped her 20$ and she seemed surprised. Now I know why. When I got home and I looked closely - it's uneven between my eyes and not packed together compared to my friend's. My friends all told me my left looks a little fuller than the right because there are gaps on my right. I'm disappointed as this was my first time and everyone on yelp and groupon raved about this place. I'm more disappointed at how I was being treated before she found out my friend had a groupon and after she found out I have a groupon. I tried calling right after at 7pm to see if I can come in and pay extra for extra lashes and no-one picked up. But when I was getting my lashes fixed, the worker picked up a phone call in between. The way I was being treated and how she was surprised with the 20$ tip really shows me how differently customers are being treated with and without a groupon. This review is based on my experience on May 28th. I purchased a groupon deal of 100 lashes per eye and made an appt over the phone. When I arrived, I was greeted by the technicians and Yoon my lash technician of the day consulted me with the different lengths and curls of the lashes they have. I requested natural length and curl and she recommended me the C curl as my lashes were facing downwards and mix the length of 11-12mm. I have previous experiences getting lash extension and I usually ask to do the center part longer and mentioned that to Yoon during the consultation. The whole process took less than an hour. When it was finally done I checked my lashes in the mirror and they looked natural and felt light. However, they definitely did not look anywhere close to 100 lashes per eye. It was at max 70. Probably not even 70. I know what 100 lashes look like on my eyes as I have numerous experiences from other spots. I understand I don't have as many hair as others since I am Asian but I think they should have mentioned something before my session because I paid more to have this GLAM SET. Lashes felt light and comfortable but no wonder why the session was so short compared to other places. I usually always buy 100 lashes even at other places because like I mentioned I don't have much hair and that is one of the reasons why I get my lashes done for the fuller volumized look. I was very disappointed about that. As of today June 6th, most of the lashes are still remaining fine. Lashes here feel much lighter and natural than other places I have been. I've gotten eyelash extensions before at another place, but this is something else. I had gotten my extensions done about 2 weeks ago and pretty much 88% of the lashes are still intact currently. Upright, not drooping and facing left and right. I still have doll-looking lashes, two weeks later. This has yet to be my favorite eyelash extension place. Not to mention Lady Lash is way closer to where I live compared to my previous eyelash place, so I'm sold! I forgot the name of the lady who worked on me (I'm horrible with names!) but she was slightly terse (didn't try to make small talk). I felt like she worked quickly, which I realize isn't necessarily a bad thing, but did a really good job. The background noise was the occasional customer coming in and discussing her preferences, the phone ringing, and the radio. Would love to have it more peaceful, but this isn't a spa we're talking about here. I had the groupon for the "sweet lady" extensions, up to 85 lashes per set. I had come in with no cash whatsoever, but on top of the groupon, there was a $3 charge and tip. CASH ONLY so please remember to make a stop to the ATM before your appointment so you don't make the same mistake as me and walk 2 blocks down to the nearest Chase and miss your bus because of that. Kudos to these ladies at Lady Lash and I will be back! Oh for anyone who's curious, I got the cat eye C11's with natural curl. Cat eye, meaning that the lashes are longer at the end, rather than the middle. I would like them thicker and darker, but my lashes are thin and weak, and anything more would probably cause them to droop. For those who do wear glasses, the c11's will hit against your glasses which is slightly annoying but with contacts on they're the perfect length for me. read more

This is my first time getting eyelash extensions, and I chose this place based on location and price. I was gonna go to some place in Manhattan but once I found Lady Eyelash... $68 vs. $175 in the city was a no brainer. Also CASH ONLY. SERVICE 4/5 I was seated for 5 minutes when one of the girls came up to walk me through eyelash options. Type of curl, length, eyelash type, etc, someone will help you out. I ended up going for C curl, mink eyelashes at 10-11 length. Then you lie down on the beds, which was nicely made and they will get straight to work. My only negative is that I wished she walked me through the process briefly since it's my first time. I had to ask what kind of lashes she was using (mink vs. silk... They didn't give me options for this until I asked), and also what the aftercare was for the first 24 hours. In terms of the service, the whole thing took about 1.5 hours and you won't feel anything really. I dozed off at some parts, but the lady next to me was passed out snoring. That's how painless it is! It's only been a day so still waiting on how durable these lashes are. ATMOSPHERE 5/5 It's located on the third floor amongst a bunch of other Korean businesses on Union St. Once you walk up a flight of stairs, it's a nice little cozy spot with 3-4 beds, a bathroom, sofa, and reception. PRICE 5/5 Eyelash extensions are not cheap, especially since you have to keep refilling them. It's only my first time but I already think it's going to be a pricey and addictive thing. But if you need/want them done, this is one of the cheapest places I have found in Manhattan and Queens. $68 deal for first time, after that you refill every 2 or 3 weeks (prices vary depending how often you come back). absolutely LOVE lady eyelash!! I went my first time off a groupon and reading some yelp reviews.. At first I was skeptical because of the great prices BUT LET ME tell you my eyelashes were done the 15th and they still look fresh (it's the 27th)! ;after a whole week in Puerto Rico (salt water and chlorine of course) and lots of showers. I am super impressed! Just yesterday I received a compliment that they looked great & natural. They actually have a photo posted on mine. I got the Cat eye J curl lashes. When I first walked in one of the girls have me a chart of all the different types of eyelashes they offered too choose from. The place was clean and they were efficient. I literally fell in love.. This place will be my go to. I will never forget how she squeezed me in as her last appointment on Saturday because they were booked and closed on Sunday and I had to leave for vacation! I first would like to say, this is my first time EVER getting eyelashes and I am happy it was with these ladies. But I don't have enough experience getting eyelashes done, overall, to be able to compare them. So for my first experience, I'm happy to give them 5 stars. Let's note a few things that most should take into account before going: 1. NO PARKING At least not on the streets what so ever. If you found any when you went there, don't think it's going to always be like that. There is a municipal parking lot on 37th avenue, but I suggest you get there 30 mins before your appointment so you have to time look (or sit and wait) for a spot. It is a heavily congested area of flushing. 2. BRING CASH The are a cash ONLY establishment. And if you groupon'd it, you have to pay the $4(ish) tax. Please don't act surprised if they can't help you with your credit/debit card. (It happened while I was there) Also, this is a tedious job for these ladies... TIP THEM WELL! 3. DON'T WEAR MAKEUP Even as a newbie I know this, but as I was relaxing getting my lashes done, not only did someone complain about not having cash but they didn't know not to wear makeup! I mean you can... But then you can't wash your face for 24hours and you end up with crusty makeup the next day and I don't think you want that. 4. MAKE SURE YOU KEEP YOUR EYES CLOSED I didn't open them on purpose but when the technician was working on me I might have peeked up a little. But to be fair, it was my first time and I was paranoid I would not be able to open my eyes after. I know crazy but it did cross my mind! So I had my lashes done by Yoony and it felt like she really knew what she was doing. I didn't know what to feel or what to expect. My first eye felt like something had gotten into it and she must have known since I was moving my eyeball a lot. She asked if I was okay or if anything is burning and when I told her what I felt, she took care of it right away and I was comfortable until the end when the next eye had the burning sensation. Again she took care of me and made sure I was okay. I did open my eye before she said to... So it kind of was my fault. I just liked that she noticed something didn't feel right initially and stopped and took care of it before I even said anything. I also wanted longer eyelashes than my own, but she said I already had long eyelashes but would do what I wanted. I wanted a more natural look so I chose to keep them the same length as my own. I'm happy I did for my first choice! I didn't want to come out with crazy eyes. I got the natural lashes, natural length with a JC curl. I didn't ask about wether they were silk or mink, all I know is that they feel very soft and I got the 100 set for a fuller look. I like that this place takes the time and engages in dialogue concerning preference, etc. I paid for a 100 lashes and opted for a fuller rather than longer look-and while I was pretty satisfied, I thought it could have looked fuller. The ambiance is airy and space itself is roomier than the other two places I've been (which were claustrophobic). It's pretty clean but their bathroom could use a little TLC. The girl that worked on me made sure to get me pillows to ensure I was comfortable (I'm 9 pregnant and due on Thursday lol). She had very soft hands and worked really nicely on me, and the lashes came out beautiful! I hope they last because they look amazing and are extemely comfortable. And for the people complaining about parking, people please there is a lot less than a block away where you can park and pay for as many hours as needed. It takes over an hour to get them done, so why park in the front where you have to put money every hour and rush these girls? Got my eyelashes done here yesterday! The place was very clean and along the busy street of Union st. Make sure to bring extra quarters for parking! The only downside is that the parking there is only an hr, but the girls there let me know when the hr was coming up so I could put quarters in!!! That was really nice! The whole process took about 90 mins so don't go if you are in a rush. They take their time and are very neat and gentle. It was good for me because I got a little nap in! I want to start off this review by saying that I really wanted to like them. My friend got her lashes done here, with the same 100 lash groupon that had, and hers looked so butterfly-y and beautiful. I understand that lashes look different depending on your own lashes and eye shape so I shouldn't expect the same results. But after walking out and inspecting my lashes, I realized I had only - at most - 50 lashes on. I paid for 100, and even though I do not expect to get all 100 seeing I don't have that my eyelashes or long eyes, I expect to be told in advance, at the very least. I sent a photo to my friend and she immediately told me that was NOT 100 lashes. Problem 1. I'm writing this review 4 days after I had gotten them done. I took two trains to get to the place in flushing, left work early so I could give them ample time, and sped walked when I was 10 minutes late. Once I walked out I immediately realized that my right eye had lashes that looked like they we're hanging on for dear life at the end of my eye. I requested long lashes and a C curl and although this was my first extension, my friends all do it and they advised me. Upon leaving the establishment, I also realized that she did NOT tell me to remove my eye make up..... Which I then had to wear crusty eyeliner to work so I wouldn't waste my money on the lashes. Day 2, I already noticed these hard balls of glue on my eye. Problem 2, 3, and 4. Overall, I'm sad I had a bad experience. Their service is good, the place is cute and clean, beds are comfy, i just had a bad experience with my technician. I wish I could go back and fix it, but they're in such a populated area in flushing, I will never get parking on weekends. I had my eyelashes done here.the lashes I had on my Eyes it's really not comfortable. When I ask what kind of lashes they have. The girl told me they have silk and mink. And they're same. I been doing eyelashes for years. This is first time I know silk is same as mink? As I walk in this place they did not ask what style what length how thick I want. Until I ask "do you have menu I can choose? " And the girl just throw the eyelashes sample on the desk tell me to choose without any explanation. How can I tell from the lashes sample? So I tell her I would like to get 0.20 thickness and C curl. Although I have no idea which lashes they put on my eyes. What I had on it's really uncomfortable!and unnatural! These ladies are great at what they do. I've been doing extensions a long time and I can easily say they are great at recommending what looks best on you, based on your preference, and they do a great job. I've never had so many compliments about my lashes even though I've been doing them for years. I did their groupon bc it was a steal and my usual people were unavailable. The technician was very meticulous and was not in any rush. The only downside is that their glue is extremely strong which may cause some burning during application and damage your natural lashes. BUT in turn, they lasted so so so long and weathered through vacation, beach days, rubbing, goggle-use, makeup abuse and so on. Parking is a bit rough so my suggestion is to park in the lot as street parking is only an hour. My only rec is to use a glue with less formaldehyde! read more
